I have worked in a hospital free for one year. it was hell. If I had no background support, it would have been worse than hell

I still bought food in the hospital to eat well to cope with the heavy workload, I still bought airtime and data to call medical colleagues and superiors on work.relater issues, I still bought internet data to update my knowledge.I still paid mechanics for vehicle repairs. I still bought drinking water to quench my thirst. I still bought detergent to wash my clothes.
A workman deserves the pay for his.labour and skill. Even Medical School in.Nigeria and USA is not free of charge. School fees are paid

No land lord would give You free house rent free because You are a medical pracititioner. No filling stations give Doctors free fuel. No food seller gives Doctors free food. No me hanic gives Doctors free car repair services or free car parts. No tailor gives Doctors free ward coats. The biro the doctor uses to write is bought and paid for

So wise up and face reality.

Medicine probably has one of the most stringent conduct & ethics standards of any profession. It is hammered into the student's head from day 1.

Sure, doctors are human too and a few will deviate from the right path. But that's a very minuscule number.

If you do not tolerate a doctor's undue romantic attention, he will soon adjust himself.

I need to say that the average doctor doesn't have serious problems getting a nice woman.

In fact more often than not, a doc has to beware of female attention.

There are a few exceptions but most doctors don't have time . At work, I once saw a pretty female teenager who came to the hospital consulting room to complain of some medical issues in her private womanly area and wanted me a male to examine her womanliness, I told her a female nurse or female doctor has to be present with Me if I am to examine her womanliness and I wanted to call one
She strongly refused me calling a female doctor or female nurse to be present when I am examining her. She insisted that She wants only me a male to examine her womanliness and she started asking Me if I am married or if I am an intimacy addict.
I told her no, but that those questions are not necessary. She then threatened and said If I called any female doctor or nurse to follow me and examine her, She would not allow me treat her. I told her that then a female doctor would be the one to attend to her as I cannot examine her womanliness alone without a female doctor or Nurse present.

I quickly called a female doctor from another office to treat her and left her with the female doctor alone in the office.
She was looking for whatever but I had no time when other people) patients needed to be attended to.

Many females come to the hospital and want male doctors to examine their womanly parts without calling a female nurse or female doctor or female hospital staff to be present. There are a few bad egg medical doctors but majority don't have time

I saw the loan terms of a loan company with the name that is the name of 1 sheet of a book


It was so horrible. The terms are

1) They can change the interest at will every month so they can increase the Interest rate every month as they choose

2) They will deduct an adminstration fee before giving you the loan. They will not tell you the administration fee either in percentage or amount so you can decide to say no if you feel the administration fee is too much.
Example Mr A borrows 20 naira and maybe 5 naira was deducted as loan administration fees, by the sham loan compay leaving Mr A with 15 naira as the loan amount collected;
Mr A will still pay interest on the 20 naira instead of 15 naira he collected
Mr A would not be told how much exactly would be deducted as admin fees before the loan would be given because if Mr A knew, he might not agree with such terms and might not take the loan

The 15 naira Mr A collects instead of 20 naira might not be enough for what he wants to do and so the loan mightl be insufficient for the purpose he wants to use it

3) The loan repayment date was set at 28th of the Month of which most employers do not pay salaries by the 28th the Month and not repaying the loan installment on that date attracts higher interest rate so the loan company puts a date they know you will not likely get paid so they get higher interest


Please don't make mistake. For exampleYou can request to borrow 10000, receive 7000 after administration fees have ben removed before you see any cash and end up paying 20000

I am a bit worried because I have a very annoying cough that won't just go.

It started when I fell ill around March 2017. I had severe malaria that lead to transfusion of blood because I was told my platelets was very low.

I stayed 5 days on admission and ever since I was discharged, the cough has refused to go till today 2019.

Last night got really bad for me because I coughed all throughout the night. It gets worse when I lie down.

I have used several medications both local and tablets. I must add that I work in an environment that we must turn on the AC and I cannot sleep without using my ceiling fan. For the past 5 days, I always wake up by 2-3pm and I find it hard to sleep back.

Any idea what I can do?
