Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose, has advised Ghanaians not to vote for change as they head to the polls to vote for their next president on December 7th. In a statement released by his media aide, Lere Olayinka, Fayose said Nigerians voted for change in 2015 and are currently in hunger, suffering and economic recession. He made the call when he played host to some men of God from Gahana at the state house in Ado-Ekiti. The statement in part reads.
“By buying into the All Progressives Congress (APC) message of change, Nigerians are now facing a kind of hunger and suffering never experienced in the country in the last 30 years and Ghanaians must not fall into that kind of trap. Ghanaians should not succumb to the deceit of the opposition party that are calling for a change of government. Rather, they should return the incumbent President, John Mahama, who has no doubt done creditably well to deserve a re-election.
Ghanaians should know that the change in Nigeria brought hunger, suffering, disregard for the rule of law as well as arrest and detention of Nigerians without trial and be mindful of those preaching change to them. Most importantly, the situation in Ghana at present is similar to that of Nigeria.
Like President Mohammadu Buhari, opposition party, New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo has contested the presidency two times. This is the third time he is contesting. He is also 74 year-old. In Nigeria, change is synonymous with economic recession that is even getting to the level of depression.
When majority of those who brought the change are now regretting it. Tell your people in Ghana that Nigerians are already regretting the change they made last year, which has plunged the country into serious economic hardship.
Tell them to learn from Nigerians and reject those preaching message of change to them. They should hold on to the government that they have now and beware of a change that will take their country to economic recession.”

Olamide is definitely one of the most successful record label owners in Nigeria and he recently announced the signing of a new artist to his YBNL label.
The YBNL Boss signed Davolee some days ago and this video of himself freestyling with his boss has surfaced online. Davolee is straight fire. Watch the video below:
Yani Williams from the US is about to break a record due to her 26 inch long fingernails. She had reportedly been growing these nails for 23 years and according to her, painting them can be a challenge.
Another activity that is difficult, according to her, is driving. She has also been asked how she uses the toilet.
She said in one interview; “Usually I just tell them like if you go to the restroom in public you don’t sit on the toilets. That’s the way I do at home because my nails are so long.”
She says it takes her about a week to paint them as each fingernail is between 26-26.5 inches long. Since she is interested in holding a world record, she still has a long way to go. The record is currently being held by Christine Walton whose nails are 19ft and 1inch long.
The woman with the longest nails ever (at over 28ft long) is Lee Redmond but she lost them to a car accident in 2009. When asked what her motivation is, she says, “It’s for my grandchildren more than anything. So they can have something to look back on and say this is my grammy.”
How far would you go just to be a world record holder?
This extremely sad incident happened this morning at Mile 2 junction Lagos. A lady's legs were crushed when a container fell on her as she was about boarding a bike on the road. According to a LIB eye witness, the bike man managed to escape but the lady tripped while trying to run, and the container fell on her legs. People came to her rescue and when they couldn't figure out how to take the very heavy container off her, they decided to cut off her legs with a cutlass. The lady died as she was being rushed to the hospital. Up close of the horrific scene of incident after the cut...
Ace comedian, Julius Agwu who has been off social media for twelve weeks, took to his IG account to share a photo today, which was however taken down minutes after. This was not before his fans began to wish him well after speculating that the photo was taken from his hospital bed.
Last year, it could be recalled that the comedian underwent a successful brain surgery to remove the lumps found in his brain.
This is heartbreaking! The photo was shared by Facebook user, Aishat Alubankudi, who called on members of the National Assembly to enact a law that would stop the practice in Nigeria.

