1. The Departed. (Still feel the shivers each time I remember di Caprio walking off the elevator and getting shot. The least expected twist in any story I've seen)
2. The Usual Suspect (How can Kevin Spacey 'that mugu', be the crime king pin?)
3. Shutter Island (Don't even know how to describe that di Caprio mental case twist)
4. Mystic River (Still hurts to know the pitiable Tim Robbins character diesd for nothing)

Anybody using trophy/silverware won as a criteria doen't know their left from right. Can you count hw many trophies John O'Shea and Wes Brown won with Man U? Does it make them great players? Kanu won los of stuff. But apart from 1996 what other impact did he have? Hw much tangible impact did he have on our National team, Ajax, Inter, Arsenal or Portsmouth? He was just a lucky tag along.

@SeshegoGuy

i agree, what he did is just childish and very stupid.

Orgasm
We are sick and tired of these "OGRE", eish.

Nys1
“Ngwafu” Mr Minister , Your childish action might just see a xenophobic affair against Nigerians in SA, truth be told It’s a well known fact that the whole World is not “de fine” with Nigerians as they’re known for the criminality. Now If our Airport officials deny access & deport your people back on solid facts & in line with International policies - You react by doing the same just to make a point , I think you’ve just gave us(SA) something to talk about. Maybe there was something after all !!!

Orgasm
We do not need Nigeria anyway, there is nothing positive that they bring here.

Mrazane
Why do Africans h* te each other so much?! Instead of making intelllingent comments there is xenophobic drivel dished out. The issue here is we have seriously corrupt Customs officials who have been extorting money from Nigerian travellers they drive BMW SUVs they cannot afford on their salaries- where do they get the money from. It is our Customs who make way for drugs into SA if our officials had any integrity like Thailand we would not have the drug problem that we have. Nigerians are not fools they would not react in this fashion if proper protocol was observed. Our International Relations department has absolutely no clue what they are doing and are painfully ignorant of the likely consequences of their decisions - the Libyian no fly zone decision is just one of many blunders. Travel a bit get exposed to the world that might help you overcome your h***tred of fellow africans.

Candyboy
sh!t will hit the streets, townships and suburbs of South Africa, if our GOVT gives in to these b@stards, WW3 (Africa), watch this furken space, I'm sick to my stomach knowing that our streets are infested with Nigerians, !

Was in Spain recently , They treated us like crooks , seached us or bags & we had to produce all docs , Now this fcukheads dont want to comply , Ag man aba vaye, SA is better off without the them & thier dirty money.

Hangwelani
Olugbenga why are you taking this matter personally? Was your nyatsi in the group of people that got deported?
South Africans in Nigeria do not bring drugs, prostitutio.n, 419 scams, hit men etc, the list is endless.

Everything about Nigerians is fake, even their names are fake. Sick & tired of them, they should just go back to their country if they dont like our rules and laws.

willows
Our companies are in ur country because u dnt have what it takes to form such big companies. these nigerians must just go back 2 whr they belong. Soon SA will be over-populated bcoz of them.

its not an NFF (or NFA) matter. Its up to the broadcaster to decide if paying €100k to broadcast a weekday, working hour/traffic time match was worth it. In my opinion, CAF priced the match out of reach. How much do you thnk will be made by d broadcaster?

PoliticsRe: Why This Fuel Scarcity? by lafile(m): 3:36pm On Feb 23, 2012
There's scarcity because there's a backlog of importation for which there are disputes over. Many marketers imported products which they locked and paid for in December, expecting it to be laden and arrive Lagos at a later date. However some of this products arrived at the time subsidy was non-existent (i.e. First three weeks of January 2012). The Govt is refusing to pay subsidy on this products since the Bill of Laden shows January 2012. However, marketers insists the products were paid for prior to the removal of subsidy and insist they cannot be forced to sell it at N97 without subsidy payments guaranteed.

PoliticsRe: 220mw Sapele Power Plant Comes On Stream by lafile(m): 2:48pm On Feb 23, 2012
@bolseas. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe its the same IPP project just completed and carrying out tests at the Ogorode Sapele power plant. Was there Tuesday. I am happy that the plant is complete and will add to the power generating capacity of Nigeria. But standing just close to the abandoned Ogorode plant with 1020mw capacity, it saddens me that we didn't need to get to the current energy crises we are facing.

