I started feeling flutters in my tummy at 16 weeks,Dre's nothing scary abt scan the joy of seeing little one on the screen is lovely.BT my baby always give doc tough time wen he wants to measure,baby start jumping till now we haven't checked gender cs baby doesn't cooperate. Maybe u can go with hubby anytime u wanna do scan.

Its no more 35% oo not since first trimester wahala dats why I wanna boost it na 28% we dey now o but thank God am eating well now

Do PCV test and ask dem. There was a time I was sick and d Dr recommend I do PCV test in a lab, was told I av 30% and it's abit low bt fair.
Even dat 28% she has self, I ask a woman last week if 32% is nt too low for my delivery and she said she do gv birth at 27/28 bt to b on safer side, make one sha boost to avoid go buy blood story

God bless u for this ma, cos I was having pcv of 35 BT since I suffered from morning sickness ist trimester it started dropping ,I was not eating anything just pap, I will try to boost it but am not scared its hasn't dropped since the last time I checked. BT I wanna increase it. A woman I knew back den had 27% she gave birth without cs and said after delivery her pcv went back up dats how her own pregnancy pcv usually is.

A friend told me "be doing dis tin well o because she had sex like just 3-4 times during pregnancy nd affected her labour, she spent 3 days in labour" while another person say if dat sex of a tin dey work, she no suppose gv birth to her children tru CS den because she does it regularly so ayam confuse.
To me, it's nt easy to b having sex dis period o, dunno how Layormi dey do her own wey e no dey pain

Me I read an article is not by sex that ones perineum widens for labour. I don't know if the name I use correct sef. The article talked abt perineal massage at 34weeks downward. Don't know sha I always tell hubby is not by sex BT if u want we go do am

My birth story
Naming was yesterday so l said l must submit my bs today, baby is sleeping so its an opportunity to do that before he wakes up to breastfeed.
My pregnancy period wasn't stressful unlike my previous. I didn't have any morning sickness for the first three months though l wasn't really good too cos l had series of diarrhoea, it was even the diarrhea that prompted me to do a PT, my previous pregnancies, l must treat malaria and even typhoid during the first trimester.
fast forward to second trimester, l came down with malaria, treated it but it refused to go, l still continued with another series of treatment along with injections, used lonart DS when l was 35 weeks gone, despite all that, till l gave birth, they kept on seeing scanty growth of malarial parasite so l decided not to treat it again and just manage myself till l deliver
Delivery day
I was hoping to deliver at 38 weeks, l was induced for my previous pregnancy so this time around, l wanted to fall into labour naturally, kept on praying and hoping it would be so, so on this day, l woke up at midnight cos l felt mild cramping, very very mild but noticeable, l thought its braxton hicks contractions so didn't give it a bother, but it kept on going n coming, woke my husband up to inform him but himself didn't understand then l timed it n l noticed its every 10 minutes but l didn't know they were contractions, my spirit just told me to get up to pack my hospital bag cos l had not packed anything, was just lazy about it and didn't even expect labour to come this soon cos Edd was march 25th, l had buy most of the things just left with few, l finished packing and went back to sleep but sleep refused to come again, l kukuma went on social media to keep myself busy till daybreak.
When my husband was leaving, l followed him so he can drop me at his parents place cos l don't know how to drive and didn't know what to expect, l put the bags in his car n told him to carry it to work, my older baby was at his grandparents place, l wanted to see him incase l would be admitted that day so l won't miss him too much, l then decided l will be the boot for now, bye

Whenever I sleep on my left side, my left rib will be paining me except I change to the right side. My Doctor advise I sleep on my right side that baby may not be comfortable hence the pain. Since then I sleep on my right side. But I observe this month, I can sleep on the left side for some minutes without pain.

Hmm mama my own is my right rib anytime I sleep on DAT side and my baby na boss if e tire for the position na kicking things until I turn.left and right side is what I sleep on till 6:am when baby is awake for breakfast and u shudnt be found still sleeping or else na my bladder be e target for kicking till I wake.

After several miscarriages and medical conditions of over 10 years, I was confirmed pregnant around June last year.

Due to previous Pregnancy issues, a cervical cerclage was placed @13weeks. 1st trimester was the most challenging with different issues ranging from lack of appetite, moderate hyperemesis gravidarum, spotting at 6weeks and was placed on progesterone support for four ( 4) months with adequate bedrest.

Second trimester and most of the 3rd trimester period was very smooth not until I decided to be a super woman by bending excessively when doing a house chore even though I was advised against doing any form of house chore. This led to spotting at 36weeks.

The doctors were ready to do an emergency CS but by God's mercy, the scan report showed that the spotting was from the cerclage and baby is okay. The doctors had to take caution, being that the baby is a precious baby, by shifting the date of my elective CS from 15th of March to 4th of March.

