For those applying for Spring start date which commence in February , waiting for admission letter will cause delay in applying for visiting visa to Egypt, Turkey and south Africa.

Has anyone applied for Egypt visit visa before ?
What documents did you submit?
How much is the application fee?

Abeg you do not insult me OK, how are my misleading people? That all you can comment is order for gcms only? If you may know I have help ten's of persons in this thread in their application. Even when I will recommend applicant for gcms I will deal with the refusal ground first and thereafter recommend for the order for gcms.
I don't just see an applicant who got refusal and all I will comment is " order for gcms " Very bad
Even after the gcms note is ordered, they still can't profer solutions to assist the person. TRV fever with STEW

Thanks.

THIS WHY CANADA IS VERY TOUGH ON NIGERIAN VISA SEEKERS
Despite being the world’s largest black nation with over 180 million people, thousands of Nigerians regularly leave the country daily to seek asylum in other countries. According to a special focus by Per Second News, for example, 13,656 Nigerians applied for Canadian Temporary Resident Visa between January to March , 2018.

A whooping 175, 474 Nigerians applied for the Temporary Resident Visa in the North American country between 2013 – 2018, according to documents sent to Per Second News by the Canadian Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship office.

The Canadian Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship approved a total of 82,277 applications from Nigerians, while 87, 247 Nigerians saw their applications denied. The Canadians say most of those granted visas refuse to go back to Nigeria and instead seek for asylum in what the Canadian authorities called ‘an unprecedented surge of asylum seekers from Nigeria.’

Asylum seekers at the US-Canadian border
So far this year, the majority of illegal migrants arriving in Canada are Nigerians who have recently been issued U.S. travel visas.

“It is apparent that they obtained those visas with the express intent to actually go to Canada,” said Hursh Jaswal, communications director for Immigration Minister Ahmed Hussen.

“They land in the United States, where they stay for a very short period of time, and then make their way to Canada.”

Per Second News in a report last week revealed that the Canadian authorities has urged U.S. embassy officials in Lagos and Abuja to crack down on visas, saying many of the asylum seekers had valid U.S. visas and used the United States merely as a transit point.

The number of U.S. visas being issued to Nigerians has since dropped, said Mathieu Genest, a spokesman for Canadian Immigration and Refugee Minister Ahmed Hussen, revealed.

“Nigerians do not want to settle in the U.S. but in Canada. It is much easier for a citizen of Nigeria to obtain a tourist visa for the U.S. than for Canada,” Stephane Handfield, an immigration lawyer in Montreal, said. “So they get a U.S. tourist visa, stay a few days in the U.S. and cross the Canadian border.”

Asylum seekers in Canada
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police said more than 25,000 people were intercepted as they crossed from the US since January 2017 to March 2018.

Responding to query by Per Second News, the Canadian Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship office, said that although a Canadian official has been sent to work with US visa officials in Lagos on three separate occasions and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Minister Ahmed Hussen met with Nigerian government officials last month, it is important to note that Canadian authorities are not interfering or involved in decisions regarding the issuance of US visas.

“The U.S. is responsible for each decision that is made on whether to issue or not a visa. At the highest levels, both Canada and the United States have reaffirmed their determination to work together to combat abuse of US travel documents. This is part of the mutual long term cooperation between USA and Canada to protect our borders, said Nancy Caron, spokesperson for the Canadian immigration in an email to Per Second News.

“The Government of Canada continues to expand its overall outreach efforts to inform people and provide the facts about Canada’s asylum system by working closely with our missions in the U.S., by engaging with communities in the U.S. and issuing messages on social media channels in both Canada and the U.S. to provide accurate information.”

“The Government of Canada is committed to orderly migration, which includes providing protection to genuine refugees based on a well-founded fear of persecution, she told this newspaper on Monday.

” The government is unwavering in its commitment to ensuring the safety of Canadians, protecting our well-managed immigration system and fulfilling our international obligations. Minister Hussen has been clear that Canada’s asylum system is intended solely for those in need of our protection and it must be done through the proper channels. Entering Canada by irregularly crossing the border is not a free ticket to stay, each claim is heard by the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB) and unsuccessful claimants are removed to their country of origin.”

The Canadian immigration also revealed that there have been no visa policy changes for Nigerian nationals.

” Visa applications are considered on a case-by-case basis based on the information presented by the applicant. The onus is on the applicant to show that they meet the requirements for a temporary resident visa (TRV). All applications from around the world are assessed equally against the same criteria. Canada does not limit the number of temporary resident visa applications that are accepted from any country.

