BusinessRe: Shoptomydoor Scammer Or Not?. by Laird(m): 8:40pm On Jan 10, 2019
For the company to return and refund your money, it is not a scam so take down that false and misleading Headline.

Better to say is so so and so company reliable in ordered deliveries than create a false headline scandalizing the company

Bro, If you've never taken a loan before why then do you think all what you said here are correct?

Our interest rates do not change, They are clearly stated in the offer letter which is signed by the customer, deduction each month is clearly seen in the offer letter, there is nothing hidden about it.

Before you collect a loan your statement of account is first analyzed to know if you are even qualified for the loan or if you can get your desired amount, the time your salary comes in etc

Every thing is clearly stated in the offer letter and shown to the customer, every process is Transparent. You didn't say a correct thing in your post, Please do contact me or Page customer Care for clarifications.

Thanks.
Please I would not be drawn into an exchange of words. I have a copy of your loan agreement which the terms are spelt in Black and white.

Your Loan terms of agreement are exactly as I described them . I even have a soft copy of your loan agreement on my phone. You can choose to go legal if you feel so. Going to Court will only bring out your organisation's unethical loan conditions.

I have read Page financial terms of agreement which I find to be one-sided, illegal, distasteful, dishonest and entrapping.

Some of the terms are

1. Interest rates can change at will at page financial's request.
So interest rate can jump from 3.5 percent to 5 percent the next month just with a letter from the lender.....Can you imagine grin

2. A one day default in monthly repayment can lead to the whole total money being owed being asked for ........They like to put monthly loan repayment dates on the 28th of the month when Most Nigerian employers have not paid salaries so people will default on the payment dates and they can increase interest rates grin

3.The money lender Page has the right to change terms and conditions at will when the borrower is not in default or breach of contract....Can you imagine shocked

4. The company does not state the exact figure or the exact percentage that would be deducted from the Loan amount as admin charges before giving you the loan. The so called Page lender does not tell you what their admin charges are in exact figures So I take a loan I don't know how much will be deducted as Admin Charges so I don't know if I will accept the admin charges or not
I don't know the exact loan figure I will get when admin charges are deducted . How dishonest
For someone borrowing 200 thousand to pay 289 thousand may be given 150000 as 50ooo might be deducted as hidden Admin charges before the loan is released and he will pay interest on the 200 thousand instead of the 150000 cash he got after deduction of undiclosed hidden admin fee
shocked
Page Finance loan is a trap. Besides paperwork is needed . Your bank account details will be scrutinized and your employers details will be gotten

From their terms and conditions, I conclude you can
request to borrow 50000, get 35000_40000 as cash after deduction of hidden admin fee and end up paying 85-150 k tongue

Be ware

NB; I have never taken a loan from Page financials

Why I am saying £600 is that a friend of mine that has three kids, one is six, four and the last one is two years, she employed this lady that came from Nigeria as visiting visa, she was so lucky the lady is very good to the kids, she does the cleaning of the living room, kitchen, inface her house is always neat, she help to arrange the kids cloths neatly in the hi take them out, bath, dress and take the four years old girl to school, infact the lady is too much, she even work atimes on Saturday but guess what my friend pays her, only £600. So I was supprised.that is why I am asking. The lady lives in her house. I think why she is paying her that is that the nanny doesn't have paper to work. Even my friend told me that most people in London still pay from £700-£500
I won't advice you to employ an illegal and pay below minimum wage. The moral issues, the possible legal and immigration issues if the government finds out. Just do the right thing , obey the law and avoid trouble

FamilyRe: Please This Might Concern You... by Laird(m): 5:06am On Dec 26, 2018
My opinion having used some vehicles 3 precisely

If one has to work.with a cost effective car buying budget
Most so called tokunboh cars sold in Nigeria are accidented Scrap written off cars abroad bought cheap as write offs and sent to Nigeria where the cars are patched up and repaired shoddily and sold as Tokunboh to buyers who then buy and start repairing and replacing parts incurring more cost

My current vehicle of 5 years bought Tokunboh, I have changed the radiator fan, the power steering rack, the gear box, brain box, worked on the A.C before the Car could be fit to be stable
. To me, it is more cost efficient to buy a Naija used car and spend money painting, replacing parts and accessories to your taste
The dealer selling the scrap reworked Tokunboh car most times to maximize profit will patch up and repair car parts instead of outrightly changing the car parts that need to be changed and might even use a low quality coat of paint
When my leaking power steering box was changed for 20k after 1 year of Car Use, I found out that the power steering box that was originally in my bought Tokunboh car was worked, patched up and repaired by the seller instead of being outrightly changed.

