emperor , you're doing a good job. i swear. have been following since part 1 . I'm a fan |
A nurse is not subjected to a doctor, its an emergency and its the priority of every hospital to attend to every emergency and give first aid. she is trained to access emergency using triage system , she knows the status of the patient and for the hospital if they cant take an emergency case then it should be closed down. stupid doctors will be employed they cant challenge their brain instead they'll be looking for patients with malaria to prove their dumbness. assault on the nurse must not be handle fairly. both parties are employed under same management , they are both subjected to the boss. Nigerian doctors must learn the hard way. Nurses are not their errand staff. |
I stand with Amarabae, a secondary sch leaver will go to the Hosp and said he wants to be trained as a Nurse. Biko who does that , nursing is not an act it's a science. Most of this yiur consultant in govt Hosp will open the private settings and will train quacks there ,some nurses too will open clinic and start training quack killing their profession all in the name of greed. The govt of this country has a law for Hosp/clinic before u open one but they will never follow it, forging all necessary requirements. There is nothing like auxiliary Dr or Nurse. If you're not licensed and certified you're nothing but a quack. |
not until the masses get it straight that most hospital posing under the name of hospital are not qualified to be an hospital. most of them are just quack centers. when u get to any hospital try to verify if the person attending to you is a qualified personnel cos in medicine there is ethics and law is also applied with polices. A gun shot wound must be attended to first without police report then later you contact the authority. same goes for all accident victims |
ogbright:Child of a thousand father, yes thanks for diagnosing me right I have a problem, and the problem is I won't take a chill pill until people like your friend disgracing my dear profession are put away and the stupid act of killing good Nigerians faking the identity of a nurse a dealt with. It's a matter of time before u realise nothing like auxiliary in this country. If you're not a nurse you're a quack
|
ogbright:do you know the definition of pain? with your retard brain and foolish mind , do you think there is something like auxiliary in this country ? stupid hospital without good practicing license will take a secondary sch dropout and promised to train her to become a nurse, when people of her age are either in sch of nursing studying nursing science. you're hear professing love for a quack. i bet if she gets the job she dreamed of even an ancillary hospital attendant has good educational background, if she is not a nurse tell her she has nothing to do in the health field or else na prison she go rot |
lol..... sorry there is nothing like an auxiliary nurse. is either you're a registered nurse or a quack . you cant say you are a nurse with no scientific knowledge of nursing and claim you have experience . well let her go now sebi she thinks its Nigeria where we have no law. Shalom |
#THEY_RUINED_OUR_TEAM NB: Long post When we were admitted into the university, some of us were in Nursing Sciences, Optometry, Medical Laboratory Science, Medicine and Surgery, Physiotherapy, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Radiology etc. We were subjected to general studies (GST,GSS). We were taught by mathematicians, Education teachers, physicists and philosophers. Since they knew little or nothing about the slight differences in our course of study, they addressed us by a general name: Medical and Health Sciences. We made friends amongst one another. " What's your department? " I'd asked. " Nursing sciences. " " Wow! I 'm in Medicine and Surgery. Meet my friend, she's in Pharmacy." That way, we became bound by the cords of friendship, and we read at the Medical Laboratory Science block. We had one common goal: to pass our exams. We put our heads together in solving the past questions for that semester. Bunmi my Pharmacist friend, was good at Mathematics. Ekene the Nursing guy, was a wizard in Chemistry. I loved Biology, and Ahmed my Optometry friend taught us Physics. Together, we solved the past questions, taught and complimented each other. Now towards our third Year in school, things started to go sour, and South. Bunmi would pass and just wave. Ekene barely would talk to me, and whenever Ahmed picked my calls, I 'd feel like I owed God a testimony. Each of us had the key to our respective classes and we locked them against every other student that wasn't in our department. The center could no longer hold - things fell apart: " They should have considered it a privilege to be associated with me." " Oh, I didn't tell you? " Towards our third year in school, we had new lecturers with entirely different mindsets , behaviors and speech. They were our seniors in the profession. They'd availed themselves so we could be taught. Pharmacists taught the Pharmacy students. Doctors taught the