Most of the people back home believe that if someone makes $1000 a month he must/should be able to help them. Well maybe you are not the only one begging for handouts, AND that, out of this pay check, he is lucky if he has $200 spending money. Big time I hate how Nigerians rush their children into marriage due to age. Marrying before 25 is too young for me. Because you know as soon as you marry the next pressure is to have kids.

He most likely has not told the whole truth but something made him say the little he has. They are obviously going to move on with their marriage. I believe infidelity can be forgiven if the one in the wrong is truly remorseful. If he is remorseful he will do all in his power to make his wife trust him again even if it takes the rest of his life. There is no reason to think here that he is not on that track.

I dont see the point of putting an age to marriage. Yes we women have limited fertility time but I would rather marry age 30 or later for life then marry age 23 and divorce by age 45!