My baby boy was delivered on the 4th of March at about 12:30 pm, weighing 3.5Kg. I am still recovering by God's Grace, even though we were discharged 5ldays ago, baby was re-admitted due to jaundice and he is currently on phototherapy ( Pls pray for his quick recovery).

Wishing all pregnant mamas a safe delivery in Jesus name. Thank you all for your support during this journey, you are a family indeed!

Took bike from my house to the junction, told the aboki bike man 'kadankada fah' I even pointed to my stomach so he can understand.

On the bike too I was still cautioning him with kadankada. Within a twinkle of an eye, this aboki man went to climb a rocky part whereas there was a smooth part beside it o, I was Still cautioning him when his tyre hit one sharp something and I can't even explain what happened that minit, I held unto him shouting blood of Jesus. The bike was going for a fall.
How God held him and we didn't fall is still a Miracle. handbag fell down , phone, everything with me.

People rushed to us to bring me down and all I could do was cry. Infact they all gathered and was insulting him.

Just thanking God cos it wasn't more than that, if not where I for dey? With my biggie belle?

I wish I knew mama my own baby moves any how e like if I rub my tummy it goes to the spot immediately.last scan doc said ur baby is very active to even take his measurement or heart beat pulse na war doc will start begging the baby to stay in one place first.

Good day Sabi mama in the house,
I got my bfp after ttc for 11months, i've been a silent reader for the past 4-5 months. Have been dealing with reoccuring yeast infection which leds to alot of other infection BV and pelvic pain ( left lower part of my abdomen 5-8 past ovulation) i didnt take the infection seriously i was thinking it can go treating it naturally until i started having pelvic pain now i ran to an online doctor for help she prescribed some series of antibotics which i used for 2 weeks after that the infection left but the pain still continues then my period was delayed, i had to go for hormonal profile then i discover i had high prolactin ( thou i do notice colorless fluid from my nipples when squeeze but never knew it was prolactin) google defination of prolactin is when you have milk discharge so i thought it has to be milk and not colorless fluid.
treated it with bromocriptine for just a week my period came back still batling with yeast infection i kept on buying antibotics.

December-January i made sure my husband go for SFA and get treated
i treated prolactin again using Snergo recommended by people doctor
I started using m2tone during my period which made my period for that month really heavy prior to this my period has always been scanty and brownnish in color but that month own flows heavy and bright.
I bought baby clothes to move my faith stronger, the day the clothes arrived i felt something different like Yes baby is here
I joined the Halluluyah Challenge By Nathaniel Bassey every midnight.
I stopped using the m2tone during ovulation ( i only used it for 14days 1 dose per day)
i did the okra therapy for like 3-4 days close to my ovulation, the last day i took it i felt a strong ovulation pain
I started using baby aspirin and B6 till i got my BFP

11 months of trying has not been easy so i pray for everyone ttc your bfp is closer than you think just dont give up, keep praying, eating healthy and keep believing in God he will surely answer.
Im grateful to God, grateful to this wonderful group i learnt alot from this group.

Please is there any solution for this pelvic pain? This is my third baby but it was never this bad. At just 22+ weeks, sometimes every single step will send pains to my pelvic joints.

To stand, to turn in bed is serious pain, maybe on a scale of 5/10 oh. I walk like a waddling 9 months pregnant woman when I'm just 5 months.

Anyone with solutions please?

I experienced such at 20 weeks+ my sis said its baby's position at times I shud be rubbing the place maybe the baby will move lo and behold the pain began to subside. now anytime I feel hooked I rub the spot and next thing is kick or movement at that same spot after a while I feel relieved

Good afternoon mama's and HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY TO US... I know leaving malaria untreated in pregnancy is risky especially in d early stage.... But then how safe it's d treatment? I have been having severe headache since Friday accompany by body pain and slightly rise temperature.
The matron I saw yesterday @ d PHC said I should come for 3days treatment with just IV drip and injection but she won't give me drugs as its not safe... Am seriously scared of taking d treatment as we are just ard 6weeks.....Biko help a sister in need

I was given injection for the malaria at 6weeks too and it was for three days,but as for the drip it was just to give me energy and appetite as I was throwing up everything at 8weeks.

Its normal. There was a day I was cleaning my nip and I just saw little colostrum(yellow fluid) as I pressed, I was scared but it was from one nip cos I pressed the other and it wasn't. After that day I've checked but its no longer coming out and I read that it's normal.
How many time did you experience the leak and is the fluid coming out much?

Yes its yellow fluid it's not often can be once a day especially if I lie down on the left side and the breast presses on the chair or bed for long. The fluid is scnaty,I really got so busty with this pregnancy cs I had small breast before o

Good morning mamas pls who has experience leaky boobs in pregnancy? ,am just 21weeks+ its comes from both breasts little fluid once in a day or not at all.is it normal ?

Just thinking, how will one deal with family and friends that will be angry that you didn't tell them you're pregnant after you share your delivery news.. because there are people like that oo, they feel you both are close and you shouldn't hide it from them.
