Car TalkRe: Volvo Makes Plans For An Electric Vehicle by Laird(m): 7:31am On Apr 25, 2017
Crude oil is going extinct

If that happens; Corrupt Nigerian politicians will.have to depend on increasing over bearing taxies and levies on over burdened citizens resulting in more business closures, more people taking their money out of the Country and Nigeria becoming worse as a failed state.
Infrastructure decay, lack of justice and lack of Security of Life and property , misappropriation and misutilization of public funds, Individual and collective greed, selfishness and corruption will be the Final stroke that might kill.Nigeria

PoliticsRe: How Sacked Pencom Boss Got In Trouble With Buhari by Laird(m): 1:33pm On Apr 24, 2017
RipplesNigeria:
More facts have emerged on why the Presidency, relieved the Director General of National Pension Commission (PenCom), Mrs. Chinelo Anohu-Amazu, and other commissioners, of their position, even as a crisis is said to be brewing in the pension’s office over the relief of its boss.
A senior management staff, who would not want to be named said, the insistence of the management team, led by Amazu, that government should not borrow the N3.5 trillion pension contribution funds for other uses, was the real reason for dissolving the management team, which still has one year to go.
He said on more than three occasion, in 2016, officials from the Ministry of Finance, Budget Office and Debt Management Office, approached the board and management of PenCom on the desire of government to utilize the pension contributory funds, now about N3.5 trillion to run the 2016 budget, and which is to be refunded after the loan facilities it is expecting from the international institutions come through.
“But on each of such meeting, the management would draw attention of the officials to the law establishing the Commission, which makes it unlawful to divert any part of the contributory funds to other uses.

If the above quoted post is 100 percent true with no addition nor subtractiontrue, The Ex Pension Dg should be commended for saying and doing the right thing because People's pension might be mismanaged by the Government and maybe not repaid

I appreciate the Made in Aba Campaign, patronize Nigerian products, Create jobs , keep the Money within the Country... Its all good

BUT BUT

Nigerian producers should make fine product designs and styles; Hyundai and Kia cars were once Ugly but are now beautiful to behold. Packaging is a strategy

1) 85% water

2) AK sugar , paltry, but extremely sweet, 8% sugar, from Dangote

3) 3% skin milk powder, very cheap , mostly from Malaysia or Ukraine. 2% cowbell milk.

4) the other 2% , all kinds of man made flavors, citric acid, which is replaced by the poisonous new ingredient, CMC, which is to make it taste like "silk".....
I believe this post 100 percent. As a health care Professional, I am aware of the Toxic and Poisonous substances Chinese put in their food products including one milk substitute that was killing Babies in China.
Chinese are major criminals and the world's largest Criminal Organization is the Triad's in China
During the last political regime, A lot of Chinese were caught taking Undeclared physical Cash millions of dollars out of Nigeria at the Airport.
Now I think they have improved their money Repatriation skills by just Buying Raw materials in Nigeria like Timber, Donkey skin and shipping or sending the raw materials to China for Chinese raw material buyers to pay them In China

Most are rascist and treat Blacks with dismay. Even in China, African men married to Chinese women with Children and good businesses and honest means of living are not given Permanent residency or Citizenship by the Chinese Government. But Chinese are all over Nigeria and Africa
Chinese also like to cut corners even in China talk less of Nigeria where most Government Officials care about getting bribes and kickbacks than enforcing rules and providing service

Ghana is much neater and more organised than Nigeria

Ghanian roads are neater and in much better shape than most Nigerian roads

Ghanians are friendly and don't disturb You and mind their business if You don't look for their trouble

Ghana is far more expensive to buy things than in Nigeria; food, drinks, airtime , transport, services cost almost double the Nigerian price

Some of Nigerian.products like indomie noodles are popular in Ghana

Transport fare from Ghana to Lagos is more expensive than Transport fare from Lagos to Ghana so if You are planning a very short trip or journey from Lagos to Ghana, just buy Your going and return to and fro ticket at the same time in Nigeria to save money

A lot of Naija people are in Ghana

Police in Ghana are more calm, more respectful and more professional than Nigerian police

Transport.fare ABC,, budget 19 thousand five hundred with Naija or ecowas passport, 22 thousand without passport but You must have an I.D card like National I.D card or Voters card

It is cheaper buying and paying for Your Ghana to Lagos return ticket fee in Nigeria than buying or paying in Ghana

You will reach in the Night either from Lagos to Ghana or Ghana to Lagos

If You don't have Yellow card for vaccine , pay 2000 and get it at the Border when Officials ask You, You will still need to show the Yellow card when travelling back at the Border on Your return trip

Don't follow small car or small taxi, follow and travel with a registered transport company like ABC transport if not border immigration would extort almost all Your money

No job in Ghana.....Ghana is far more expensive than Nigeria
RomanceRe: Say No To Broke Men, Ladies Be Smart! by Laird(m): 9:03am On Apr 22, 2017
mctowel01:
Many of you here are unintelligent, both guys and girls. That's why you fail to realize that the root cause ofthe argument stems from the fact that in society today, male and female are judged by different unequal standards. I hear broke guy broke guy, why is there no thread on broke girls? Many unemployed girls spend lot of time on social media, yet feel its still okay to call someone broke. The OP is well aware that there are way way more girls than guys who lack vision, yet she never cared to open a thread about it. No man likes being broke. Afterall, are there not many female university students getting married. Many married girls than guys in nysc... Who exactly is broke? Why didn't you open a thread on why the broke female students shouldn't be getting married? If you are intelligent enough, you will realise that the economic situation of a country will reflect the caliber of men you will meet. No matter how much you rant, you will keep encountering many struggling guys and a certain percentage of rich ones, as far as the economic situation remains.
I think Nigeria today is experiencing what we call social expectation imbalance, where the media heightens our expectations such as "type of weddings, restaurants to visit, phones to use, places to stay, dresses to wear... etc... But the economic reality, the purchasing power, remains different. Your expectations cannot change reality.
Sense and spot on point....unrealistic expectations from some people
A country where Medical Consultants that hold the Health System can go on strike would definitely have a high unemployment issue.
Nobody is anyone's problem.... Both male and female. Focus on Your financial goals and making money both male and female.

Christian Rinaldo a Football Player Multi-millionaire just paid a woman money JUST only to have a child for him ( surrogate mother things,) No wife things, no marriage things...just deliver a Child for him

Ivf is real and sperm donors or sellers are real. You can choose not to have a partner and You can choose not to.marry, You can choose to marry a Broke or Rich person, An ambitious or Non Ambitious person.
It would be however ridiculous if a Broke person calls another Person broke

For Me as a guy, no Marriage nor Serious relationship for now until I achieve My Career and Financial goals( I am above 30 and a professional) and That's my own stand.
I would when I achieve my financial and professional goals also go for a female with Similar or Close Professional and Financial Aspirations/ Similarities........if I choose to settle
No heavy subsidy/ lifestyle cushioning to any non- asset yielding partner.....Its should be a Value Yielding Mutual Merger not an Acquisition , renovation and Turnaround by Me

My Rules For Me only
