Jephehe: Great Nigerians,
We should alway encourage each other as countries like India and China are doing in Canada. My class is 40students and 38 indians. Whats the secret? Its just team brainstorming.
Anyone coming to University of waterloo, Laurie University and Conestoga College in Winter?
If yes accommodation is available.
Na only me waka come oh India's don't have bad records compare to Nigerians |

jnyuwa02: Exactly one year ago. Missed fall 2017 resumption and this was understandable cos I submitted late September. Deffered to Sept 2018 and have missed it now. No update on application. Everytime I write them it is generic message. Since profile changed to medical request pass, it's been dormant. It's pretty ridiculous what these people are doing. Very bad. Thank God I have a job I love and did not put my life on the hold for these guys. USASK full dean scholarship recepient. I don't think the schook will hold my award in perpetuity. I am starting to forget about this visa thing let them get back to me at their own time, I can't afford to worry or have hypertension. It is well, you have really endured, since you have been sending mail yet no decision on your app while not visit vfs or the Canadian embassy to make formal complain. Just my thought |

Trapping: Honestly, the amount of time Canada takes in processing a simple visa is depressing. When I see June applicants still waiting for a response/decision on their application my heart sinks - I'm like, am I sure I shouldn't have looked for another country to pursue my post graduate ambitions. The way some of these embassies treat Nigerians' applications is just not fair, despite raking in billions in applications from Nigeria. I guess it's high time Nigerians protested this unfair treatment from Canada.
Isn't it wicked for an embassy to decline someone's application after holding unto the person's application for 12weeks?. Haba! It's so sad that Canadian embassy can hold one's application for months and yet no progress on the status. My advice to applicant please look for other good countries with easy visa application process. Time na money ooh |

Happy new month and independence to my fellow brothers and sisters in the struggle to make Nigeria great again. It is my prayer that in this new month our applications shall witness divine favour and turnaround in Jesus Name. If you are applying for Winter, to be on the safe side apply now don't wait till ending on October, as the processing time is likely to increase to 14 weeks this month. It shall end in praises |

kemsudo: Good morning.
I picked up my second rejection letter yesterday' for my study permit application. During my first application, I added that I had an aunty in Canada. But when I applying the second time, I didn’t tick that I had or knew anybody in Canada. I was rejected based on the grounds that that I had ties in Canada. Please what could be wrong? Also, is it possible to send a mail appealing the case. Please find attached my second reasons for the refusal. I have travel history, I have a job, I have parents and ties to Nigeria. I attached a lot of notarized landed property documents. Please I need advise as my school resumes in January. Thank you house! Sorry about the delay, what was the reason for your first refusal? Did you address the v.o's concern. When did you apply? |

galala123: We have agents here... I think Lagos2Canna is one... When he's on fire, he runs back to this house for advice sef. I suggest people that have been active and helpful here should be given right of first refusal. Not after providing free advise, the we carry the money elsewhere. Just thinking aloud. I work with cic also Lol..... I'm not an agent and I don't support those that patronize agents, if they are authorized by CIC it's good to use them, but the truth is that a large percentage of people use agents that package their app but they will not disclose this, these agents sometimes might have helped someone they know get their trv but you will never hear anything about their numerous failed app. Galala123 I greet you, it shall end in praise. |

Fall/winter hopeful/confirmation 2018
Please if you are a May/June/July/August applicant and even before those months, share your profile if you haven't so we can finalize timeline of CIC event. It is holding true so far that within 1-2 days is biometrics call, after 8-9 weeks, review of eligibility started, 10-12 weeks medical call, 12-14 weeks decisions are handed out. Granted there is a few outliers outside of these schedules. Please today is last day of sharing to enable others establish timeframe to their applications and we shall have @goingforward at the end of the day, come and pray for all pending applications.
