A Christian lawyer calls a Judge 'my lord',
Sarah in the Bible also called Abraham 'lord',
Laban was initially Jacob's landlord.
It could just be a formality, and it doesn't mean they have taken the place of Christ as their Supreme Lord.

But I get the message and I'm thankful to My Lord, Jesus Christ, because by His Grace HE will empower me to start off as a Landlord and not a tenant (the Bible says He shall supply all my needs according to His riches in Glory in Christ Jesus),

As for me, I'm not entering a plane of a Pilot trained by a simulator but one that has actually been certified through real life practice.

My brother is married, whenever he comes around, I see the stress over his face, he used to be fairer than me. Even his rent had to be paid again for the 2nd time by someone else. He couldn't make the rent money.

The other day, all the staffs in the house had to gather to help start his car.

But I see the wife, getting fatter, moving around like a hog (I'm sorry, couldn't find a better description). Always walking around like she's tired or pregnant. The first thing she does when she comes around is to change the channel to ZeeWorld. You can tell shes living carefree.

I'm sorry, their situation doesn't encourage me to be married. Trust me, my brother would have been better off alone.

That's marriage in Nigeria.

Marriage is not bad, but wisdom. You have to assess the season to be married and the purpose. There is a right time and purpose. In our parents time, it was good/favorable to be married, men and women were brought up better and better trained for marriage plus the economy was better, but is it the same now, NOOOO!

It would be foolish of you to say, I must replicate what my parents did without considering that time has changed. Be ready to enter gbase.

In this 21 century, no guy wants marriage palava. They still haven't gotten over the peace and liberty of singlehood.

Nobody wants the stigma of a failed marriage, the unrest of domestic issues, and to top it up, the struggles of having to fend for another and being insulted or disrespected when you can't.

And to make matters worse, the Bible supports singlehood. Assuming the Bible didn't support it, it would have been a problem.

Before you ask me how?, for those that lightly read or don't read their Bibles, here: 1 Cor 7:25-38.

To most, marriage is a BIG DEAL, To Apostle Paul , He refers to it as a DISTRACTION in verse 35.

Let me go one step further. That will only make sense to you if you believe there are 2 or 3 gods /personalities but I believe in one GOD in 3 forms (Holy Spirit is GOD, Christ is GOD, GOD the father is GOD). All those names still refers to one deity.

Christ is GOD in the flesh. It's absurd to say otherwise. Anyways, Christ is living to me, i don't depend on Wiki to tell me about the one that lives in me and with me. If anything, I depend on His word (contained in the Bible).

Look for some other achievements to give you a sense of pride, not on what you choose to believe.
