When Gen mohammed buhari was military head of state his deputy was the action man himself Tunde Idiagbon. Idiagbon was the defacto head of state as he was more active, more vocal than Buhari. During the regime of buhari/idiagbon there was high level of discipline in the public service and other sectors, corruption was minimal thanks to kai. until maradona struck and ousted the regime. Now Buhari wants to be the president but on a civilian platform with a civilian deputy Tunde Bakare a no nonsense man, a pastor, highly disciplined person, fearless and courageous(reminds me of Tunde idiagbon). I believe buhari acted the way he did when he was head of state because he was still in the military with a military deputy. But a civilian Buhari as president with a civilian deputy(Tunde Bakare) under a civilian democratic constitution i think would be good for this corruption state Nigeria . Looking at Buhari performance as a military head of state he didnt do so bad thanks to his highly disciplined deputy Tunde Idiagbon. And i believe with another highly discliplined Tunde by his side on a civilian platform he would do better. Am not a fan of Buhari but i am just tired of Goodluck Jonathan and his weak and confusion filled style of leadership, i just think we should give Buhari a chance but not under that Tinubu APC. Buhari should better contest under his party CPC. God bless Nigeria.