If I want to buy a used car in Naija with my experience, I will prefer to buy a Lower priced cheaper Nigerian used Car and use the balance to repair and paint the car to.my taste and change and put quality parts in the Car to my taste

Than buy and still begin to repair a More expensive sold scrap patched up Tokunboh care that I will still spend money changing parts the dealer patched up and repaired

The Car dealer or the Car deliverer also removed the Car amplifier when.the car was delivered to me in another state forgetting I had seen the Car amplifier when the car was being inspected and paid for in Lagos as the car was inspected and paid for in Lagos of which I personally inspected the car at the car dealer's showroom lot in Lagos but the car was driven and delivered to Me in another state I was based in then

CrimeRe: Money Lender Who Uses 'Juju' To Make Victims Unable Pay Back, Finally Caught by Laird(m):
No charm Here....If Not how come the charm did not protect him from the CROWD

How can someone borrow Money to Repay 96 percent per month. That is almost x 11 the amount in a year...that is borrow 5k to pay 55k

That is Foolishness. It is not charm or juju or jazz. His fake charm could not protect him from the CROWD.

Peoplw should know that Loans taken is borrowed money which is meant to be repaid. People rush and take loans without calculating if they can repay the INTEREST
I even turned down a Loan Because I didn't like the terms and conditions despite the loan company calling Me to convince Me to take the loan
HealthRe: Man Dies After Being 'Abandoned' By Hospital As Doctors Waited For Alert. Photos by Laird(m):
theoldpretender:
I am a doctor.

I have worked in several hospitals over the years, including one hospital which had financial issues because people won't pay their bills, another hospital where patient left with a debt running into thousands of naira that up till today has not been paid, and so on

I have, and no I am not boasting...paid for patients out of my salary. Of course, i don;t do that...it impacted on my pocket seriously.

I also don't wait foralert before treating patients.

But the thing is, if patients don't pay on time, hospitals won't be able to function well enough, retain staff, and keep facilities up properly. And when standards fall, patients get hurt.

So, sorry, but there is another side to this story. The funding side.

(And yes, this also happens in developed countries. One homeless man in the USA used to get free treatment in a US hospital's emergency room. Then they stopped...because doing such..treating poor people like him.... left the hospital with a debt of $250million).

Health is not cheap.
As a Medic I work 2 jobs ( one full time, one weekend part time and both jobs have their separate timetables and job schedules and do not clash)and I am even looking to get a 3rd job. Currently I work almost 7 days a week currently
Why; To pay.my bills

Doctors buy the same drugs you buy from the same pharmacy.
Doctors pay for fuel or bus, bike, keke orairplane transport fares
Doctors pay the same rent you pay
Doctors buy the same food you buy
Doctors buy from the same market You buy
Private Hospitals pay Medical taxes, medical waste disposal fees, water bills , electricity , diesel.bills , salaries
Private hospitals pay for Medicines from the suppliers

Doctors pay Medical Licence fees every Year...Even to work as a Doctor, You have to pay a Yearly Licence fee to professional medical bodies who do little.or nothing to enforce for Doctors welfare than Generate Money for themselves

Medical School fees is not cheap either

I have stabilized and treated emergency patients whose relatives start quarreling about the hospital bill when.the patient became better. Some patients even leave the HOSPITAL without PAYING for drugs and materials WHICH WERE NOT GIVEN FREE TO THE PRIVATE HOSPITAL FROM SUPPLIERS but paid for

What is the solution for emergencies;

Ask Your government for Free government ambulances and FREE well equipped well staffed government Hospital emergency intensive care units with all the needed Specialist doctors and surgeons, Equipment, good drugs and electricity. All Paid for from Your Taxes or Your States Government Allocation or Internally Generated revenue

As a Medic, I went to buy More Expensive Branded Pain killers for My Mum from a pharmacy.

I paid about 4 times the Price of the Unbranded Painkiller for the Branded Painkiller...... GUESS WHAT THE PHARMACY DID NOT COLLECT ONE KOBO LESS FROM THE MONEY. AND I PAID IN FULL BEFORE I WAS GIVEN THE DRUGS TO GO WITH

IF THE GOVERNMENT HAD FUNCTIONAL FREE EMERGENCY STABILISATION CLINICS WITHIN EVERY ONE KILOMETER, THE GUY WOULD HAVE BEEN RUSHED THERE AND HIS CHANCES OF SURVIVAL WOULD HAVE BEEN HIGHER

IN THE UK, GOVERNMENT EMERGENCY SERVICES WOULD HAVE BEEN CALLED TO COME AND PICK HIM UP WITH GOVERNMENT AMBULANCE AND PROPER STAFF AND TO TAKE HIM TO AN EMERGENCY INTENSIVE CARE UNIT IN A STANDARD GOVERNMENT HOSPITAL.

SO. BLAME THE GOVERNMENT, THE STAB INJURY WOULD HAVE EVEN REQUIRED AN EMERGENCY CARE UNIT
