I still can't get over that Joel Osteen interview with Larry King. I felt so ashamed that one of the "Biggest Men of God" in America simply could not say on cable TV that Jesus was the Only way to God. Larry gave the guy more that one opportunity to share his belief with the whole world but he declined. His 'I don't know' mantra just smelt of uncertainty. Why should i regard such a person so unsure. I mean, if He's not sure of the way of salvation, how is he better than muhammad?

I watched him now and again on TV, and I really didn't get the hang of it. Yes, I believe in renewing the mind. Prov. 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. and Prov 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: and Matt 12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things are enough to convince me. However, the whole Lakewood church setting kind of felt like hypnotism (for want of a better word) to me. The dark church building and soft spoken ways of Dr Joel feels like a Psycho analysts office. There really is nothing there that points to Jesus.

This is one topic i always enjoy cos i know the kind of pressures i faced before i got married. Put 'Born-Again' aside; EVERYBODY gets tempted. And it gets more difficult to control them urges when You have someone you love close by. How do you spend time with the one you love (which was all i wanted to do) and not face temptation? It wasn't easy. The best decision i made was not to rent my own place before my wedding. I finally got my own apartment 4 weeks before my wedding and only slept there the last 3 days of my bachelorhood. It sounds funny, but it kept us safe from all the 'wahala' and the regrets.
For everyone in a relationship that has determined to keep to biblical standards, there is always a way out with Gods grace.

How can a Christian (who believes the above statement) truly love someone who doesnt believe in Jesus Christ? How can you pray with such a person?

I Can't Thank God enuff for taking my wife thru this month. She's been down almost the entire month, but hey I just called her on the phone and she's well enuff to tease me.
