Typical Nigerian mentality to reap where they do not sow. I had this exact type of car a few years back (check my profile picture) and in this current state it is a nightmare to daily drive, not even worth 300k sef. You have to sink in a good amount of money to get it to "vintage" taste. That is where the million worth is, not this scrap this reaper wants to peddle.

They keep issuing bonds on a regular. Okay.

I really don't get why some people are complaining. Is it your Dollar? If you feel dollar will bounce back up then buy more now and keep. If not, enjoy your lower dollar rates and be happy. At least foregin products will be cheaper. What's the fuss?

Except additional and clearer information is provided by the prosecution, these people are facing a heavy reprisal litigation for kidnapping and extortion.

We all know how incorporated companies remain individual entities. Why would you detain an individual for weeks before arraignment as a way to blackmail induce the company to release confidential proprietary information.

This guy has not committed any direct crime but just because he came into the country, the Govt is exploiting the situation to detain him. Tell me, are they going to sentence him to jail because he represents a corporate entity?

Time will tell.

RomanceRe: Olosho House Experience of a16yr old by laivwire(m):
I can relate as well. I used to pass Asas at Molete in Ibadan on my way to school every week day back then and always heard stories about the place especially when I pass there early in the morning shortly after policemen must have burst into the place to settle some skirmish. I went in there once but didn't have the courage to talk to any of those women.

I guess I just felt it was an experience so common yet I never got to live it. The day I summoned courage, I used one of these hook-up sites and the lady gave her address. Getting there, it was an hotel and she gave her room number. The receptionist grinned at me like he knew what I was up to and I was like WTF. The room was so dark, stuffy and dingy and the only light source was a blurry TV screen. It also had an infused smell of cigarettes, air freshener and maybe body fluids mixed into one nasty nasal concoction. I met a totally different human being from the lady I saw online. She asked me to come and lie in an equally probably dirty bed.

My senses were at high alert about what other things may have happened in this room and hoped some criminal doesn't come in and rob me due to my naivety. As much as she tried, I was flat as a pancake and my heart kept thudding. I gave her money and hurriedly got out of the room.

my primary plan is to opt into transportation and real estate sector after. But taking that long inthe agriculture sector will deprive me of getting to learn a know about this "two sector" techniques because i'll be stayed in the village in other to execute the task "farming". I don't know how to go about it in other to have a balance.
If I understand, you want to generate income from agriculture part time while you learn transportation.
Annual crops like maize take about 2 months of constant attention before you can leave it to mature. That's not too much to spare for a money making venture in a year provided the farm is secure.

Otherwise, you can go into Cassava that takes a longer period but you can leave it while you do other things in town. You can also try your hands at buying and storing produce to sell when prices rise.

I want to focus on this farming for atleast 4yrs (2024-2027) but my fear is that i don't want to be stuck in it after the stated "period". I want to opt from it there-after. So how do you navigate your way from the farming to another thing? (note: i'm in my early 20s) @OP congratulation
Any another thing, do you mean another business different from agriculture or different from crop cultivation?

For the former, just take your money and do something else with it.

For the latter, there are many areas of agriculture you can delve into apart from crop cultivation. You can choose to grow different crops (greenhouses), raise fish or animals, breed seedlings or fingerlings, plant trees, sell Agri input, sell food items, process food products etc. the possibilities are endless.

Incomplete truths. Before any European country will hire you, you need a solid background which refers:
1. A good result from a relevant discipline
2. Solid years of work experience
3. An enviable portfolio of results

And most importantly, the ability the speak the language or learn it in the shortest time possible.

Barely securing certificates will not give you a solid job, you would only play yourself.

Just let go abeg except you have plans of relocating in the near future as well. Long distance is so difficult with marriage not to talk of dating. She may not be dating anyone else sef. If she's still reaching out, its because she wants to make the breakup process as smooth and less heart aching as possible. Its a slow but inevitable break up.

Don't burn bridges however, keep in touch from time to time. You can wipe all reminders of her on your in phone to help your emotions.

I've been in a similar situation as well so I know how it feels. The girl in question also said she wants out. Very pretty and mature girl and the first I ever asked out but she was older than me. Several years later, I can still call her or smile if I meet her in public. No hate or hard feelings. Infact, many of her friends still communicate with me.