student Doctors. Scientists taught the student Scientists. Matrons taught the student Nurses. Every thing went fine, until we were introduced to a strange course; a course not found in the curriculum. But we learnt it. It was injected into us, and it went straight into our heads and our minds absorbed them. They were injections of words. We were told to uphold our disciplines with great esteem and never to accept any humiliation from anybody. They told us that we were superior to other departments. Student laboratory scientists were told that without the laboratory, the hospital is handicapped. The Nursing students were told that they were indispensable. The student Doctors were told that they were general overseers. The Pharmacists assumed the appellation ; Bedrock of Medical Practice. These may not be entirely false, but the next words injected in us triggered the hatred, ego rise and envy. We were told of how other departments in the same medical field hated us; of the need to stand up and uphold the fight because other departments are jealous of ours and wants to humiliate us. We were told that medical doctors were arrogant and hence we'd give them no room for such display. We were told that nurses were insulting, hence, all relationships with them should be kept at a highly official level and with great consciousness of our ego; that the medical laboratory scientists were poke - nosing into our territory, so we must annihilate them as possibly as we can. We were taught to esteem our ego and defend our profession against our 'foes' in the same field. No wonder we now feel insecure amongst ourselves - the injection really worked. Sadly, as I bleed in my heart writing this, I recalled our first years, when our minds were like virgins. We were together and we all had one mind and one goal - The Exam. Now we are faced with a bigger goal - The patient. But, we aren't together. So, How can we Pass? They've ruined our team. FROM THE DESK OF LAGOS STATE NANNM CHAIRMAN. Good morning my comrades. We appreciate your supports so far in this struggle. Your efforts have not been in vain as we recorded some victories. Nurses as noble professionals are not just challenging the authority we are only demanding for our LEGITIMATE RIGHTS. We appreciate our amiable Governor for his swift attendance to some of our requests. We appreciate the approval for the eventual commencement of internship in Lagos State for the graduate Nurses. We are aware of the fear and agitation of already employed graduates in the service. I want to assure you that we shall explore all avenues to address the situation. The correction of entry point from GL 09 to GL 10 is receiving the attention of our National Body as a NEW circular from the office of Head of Service of the Federation is required to correct the anomaly. We not shall foreclose the ability of the state government to correct the error even before the release of federal circular. You would recalled that our governor approved the lateral conversion before the federal government did likewise also maternity leave. Our governor therefore can do it. We appreciate the approval of unified scheme of Service for Nurses as approved by the National Council on Establishment in 2016. We appreciate LASUTH, MOH, & PHCB for the inclusion of Uniform Allowance in their year 2018 budget as enshrined in the Lagos State Public Service Rules. We want to implore HSC not to be an exception. The agency should consider raising a supplementary budget to pay the Uniform Allowance in 2018. We appreciate the state government through the office of our Honourable Commissioner for Health for the promise to ensure central payment of the Uniform Allowance with effect from 2019. We appreciate the State government for the assurance to pay the Adjusted CONHESS salary once the circular is released by the Federal government. We appreciate all other commitments by the state government. It is in view of the above that the National body of our union granted approval that the strike should be relaxed in Lagos State. This gesture was also extended to Kano, Yobe and Niger States. While awaiting further directive from the National Headquarters, let all Nurses comply with the call to resume duty and render skeletal services. Emergency services should run for 24hrs. Other services should be rendered from 8am-4pm. No nurse should stay at home under the pretence of being on strike unless if on off-duty. On the perceived mismanagement of the strike by the State leadership of JOHESU. We shall review the situation and decide on modality for future collaboration after due consultations. Meanwhile, let me tender apology on behalf of all members of JOHESU in the State. It has been a good fight and we shall continued to fight for our rights. Soon, very soon, we shall all see appreciable improvement in our emolument. We appreciate the public for their understanding and we are assuring you of our readiness to continue rendering best services for the wellbeing of all. Once again, I thank you for your cooperation. God bless us all. Aluta Continua! Victoria Ascerta!! Oluritimi Awojide NANNM Chairman. Lagos. |
