Having read the entire post (yes! I took my time and read every single comment), I have a new prayer point "God please I don't want a husband with a poor mentality".
If you die as a Man and your wife re marries. So what? Often times, most women never re marry but Men do and hell its ok.
Secondly, I can deduce that many people marry for the wrong reasons - if you do not trust your wife, or love your wife why marry her in the first place? If she changes after marriage y remain with her?
Thirdly, did u come to this life to fend for your siblings. If your wife is not important enough for you to entrust your wealth y did u marry her? I mean, unlike your brother, you had a choice and you picked her. That should count for something.
Assuming like she said she contributed to the House even if its 10% (for those who can't fathom that a woman can contribute more than a man) isn't she entitled to some benefit?
Even if she has no issue...if the man dies, won't he like his wife to have something from him after all, aren't they supposed to be one?
Marriage is not by force. If you can't find someone to trust and love, forget it.
The only justification for me is if those forms and will were made before marriage.

My hubby grew up with dozens of househelp.
Till date,they still have plenty of them living with his daddy

So this automatically made him a lazy fellow when at home cos everything is always taken care of.

When we married, I don't want such and I groomed him into participating in d house.

When his dad came to visit(he even came with one) he was shocked that his boy can bath baby,enter kitchen while I sitand gist away
He actually complained but hubby told him,this is the right thing to do.
My FIL believed that it's the man's duty to provide,thats all. The wife does the same
We changed that mentality.

I'm grew up around lots of married ladies that I listened well when they advice me from their well of knowledge so I won't make their mistakes(assuming there is any)

I was almost killed 3years ago... Pregnancy week 12. I woke up with a tremble cramp.I could neither walk nor eat... Was rushed to one clean looking hospital around. First they said 'etopic pregnancy... I was admitted and they next day, after a scan... They gynea said 'appendix'... Time was fixed for surgery.

My husband showed up that day, had his doubt, and he took me to another hospital. They ish was actually 'ovarian cyst. Some/Most hospitals here are bad. That is fact!(Na so dem for kill me)

I am AA and I'm engaged to a lady who is SS. She is the one person who truly gets me and who I believe will support me and love me no matter what happens. I am truly in love with her too and am ready to support her and take care of her. It is difficult to find someone like that, so even when she told me she was SS, I continued with the relationship.

My advice is to go ahead and leave her health to God. As long as she is taking the necessary steps to keep the condition under control and has a good ad close relationship with God, she will live long.

As for me, I don't think about how my wife to be might die early as I believe that God will keep her and she will outlive me.