Met with some pioneer staff of the Ogorode plant and heard the stories of how the plant was commissioned in 1978. Also heard stories of how Govt bureaucracy damaged the plant. As an example, when parts were required for maintenance purposes, a request had to be made to NEPA Benin, who then sends a request to NEPA Lagos, who then sends a request to NEPA Purchasing Lagos, who then sends a request to NEPA Liaison office London, who then sends the request to the German Office of the Power Company that built the Plant. By then, off course you know the damage that would have been caused.

I hope as we begin to rebuild our capacity, we don't allow that ugly beast "The Nigerian Factor" to take us back to the Stone Age.
PoliticsRe: 220mw Sapele Power Plant Comes On Stream by lafile(m): 12:02pm On Feb 23, 2012
This plant has not come on stream. I was there on Tuesday, and testing was still on going. And what saddens me is that it sits at the corner of a 720mw (later upgraded with additional 300mw) facility that has been completely abandoned.
PoliticsPana Confirms Gej's Attempt At Au Chairmanship by lafile(op): 2:32pm On Jan 31, 2012
The Pan African News Agency has confirmed the attempt by GEJ to head AU. I wonder why Reuben Abati was denying. It's not a bad thing to contest na!!

http://www.panapress.com/Yayi-Boni-succeeds-Obiang-Nguema-as-AU-Chairman--15-816257-30-lang2-index.html

Yayi Boni succeeds Obiang Nguema as AU Chairman

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (PANA) - The President of Benin, Yayi Boni, has taken over the chairmanship of the African Union (AU) following his nomination at a mini-Summit of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).

Boni's election came as a result of compromise by the West African leaders.

Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan had made a last-minute bid for the Chairmanship, but his quest was opposed by Ghana and other West African states which supported the Beninese President.

Equatorial Guinea's President Teodoro Obiang Nguema handed over the leadership of the AU and installed the new Chairman at the 18th AU Summit, which kicked off on Sunday, with the crisis in North Africa and the need to manage the transitions in the region dominating discussions.

Speaking during the meeting, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon made a formal plea to African leaders to appreciate the differences in the crises in Libya and Cote d’Ivoire and mend fences for the sake of future relations.

“There were differences in Cote d’Ivoire and Libya. These were not differences of objectives or goals; our partnership is anchored in shared values. These were differences in operational and strategic approaches. This is natural, even to be expected among organisations with varied mandates and membership,” Ban said.

Well played Senor Nadal. Taking the second set tie break when facing set point, shows the champion in him. He dug VERY deep to find the will to beat Berdych. I was really impressed by the tall Czech today. wasn't impressed with Juan Martin del Potro though. Felt it was too easy for The Fed. Haba. Spoiling my hopes for an upset like that. So two of my fave (del Potro and Tsonga) out. Nole better win this one o.
SportsRe: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by lafile(m): 3:48pm On Jan 23, 2012
@damas11111. I love the aggressive way David Ferrer plays. Like his itching for a fight.

Djokovic just beat Hewitt in 4 sets, while Gasquet lost to Ferrer in straight sets.

Its looking like a Semi Final of the top four again. Who's gon spoil the party? I tip Nishikori or Del Potro
SportsRe: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by lafile(m): 8:38am On Jan 23, 2012
Quarter Final Pairings:
Thomas Berdych V Rafa Nadal
Juan Martin Del Potro V Roger Federer
Andy Murray V Kei Nishikori

Still awaiting the results from Djokovic/Hewitt and Gasquet/Ferrer.

Still cant believe the Japanese guy knocked out Tsonga. was tipping Tsonga to do great things this season. Never too late though. Is Del Potro about to repeat his feat from 3 yrs ago? He hasn't been the same since his injury, but isn't playing badly. But beating The Fed might be asking a tad too much. Would be interesting to see how Murray handles Nishikori. Wont place any bets on that one. I'll place bets on Nadal beating the inconsistent Berdych. Cant seem to warm up to the guy. Last Q4 pairing is definitely Djokovic v Ferrer. Cant wait for the fire in that match.

So true. Of all the stated problems though, I think Djokovic's Federer problems would be the easiest to overcome. However, please do not discount Murray, Ferrer or even Tsonga springing a surprise. This is the Melbourne, and this Slam lends itself to 'pleasant' surprises.