All these are stories, refuser and delay tactics is not the best method to reduce the numbers of Nigerians. @galala123 applied 6 times before his visa was approved, sometimes I ask myself why will cic suffer someone like that just because of visa.

Dear May, June and July applicant who has their eligibility review started .. it is evident that the security Check and criminality checks been passed.. just eligibility review should start with the VO... so let’s pray and be hopeful and believe that the VO sleeping on our files will respond
The online route for now has been transferred to Kenya but for applicants who submitted in May, June, July and August we don't know if they also transferred them to Kenya or has been assigned to various V.Os in London before now, why the silence from London concerning application that's what we don't know. Can two different processing centre work on a route at the same time?

Long post.

God has been faithful to me this year.here is my little story.

It all started last yr after graduating from Uni, i was thinking of d next step to take. traveling abroad has been a dream for me and it seems study visa is d best way to migrate to anoda country at least for my level.

So i started making my research on how to study in various countries like the England, Scotland, wales, canada etc. due to d high tuition fee in the UK nd their policy of students returning home immediately after studies, i just cancelled UK from my list den i focused more on Canada. luckily for me i got a school, i applied and i was given admission this yr February 9th. I also stumbled on this wonderful thread which really helped me tru my application process.

so, on March 6 this yr i applied tru paper route, i try my very best to put in a good application with the help i got here, unfortunately i got a rejection mail on the 29th of march. From d Nairobi DEMONS. stating their normal (they are not satisfied wit my travel history, purpose of visit).

I was really devastated, Immediately i order for my GCMS note to really knw the reasons for my refusal,i got d note bt it seems it is still d same reasons.

I was planning to re-apply again with more force. then a guy posted on this thread how he got Germany study visa. after several rejection from Canada, his testimony really got my attention, den i started following up the German thread from d previous part. so i was very lucky so many schools wer still up for winter ( which is oct) application, so i applied to 4 schools in Germany. (may 27th)

Well i don't want to miss out this year o. then in June 11 i got my first admission from one of the schools i applied, immediately, i book for interview in d German consulate and i got Aug 16th as my interview date.

In June 14th i submitted a second application in Canada, this tym tru online route. did my biometric on d 22nd of June, den i started to wait ooooooo. I waited August 16th came, i went for my German interview nd it was so so successful. well i was till hoping on cic to update me but nothing came up.

By September 5th, i got approval mail from th German embassy without funding my block account. then i say to myself God really want me to go to Germany o. i was still waiting for for cic to update me but nothing came up.

well to cut the long story short, i later funded my block account and my Germany student visa was issued.

i was not happy the way canada handle their applications,i hav to apply for withdrawal from cic last week but i haven't still here from them.

So d good news is that i will b going to Germany very soon.

while my cic is still processing only God knw wen those pipo go make decision, lol.

While i posted this long story, is to encourage many of people here, who hav gotten rejection from cic mostly from d Nairobi *D*. plz don't giv up on ur dream of traveling abroad for studies. try nd search oda countries u might b lucky.

so many pipo hav applied to cic more than 3 times and still get rejected, even after putting in a very nice application.

don't give up.

I am very grateful to dat guy who posted his testimony here which gave me d idea abt Germany.

i posted this here to encourage sum1 in this thread.

When one door closes, well dat is not d ryt door.

bliv me they are so many things bhind my success story but d key factor is dat tru out d process from the beginning of diz year i hav been praying so so hard, and thank God it ended in praise.

thanks to all d ogas
Frankrobben, jYunwa. mekano nd d rest. u guys hav really been helpful. make God grant u ur heart desires.

It is my prayer that those still waiting for cic, will get a positive reply.

God bless you all.
Congratulations dear.........Is my prayer that Germany will favour you in Jesus Name

@jnyuwa I have been seeing your comments on this forum for a long time now, before and after I got my approval, but chose to mind my business. I did not mention you in my comment, yet you chose to antagonize me. You are one to say someone is on a high horse, when all you've done here is exude irritating pride. I believe those who knew you on this thread as at last year can also attest to this, and we know you suddenly became 'humble' because of the over 1 year timeline on your application.

I have seen you deceive a lot of people on this thread with your lies! Enough with that already! Please, stop coming to lie on this thread.

I've done my in-depth research on you and your files are very readily accessible online. Well, nothing in the Western world is hidden. All the court cases you've had, motions filed, and those dismissed. I've read your files! You're one heck of a case! And you've come here severally to deceive people that you never had issues in the US and you are 'clean as a saint'. Please, stop deceiving people on this thread! "Mr. J.A.N." aka jnyuwa
If you have any issue with Jnyuwa forgive and forget.