Subject: PRESS BRIEFING TEXT OF A PRESS BRIEFING BY JOHESU HELD ON THURSDAY MAY 17, 2018 AT AYUBA WABBA HOUSE, AREA ONE ABUJA It has become necessary to reach out to the Federal Government, consumers of health and all stakeholders with regards to the on-going nationwide strike of health workers. We wish to put on record that after attending a series of meetings with the Federal Government team under the auspices of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment, with the following Ministries/Agencies in attendance; Federal Ministry of Health, Office of Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Office of Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Federal Ministry of Finance, DSS and others on: a. Wednesday, 25th April, 2018 ii. Monday, 30th April, 2018 iii. Thursday, 3rd May, 2018 iv. Wednesday 9th May, 2018 v. Tuesday 15th May, 2018 vi. Wednesday 16th May, 2018 It has become imperative to summarise our observation as follows: 1. The Federal Ministry of Health as presently led by Prof. Isaac Adewole FAS has constituted itself as a major hindrance to fruitful deliberation as he has never disguised its intention to symbolise the propaganda machine of the NMA through his posturing at all our meetings, which necessitated JOHESU to take a position that the negotiation were structured to fail ab-initio. Prof. Isaac Adewole is on record to have insisted that the wage structure in the health sector must reckon with what was obtainable in the 1991 late Prof. Olukoye Ransome – Kuti’s dual salary system (MSS and HSS) which marked the beginning of persistent acrimony until it was corrected through the Harmonised Tertiary Institutions Salary Structure (HATISS) and HAPSS in 2003. 2. The duo of the Ministers of Labour and Health who are both members of the NMA have taken a position that parity must entail a basic salary differential in the emolument of health professionals and their doctor colleagues. On May 15, 2018, JOHESU came up with a comprehensive presentation to graphically showcase the realities of the various salary scales in the Health Sector from 1977 till date (please see appendix). Even when the reality on ground shows that a fresh doctor presently enters the public service on CONMESS 3 which is the equivalent of GL 13 with a take home monthly package of N313,000,00 per month, the closest in line who are health professionals enter public service on CONHESS 9 which is the equivalent of GL 10 with a package of N161,670.00 with a proposal to have an adjustment that takes him to a total emolument of N190,000.00, the two Ministers who are members of NMA have taken positions that these health professionals seek parity with doctors. In mathematical terms this is a significant 61% differential. At same CONMESS 3 which is an equivalent of CONHESS 11, in our adjusted CONHESS, a Medical Doctor on CONMESS 3 will earn N312,944.83 while other health professionals will earn N223,345.58. this is a difference of N89,599.22 which in mathematical terms translate into 40% differential. At peak levels on CONMESS 7, a consultant doctor takes home at least One Million naira, while other health professionals at the same peak level of CONHESS 15 are presently on N477,165 and seek for proposed adjustment which will take them to N697,000. This still gives a 43% differential. The above reflection is what obtains when health professionals on the peak of JOHESU ladder is compared to doctors. For administrators and graduate nurses who start on CONHESS 7 (GL , their present earnings are a meagre monthly entitlements of N89,000 and N118,000.For effect it will take any other average health professional or administrator a minimum of 15 year. Elueme:you are not seeing the light but you've been eluded with ego.. drs cannot dominate the health sector and moreover it's not every body choice to be a dr so y the hullabaloo about your MBBs. a nurse uses his/her 5 credit to study nursing so do u. a nurse spent 5yrs with internship =6, u use 6yrs with housemanship =7. so... you claim with all your academic battering ,sorry not only u has those awards. ask a nurse how many postgraduate course she has attended you'll marvel. some nurses are fellows so.dont be stupid and be humble . why do u cry when others raise the brow to be awarded consultant it's called health sector for a reason not drs sector. keep.killing your pts using quakes(auxiliaries) in your private hospitals and you think you're helping the system. an average dr in this country is a selfish dr. |
bloggers only want to make money and drive traffic to their website. most Nigerians do not know the difference between. quack(auxiliaries) and a registered Nurse. as she was arrested now , she has nothing to loose, she doesn't have a lincense or an form of live. Nursing is a world for the worldless, beauty and live savers. that's why you have to find out about the nurse who is attending to you if she is a registered nurse or a quack. save your life , your health matters . I'm a nurse , I'm an agent of change. loves a registered nurse. #malenurse |