It is difficult to tell.
I left Zenith Bank in 2004 for masters in the UK. Fast forward 20 years, I have been lucky in that I am working in Finance and relatively well paid.
I have most of the things I need in the UK and Nigeria. My kids are obviously dual nationals.

BUT, a close friend of mind who stayed back in Nigeria is a bank director today. He is well paid too and visits the UK quite often with his family. His family is more of a traditional Nigerian family than mine.

I'd take his success/situation over mine, but then he also says he'd take mine over his, especially the mobility my UK passport offers.

Long story short: It depends on what's more important to you. Do what suits your circumstance. The grass is not always greener on the other side. NEVER leave a well paying job/business in Nigeria for an uncertain future abroad though.
These are the comments I like to see. Its 2 sides of a coin.

I have 2 close uncles who have towed similar parallels. Both were hustling in Lagos and then one left for Europe. 19 years down the line, I have visited the both of them. One works as a nurse, his kids were born abroad and he can travel anywhere he wants, easy but average lifestyle by european standards, lives in a 2 bedroom flat and drivess a modest car. Still runs to work everyday and switches shifts with his wife to stay with kids at home. Nothing too fancy.

The other is in Lagos. Faces the mad lagos lifestyle of course but earns in excess of #3m monthly from business and job. His wife is a fulltime housewife but they are comfortable. Has exotic cars and enjoys that social Nigerian weekend lifestyle. I don't know if travelling out tickles him but he would have to go through long processes if he wants to.

What makes life kinda difficult is that majority of Nigerians have entrepreneurial spirit in them and here in Nigeria you can be an entrepreneur without adhering to government policy which is very impossible abroad. Also it's difficult to get a professional job there with the barest minimum qualifications like in Nigeria.
Wagbayi. If anything, the restrictions on having your own business is a serious hindrance. Besides, its no joke to secure a professional job, you have to be highly skilled with lots of experience. You would be worked for every penny and its only few countries/companies that allow black men reach top managerial positions. The average salary outside IT and medicals still hovers around €3500 - €5000. Not so big if you have a big comfortable 3 bedroom flat with family with kids, you still have to discipline your spending squarely unlike in Nigeria where things are a lot cheaper.

The upside is the good life and ability to acquire things you otherwise can't afford in Nigeria thanks to the bountiful subscription payments that abound. You need #100,000,000,000 (one hundred million) to buy a Land Rover defender in Nigeria but need only half of that to lease and pay installmental payments for same car in the west. Its also nice when you see Nigerianss already buying houses and letting out AirBnBs in Europe. Just know they've invested many years and toil to attain such levels but its still all on lease subscription payment.

Please I need your advice on this , even tho I've made up my mind. I got a job recently which am about 3-4 months old but I have never been happy or feel good ever since then.

The thing is that I've been practicing coding before getting the job but ever since I got the job, I've been drained mentally that I could barely open my laptop talk more of practicing..the job isn't that bad but it's not in line with the career I actually wants and I feel like that's the reason why I'm barely happy also salaries are delayed like 2weeks after month end.

I've decided to resign in good faith and focus on my path, please guys what do you think ?
Follow your heart but use your head. You better have another source of income before dumping your current job.

Congratulations. I made my first million through savings as well and it was a milestone when I clocked that number. I however sunk it all into a passion business that went aground and I had to start all over again.

Experience has taught me that wealth is gained quicker through business than salary savings because the quick millions I made were all achieved within a span of months of doing business. The first million from salary savings took 4 years.

For context, my second was from a farming season (May to December) that netted #5m when I sold all my grains.

Thank you. I don't understand the madness for car upgrades, when the only things changed are the bumpers, and possibly the headlights and taillights, all the mechanical and electrical parts still remain the same. Same old engine, same old transmission.
Is that some form of low self esteem?
I tire. Resto mods or upgrade kits like Mansory do not change the year of the car. They still state it is a 1978 Porsche or 2020 Ghost with so and so kits even when they change all the internals of the car.

Nigerians will abuse every concept to rip people off.