A top London-based newspaper, African Voice, has honoured a member of the House of Representatives, Abdulmumin Jibrin, with African Voice Leadership in Legislative Governance Awards 2016 for his commitment to legislative duties and fight against corruption in Nigeria.
Mr. Jibrin was recently suspended by the House of Representatives for accusing Speaker Yakubu Dogara, Deputy Speaker Yusuf Lasun, Chief Whip Alhassan Doguwa, Minority Leader Leo Ogor and a few other members of monumental fraud in the 2016 budget.
In a letter signed by the Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper, Mike Abiola, the paper described Mr. Jibrin as a deserving recipient of the award. "The African Voice Leadership in Governance Awards recognises African leaders who have shown dedication to developing their State/countries, by demonstrating exemplary leadership."
"The attention of the international community has been drawn to your commitment to the people of Nigeria and Kano State in particular. Your effort in helping to eradicate corruption is commendable" "The 20th African Voice Newspaper Leadership in Legislative Governance Awards Investiture ceremony will take place on Saturday 5 November, 2016 and will be attended by Foreign & Commonwealth Officials, African diplomats in the UK, British Politicians, Members of Parliament and influential business leaders" "The event has a dedicated followership of high net worth individuals and the crème de crème of the British diverse community," the letter added. Speaking after the award held at the Banqueting Venue, London on Saturday, the lawmaker thanked the newspaper for finding him worthy of the award.
"Thank you African Voice Newspaper for this award. The award is a huge morale booster because it is coming at a very difficult and challenging period. It's a period I had to leave my post as Appropriation chairman of the House of Representatives, suspended through subterranean means by Speaker Yakubu Dogara and received several threats to my life by the highly placed public officials I accused of corruption. "My offence is disagreeing with some corrupt leaders of the House including the Speaker over the 2016 budget fraud and insisting that the right thing must be done, exposing individual and systemic corruption in the House and rejecting immunity for Principal officers of the House. "Despite the difficulties I am going through, I will never be cowed to silence. I asure you I will never retreat from this worthy line of action. I shall remain committed to the fight against corruption in the House of Representatives and Nigeria as a whole.
"I dedicate this award to millions of Nigerians home and abroad who are suffering today because of the massive theft of our common wealth, budget fraud and monumental corruption in the House of Representatives which assumed an unprecedented dimension under the leadership of Speaker Yakubu Dogara," Mr. Jibrin added. In case you are wondering how much Davido makes every week, the singer has answers for you. Ahead of his 24th birthday, the singer revealed he makes $100,000 ( N47,000,000) every week in a Snapchat photo he shared with his fans.

Reuben Abati, detained former presidential spokesman, has made a U-turn barely a week after offering to refund N5 million out of N50 million he allegedly received from Sambo Dasuki, former national security adviser.
This follows a report on Premium Times that the former president Goodluck Jonathan’s spokesman on Thursday, November 3, told the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) that he does not have any money to refund to the government.
According to sources within the agency, Abati told interrogators that he had no immediate means of sourcing the amount for which he is being detained. One of the source told Premium Times: “We thought he would be able to pay N5 million yesterday, but it turned out that he doesn’t have any money.” Another source also disclosed that Abati had met his bail conditions since Friday, but the EFCC had refused to release him.
Recall that the EFCC had on October 26 granted Abati an administrative bail, and required as one of the conditions for his release, a surety of the level of director in the federal civil service.
And according to the source, those conditions were met on Friday, October 28, but the EFCC failed to release him because of the stalemate over the N50 million.
However, it was gathered that EFCC spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, is yet to make a comment on the Abati meeting the anti-graft bail conditions as at the time of filing this report.
Abati has been in EFCC detention since turning himself in last week Monday, October 24.
The EFCC is accusing Abati of receiving N50 million from Dasuki, an allegation which he confessed to. The money was part of $2.1 billion allocated for purchase of arms for the fight against Boko Haram.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxuSE2BbEcQ Apart from being unable to refund the money, Abati also allegedly told investigators that he could not provide documentary evidence showing how he spent the N50 million.
Abati reportedly said he disbursed the money as cash and material gifts to journalists during the 2015 campaign.
Asked to name names of media practitioners who benefited from the largess, Abati said he did not keep such records.
