Awesome chapter! So, Efemena, this is what you'd have allowed us to miss if you'd pulled out of the team? This is so cool.

But, why did you mix the names Tracy and Tracey? You should rather stick with one, Tracy perhaps. Frank named her Tracy.

I still can't imagine how that dream can be linked to the event, except when a supernatural force is being introduced. And the introduction of supernatural/unnatural affairs is highly forbidden. The subsequent writers have a hell of a job to do from this fourth chapter.

Weldone ma'am.

These are the few errors I've been able to catch for now:

1. Strewn carelessly besides them on the floor were some loose bits of change...

2. "You, my dear Suleman, are one very sick man", she grinned cheekily.
The commas should be reflected in the quotes, and not out of them.

3. I think I'm quite disappointed with you today.

4. Yes, they were there allright, all five of them online...

5. Someone who was probably a lot closer to him than he aware of...

6. For some inexplicable reason...

7. ...informing him that that would be using his flat for his latest "runz"...

Sooo sleepy I am now...later.

Okay, I'm gonna change the name asap. By the way, the constant use of 'babes' between Lucan and his paramour seems too monotonous.

Still haven't explained the link between Lucan's adventure in the dream and the burnt mansion in reality.

Weldone, Efe. It's a nice chapter you are creating. If you can still meet up with deadline, then ride on. I said 1500words at least, I didn't say the words cannot be more. A chapter can contain as much as 5000 or even 10'000words. The most important thing though is to plot a worthwhile story therefrom. I believe you're going to leave enough pointers for the next writers to work on. I already wrote it in the first page that where one writer might believe he has tied loose ends, another writers might just pick up from there and give the story a different direction, but not vying away from the theme though.

But, Efe, you left me confused when you brought in Agbani Darego. Remember that Agbani Darego is an actual person living. She is the former Miss World. I just introduced her in the dream of Lucan's. I never imagined that she'd really be created as a character. I wouldn't want Agbani sueing us all o. But seeing that you've got more arrows in your quiver, I'll just keep my thumbs crossed grin Weldone again.

Actually, Xsolution, I don't think the idea of giving directives is the best, it'd kill the fun. We should rather leave everybody in the dark about what the next writer is going to post. That way, the next writer will have free hand to work (and not feel spoon-fed). I trust that every writer can give us the best chapters.

About Redmosquito's chapter, not only did he use the present tense in his narration but he also used the first person singular. Now, from my own personal experience of novel-readings, using the first-person singular (I) entails that the narrator is involved in the story itself; that he's also a character. Using Pidgin English in the description is also not impressive. I know that he was only dishing some sort of humour therein but it doesn't jibe. It would have been permitted if he had used it in the dialogue.

I hope he wouldn't take umbrage from people's comments. I have initially said that we should correct with love and not insult.

LiteratureRe: Nairaland Detection Club by LarrySun(op): 9:25pm On Feb 17, 2013
Redmoss totally redirected the flow.

As intriguing the chapter is, there is an irregularity in the narrative techniques. The first two chapters were written in the past tense narration while Moss used the present. It's either Red is unfamiliar with the past tense narrative technique or he imposed his own style.

Mynd_44: Why am I not surprised at this? Larry, your choice of words is somewhat.......vague.
Moss, would you also say kissing can likewise break one's virginity. It depends on how we individually see the S-word. Giving head or even saying obscene words might act as catalysts. It now depends on the party concerned to determine if he's really broken his mind's hymen or not (men and women alike).

brokoto: Can I make a suggestion? Yes!
Well, since it seems that Emefena's time has been shortened, is it possible to give her one extra day? I know it might encroach on the subsequent writers' time but it could be amended all round. Or are the set times cast in stone?

For this reason, I'll also advise that if any writer has his/her story ready before the deadline can just post it to avoid this kind of situation occuring again.

Redmoss, your excuse ehn...grin
You're right, sir. Let's wait and see Redmoss's update first. If we have to add one more day I'll change the time-table. Thanks for the suggestion.
