Better it's done in 6 regions. There is no way Tinubu can secure up to a thousand vote if it was the turn of Yorubas and he is contesting against a seasoned technocrats. He is a druggie they all know. He is old and suffer dementia. Those who ralied behind him are just tribalists who don't care about the country for so long as their tribesman is in charge. Tinubu would not have even won primaries.

The same goes for Buhari lack of criticism from the north. As for Peter Obi, Igbo people will always rally behind him anytime anyday.
Especially the ordinary Igbos in the streets.
Igbo people will always rally behind someone they themselves called a failure after his 8 years tenure as governor without any visible legacy? And the current state of Anambra State he governed is a testimony? And that is not tribalism? But Yoruba people should not rally behind Tinubu who transformed his state within same 8 years and have produced a lot of great leaders in the country? His state is still the best state in the country today where even all Anambra indigines are running to. Supporting a tested and trusted achiever is tribalism? What Igbos will cause in this country grin

Never has an election in Nigeria brought such anger. Even Buhari who was a serial court customer after each presidential election never vrought widespread anger and disdain as Tinubu who supposedly won the presidential election.

INEC chairman made a huge mistake. Since Tinubu won by roughly 2m votes, Yakubu Mahmood should have listened to the grievances, sorted then amicably and still declared Tinubu as winner. But ordering all the complainants to go to court was quite arrogant. And to cap it off, he sneaked in at about 4am to declare the the winner.

Professor Jega carried himself with more dignity than Mahmood. He, Mahmood, is a big reason people distrust the process.

As for the DSS (actually SSS) , let me not speak my mind. Hopefully this organisation is purified in the days to come.

If chasing igbo away is what made Chinedu lost Lagos. That actually confirms the accusation that the Igbos want to decide the future of their host in their own land. Peter Obi is not your common politician, he will widen all the puntured holes in your useless party and your INEC. It’s just a matter of time.
The election was not rigged. Some electoral malpractices recorded in some place is not unexpected and definately not enough to discredit the whole election. This election is the best so far judging from the surprising results which showed that power has gone off political structures and back to the poeple. Even if u give the whole Lagos, Rivers and Imo votes to Obi, it won't still make him have the majority votes and 25% national spread. That is the fucking truth. APC won bcs PDP share votes between 3 people. It was expected and predicted even before the election. You people should stop heating the polity unnecessarily and learn lesson for next election.

Yoruba Woman is the sole senator representing FCT. That's what it is and the indigenous population ain't complaining.

Here we have Yorubas, fighting their own just because the mother is Igbo. Lagos was the FCT for a reason. Anybody irrespective of Tribe should be able to aspire to be the number 1 citizen of the state.

Anyways Tinubu and his dirty noisy minions are in the minority. Sensible Yorubas are more in number.

GRV for a progressive Lagos state.
The difference is this. Yorubas are quietly living their lives in Abuja, no Yoruba calling Abuja no man's land, if not that woman wouldn't have made it. There are so many Igbos in Lagos in house of Assembly, house of Rep, local government chairmen and counsellors. That tells u Lagos is even more accommodating and tolerant that Abuja. Igbos are over reaching their boundaries. They want to produce a governor. Habba. Yorubas don't try this in their host domain, including South East. Yorubas are not fools, they are just been liberal. Tinubu can't relate

He rigged his way in
That is a testimony that Yoruba people are more liberal, enlightened, objective, and open-minded, and not religious or tribal bigots like other regions whose sons were in the elections. For him not to even expect a single vote against him in his region in a national election shows he expects his people to use tribal consideration above any other criteria, but in the same spirit expect other region to reject their own son. This is double standard and I'm not surprised, that's what Igbo people are known for.

Gbadebo is a true Lagosian and not an immigrants like Sanwolu. He is the most qualified to be governor of Lagos state. For long Lagosians have been sidelined to one corner and scavengers from Ogun and Other part of SW have been syphoning the resources and wealth of Lagos. The money Tinubu has stollen from Lagos no true Lagosians have made such in his or her 100yrs on earth.

The good news is that true Lagosians have the opportunity to reclaim their state back from all this immigrants rascals from SW by supporting one of their own Gbadebo of LP or continued slaving away to this rascals from neighbouring SW state. Reclaiming back your state does not make you guys less Yoruba neither those it make you guys Igbo apologies as this rascals immigrants from SW had made you believe over the years. For it is the right thing to do by reclaiming back your state and governing your state. Lagosains, it is time to begin to put on your thinking cap. For example, there are also large percentage of Igbos in Ogun state. They live happily with their Yoruba brothers. Now a quick thought, why are they not fighting them in Ogun? If truly Igbos want to take SW, why are they not bothered about them in Ogun and other SW states as they do in Lagos. Yea, your guess is correct. It's simply because they want to continue to govern your state and continue to steal from the rich resources of Lagos. They knew very well that the Igbo man always vote competent leader who understood ecomony very well and who will create an enabling environment for businesses to strive. That's the only reason they fight against the Igbos in Lagos. They see the Igbos as a threat to achieve their demonic aim which is to syphon Lagos wealth to themselves.

To the true Lagosians, you now have the power and opportunity to correct this years of stealing, intimidations and ethnic blindfolding in your land by voting your own son Gbadebo of LP as governor or continue to be govern by criminals from Ogun, Osun, and Oyo while turning your own royal father's, the Oba of Lagos to mere puppet and political and ethnic bullying, your eligible sons to govern to outcasts and your children children to touts. Don't be deceived be wise, Igbos are not your problem, Igbos have been respectful and helping to develop your state and also helping you true Lagosians reclaim back your state. The ball to reclaim back your state is now on your court.
It is Igbo that is so much concern about real lagosians claiming their land from other immigrant Yorubas. This love so pure. Wonderment grin

I like those issues u raised and they actually settle this argument well. Gbagyi or Abuja people have also had several face off with the Igbos, firstly in Igbos demand to be considered for the post of FCT Minister, bcs they claim they are the ones holding together Abuja economy and secondly in the widely reported several fights in Abuja Igbo dominated markets. It is your dominating attitude over your host that is creating all these problems for you. Other tribes don't try to dominate u in your space.
Then, you don't hear about Yorubas being threatened to leave SE bcs they are good tenants. They don't go beyond their boundaries, they will never demand for what can upset the little hospitality they are enjoying from their host. They don't abuse their hosts and desecrate the place tagging Igbo land, no man's land. Hausaa have also at several times issued evacuation notice to Igbos in their land, owing to all these "we develop the place, so it is our own" mentality. If Yorubas in Igboland try half of what u guys are trying here in SW, all the Yorubas there would have been banished into river Niger over the night. After the civil war bcs most of u are children and need to be taught history. The Igbos took solace in the Yoruba lands. They were absorbed by our kings and leaders all for one Nigeria. They came in droves to Lagos and other cities in SW. They were given open arms, allowed without boundaries to live among our people, do their businesses, buy and own properties, marry our children, even given chance to hold elective positions and political appointments without check. By the time they have reached a particular strength, they began to flex muscle with their host, trying to dictate her politics and future. Habba, what u can never try in the SE.
