Please, I need advice on an urgent matter.

My brother applied for a 6-month UK visa around mid-July as a first-timer. He picked up his passport today, but the duration on the visa vignette affixed to his passport is more than the six months he paid for. The visa runs from September 2023 to September 2025.

Do you guys think he should inform UKVI or he should stay silent and continue to use it? Has this happened to anyone before?

Do you guys think they will discover this later?

My brother applied for a 6-month visa in July this year, but a 2-year visa was affixed to his passport. He traveled to the UK for 2 weeks in September, but he is trying to use it again in a few days.

Do you guys think it is okay to travel with it?

Good evening gurus, pls guys my US visa just got denied today it was painful after months of preparation and I got denied in less than 2mins. someone mention to me I can apply for Canada International conference, that it is 70-80% guarantee but I don't have any details about any conferences in Canada, pls guys help me with the links, requirements and details on how to apply and pls guys is it possible to get interview dates in Canada giving the fact I am apply now.
Sorry for the long write up, I will extremely grateful for any response, Godbless our japa advisers and hustlers.

Either conference or visiting, you will get a visa if you packaged your application well. The 70 to 80% guaranteed is bullshit, don't allow people to use your desperation to deceive you.

He will need to go back to the TLS office with the first page of his document check list and his passport on Monday .

There are 3 possible outcomes

1. They cancel it and print him the 6 months vignette .
2. Ask him to pay the difference .
3. Give him free .

If he decides to keep it and not take it back , if it was a printing error , the system may show it's expired after the 6 months expires. Usually at the point of entry , they check the vignette and also.scam the passport .

thanks for the info.

pls is it on monthly or quarterly for the interest.

If you put N1 million into a fixed deposit for 1 year with a interest rate of 10%.

First the bank will remove the N1 million from your account then you will start
to receive 10% interest less VAT on a monthly basis.

At the end of the 1 year your account will be credited with your N1 million

Travel / Re: 7 M Annual Income Or Move To Canada by Lamide123: 2:44am On Oct 22, 2018
naijaman3:

Hmmn, I don’t know how you are doing your math. It looks to me that 7M Naira (or about CAD $25,000) per annum in Nigeria will be equivalent to maximum CAD $50,000 (or 14M Naira) in Canada taking tax and cost of living into consideration.

Your math is off because you did not take into consideration a lot of other things that you will spend money on while living in Nigeria but you don’t spend money on them in Canada. Some of the other things are:

Elementary and Secondary Education: In Canada, world class quality education is free from kindergarten to the end of high school. However, in Nigeria you know what you have to pay per term for schools that are not even as good as the free ones here in Canada.

Health and Medical: In Canada, you get this for free. However, in Nigeria you know what you have to pay for medical treatment at all the death center you call hospital. It is so bad that your yeyebrity (celebrity) that are believed to be making more than 7M Naira per annum run to social medial looking for help to cover hospital bills when they are sick.

Unemployment Benefit: If you lose your job in Canada due to no fault of yours you are entitled to government paid employment payment for between 14 weeks to 45 weeks. This is in additional to whatever severance pay that your company will pay you. What do you get from government in Nigeria if you lose your job due to no fault of yours? Nothing.

Government Pension: In additional to pension you get from your employer when you retire; you also get government paid pension monthly in Canada when you retire (You don’t need to work for the government to get this). What do you get from government in Nigeria when you retire? Nothing.

Old Age Security Payment: In Canada if you are 65 years and above you get paid Old Age Security payment irrespective of whether you have worked or never worked all your life. What do you get from government in Nigeria when you are old? Nothing.

You can argue that all of the above are not free because the government uses our tax to cover for these expenses. This is why our tax is a little high. But in Nigeria since you do not pay high taxes like we pay and you still need all of the above basic needs you have to pay for them or plan for them by yourself from your 7M Naira annual income. So, if you add high tax to your Canadian expenses, you also need to add the cost of all of the above to your Nigerian expenses.

Apart from the above items covered by our taxes, there are a couple of other items below that are extremely expensive in Nigeria compared to Canada:

Generator Running Expenses: Despite paying your NEPA bill, your power is not stable or not available at all. Hence you run your generator. In Canada, I don’t have to run a generator to live so the cost is zero. What is the cost of this per month or per year in Nigeria?

Tokunbo Car: The tokunbo car that you buy for about 2.24M Naira (CAD $8,000) in Nigeria will only cost me about CAD $2000 (N560,000 Naira) in Canada.

University and College Education: In Canada my kids have the following options available tom then in financing their education without me as a parent paying anything (government tuition grant not to be paid back, academic scholarship, part time work while schooling etc). In addition, they also get tax refund from tution and books etc but in Nigeria parents have to spend their live savings sending kids to the university.

