Anon123: Wat is the difference My opinion A letter of sponsorship is meant to explain what your sponsor does, Your sponsor's source(s) of income His/her relationship to the applicant The letter should show the sponsors readiness to finance your education, should also show that your sponsor understands the cost of your education in Canada How much he/she has set aside for your education, etc.... An affidavit is just to legalize the fact that the sponsor will truly finance your education and everything is not just mouth |

Precious000: I would suggest you avoid anything that can lead to a denial because as you know IRCC verifies everything submitted. I just feel you should state and explain everything as it is. I don't really know but this is just what I feel Other gurus in the house should please help with this. You do not understand I guess There shouldn’t be any issue There’s nothing to verify He was accepted into an undeclared major @childgodly should create a strong SOP stating he plans to declare maybe a biochemistry major in his 2nd year cz that’s the normal thing for memorial You declare a major in your 2nd year Telling IRCC you want to finish your 1st year and then apply for nursing afresh might not be safe |

childgodly: Thank you for the advice. I think I'll just go with what @Lamideyy said about writing about a different program. But they gave me general admission so how do I indicate the reason I did not specify? Can I write that I am yet to decide between Biology and Biochemistry or something? Or do I just say that I am undecided. I'm just scared that they will contact the university. I don't want any mishaps. Send an email |

childgodly: I'm currently drafting my LOE. However for the school I'm attending, they require me to complete prerequisite courses before I apply to the nursing school so my first year will be spent completing those courses. They gave me general admission so that I would have the freedom to do the required courses without declaring a major. On the letter of admission it states that the course of study is not specified. Do I explain it like this in my LOE? Also, the length of the program is 4 years but I will need a visa for 5 years because of my first year for prerequisite courses and then the 4 years of nursing school. How should I frame this? I don't want to draw any red flags to my application. Thank you all for all the advice so far! I was in your exact shoes I wrote an SOP like I was going for an entirely different 4 year program Instead of explaining the whole nursing story You can start research, maybe claim you want to do Biology for 4 years/ or any other reasonable course Demonstrate passion for what you’re writing about When you get to Canada, you can apply for your nursing and extend your study permit later |

If not you should be writing a statement of purpose(SOP) and not a LOE Moreover, LOE is not to explain your career goals if at all you need to write one( I mean if you have been previously rejected) |

JustMellow: Hello Childgodly,
As a minor, hope you are aware that you need a custodian in Canada who is a PR/Citizen and you are required to fill the IMM 5646e Form same as the custodian. It also should be notarized by a notary public.
The LOE is not compulsory but important. I believe your mom is accompanying you so to help you settle?
Your age doesn't affect your application processing/visa chances if you meet eligibility. About the created GcKey account in your name, you are right on track.
Best of Luck @childgodly you don’t need to fill the IMM5646 It’s for those less than 17 years of age All the best ! |

Cflow10: Also please my Dad’s passport expired last year and he’s not my sponsor, he doesn’t have a birth certificate too. Can I put the expired passport like that since it shows his date of birth or do I have to look for an alternative line declaration of age ? Does he have a drivers licenses or NIN slip ? The both would show a picture and his age My sisters passport expired last year too so I used her NIN slip |

[quote author=Baggiomarrio post=101019192]Gurus, you guys should help me nawww! I don’t know what to do, I applied using the nomal rout. I applied January 22 using the nomal statement because I thought Firstbsnk don’t have mbs, with a letter to back it up that first bank don operate that Servis. My question is, now that is very obvious first bank operate ...... can I still do the mbs and send to ircc or I should just live my application like that? Help a brothe am just 17 year , I don’t know what to do/quote] If the money(30,000k CAD) is still in the account, the account is fully functional till date and there are no signs of your sponsor cutting corners( I mean , maybe the account was built and then the money has been withdrawn...that kind of thing) You can get the MBS and upload it via webform, you could also explain that you just discovered first bank has started issuing MBS blah blah blah |

Ayobami98: Hi Everyone! I'm new here, please I need actual information on how to proceed with my study permit application. Things to do and not do.
I have read different articles on different platforms and also the CIC website. However, I'd like to get practical information and experiences and also be added to a whatsapp platform for persons like myself.
I'm 22 years old and I was offered admission into the University of Manitoba for an undergraduate studies, which I have accepted. Please note that this will be my second undergraduate degree.
I'm about to proceed with my study permit application, any advice please? Also, is it wise to include my older sibling as an accompanying family member? Personally, I wouldn’t advise you include an older sibling as an accompanying family member However, if you feel it is very necessary to do so and there is proof of over-sufficient funds You can go ahead Also you applied for another undergrad degree What did you study for your first degree and what course are you going for in Manitoba Maybe stating that would help others to give better/specific advice to you |

Johnpaul94: Help a brother pls I would suggest you ignore the NSE request Not submitting the required documents does NOT mean that the decision on your application would be affected. NSE just hastens your application timeline. If you do not want to take IELTS, no need to submit a waiver. Just let your application be God’s Favour and blessings! |