There are more but I stop here for now!

Taking all of the above, all other cost of living and taxes into consideration, I would say that 7M Naira (or about CAD $25,000) per annum in Nigeria will be equivalent to maximum CAD $50,000 (or 14M Naira) in Canada.

You guys need to let him know that Canada is not like before any more. Is the man going with visitor visa or going there with a resident card. I am not here to discourage him but the papers issue in abroad these days are tough. He needs paper to work. He can live well in Nigeria with 7 million than CAD $25000 because you have to factor in expenses like rent and government taxes.

It is not advisable to use the company bank account. If you are going on holiday then use your personal bank account but
if you are going for company business like conference or business meeting then you can use the company bank statement
plus your personal bank account.

A 53-year-old Nigerian woman became a mother for the first time, after she welcomed a baby girl after 20 years of marriage. Facebook user Ogundero Dainty Morenike who shared the story, said her aunt has christened the baby girl 'Victoria'. She wrote;

My very big aunt gave birth at 53 after 20 years of marriage.. This God is too much o.... She's named "Victoria". May God bless the waiting wombs in Jesus name. Amen.

https://lailasnews.com/53-year-old-nigerian-woman-welcomes-a-baby-after-20-years-of-marriage/

Good news but I dont really believe most of this story. A Nigerian woman living in USA told her hubby that she was pregnant but she was having the feeling that she might miscarried it. She told her hubby that she needs to go to Nigeria so her parent can take care of her. She later gave birth to twins here in Nigeria. Big celebration! They took the kids to US embassy in Lagos to get travel docs for the kids (hubby is US citizen while the woman is a permanent resident), guess what, it was discovered that the kids doesn't belong to the couple. The woman bought the kids. It was a big case because the embassy involved Nigerian police. You can google it to read more about the story

Business / Re: Benefits Of Registering Your Company With The Corporate Affairs Commission by Lamide123: 4:22am On Jul 04, 2018
companyregagent:
BENEFITS OF REGISTERING YOUR BUSINESS WITH THE CORPORATE AFFAIRS COMMISSION

Anyone can decide one day to start operating a business. All that person has to do is provide a product or service to another person in exchange for money or money’s worth to be "in business." While registering your business with the ” Corporate Affairs Commission” (CAC) isn't necessarily required to complete certain business transactions, it is a smart choice for new and existing entrepreneurs for a variety of reasons which includes:

1.Opening Business Bank Accounts
You need to provide proof that your business is properly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) to open a business bank account in Nigeria. A business bank account is an important asset to a small business because you can separate your personal activities from your business activities. It is also more professional to give your clients / customers a business account details that carries your business name for payment instead of your own full name.

2.Safeguarding Your Business / Corporate Name
One huge advantage of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) is safeguarding your business name from being used by another person / business. No one else can register a business with that same name or a similar name.

3. Legal Liability Protection
Another benefit of registration is receiving some legal liability protection ( note that a private company limited by share has a legal personality distinct from that of its subscribers). If you register or incorporate your business, you will not be held personally responsible for certain accidents and other liabilities incurred by the registered company. Thus, you may find it easier to attract investors, since they will know you are not personally responsible for the company’s well-being.

4.Getting Loans
When you apply for business loans, you're going to have to prove that you're actually a business. Banks and investors will ask to see your business registration certificate along with other application requirements before approving you for a loan.

5.Reputation With Customers
Customers and clients, especially people you've never worked with before, need assurance that you are a legitimate business. A potential client may suspect your business of being a "fly-by-night" operation if your company isn't properly registered. When a business is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission ( CAC), it could put your clients at ease when making a decision about whether to spend money with / transact business with your company.

6.Supplier Arrangements / Government Contracts
A registered business also makes you eligible to receive supplier discounts that you wouldn't normally receive as an unregistered business entity. Suppliers usually reserve special rates for business owners who can show official evidence of business name or company registration (certificate of incorporation) issued by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) . Also, if your plan is to be getting government contracts for your company, a business registration is one of the first requirements.

7. Perpetual Succession / Continuity
A final benefit of registration is the business continuing even if you die or become ill. A registered business is an entity in its own right; thus, another can assume ownership or control or your business can be sold. Neither are possible without registration.

Contact us and let us help you through the process of registering your company (ltd) / business names (enterprises / ventures). The following rates apply for our services :
Registration of business names (#23,500) Incorporation of Limited liability Company "LTD" (#65,000), Incorporation of Trustees i.e. NGO's, Associations, and Churches (#150,000) for more information call or whatsapp, Olaleye on 09029075974 or Email : companyregagent@gmail.com
I need an information from you guys.
