I doubt if Martin Luther would have been famous if he had called the whites pigs back then.

When you communicate, your words are directed to an audience.
You said up there that there's nothing wrong with being a pig or calling people pigs. I have to assume that kanu was standing before a heard of swine when he made this statement.

Seeking clarification is different from arguing Fyi

I just needed to get into your head and see why you reason the way you do. And I think I now have a good idea now. Wow! Very eye opening.

And from what I gathered so far I will join in begging Nigeria to grant Biafra speedily.

Let's separate pigs calling people pigs from human beings that refuse to be called pigs. And then build a five chamber pen for all the pigs to wallow in their muddy puddles.

Only then will Nigeria be free from hateful, Dirty and disrespectful utterances like yours and your likes.

I'm once again convinced that IPOB is a lost cause no matter how long you choose to live in denial.

According to the spokesperson of IPOB Emma Powerful, his lord and personal saviour Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the supreme leader has changed the meaning of the acronym IPOB. Emma further said this directive was issued by Nnamdi Kanu when he was addressing his fellow domesticated idiotic swine at his private pen in Umuahia, Abia State and all the news agencies both print and electronic media, journalist, and Nigeria at large should take note.

See jamb question!

The company in charge of the port spent a great deal to build/rehabilitate to world class standard ( That port is the most modern in Nig) . So they r trying to recover their money as quick as possible and at the same time govt taxes persists while using the port. That's why imports tro Onne are expensive and everyone runs to Lagos. It's actually the fault of no state govt. It's a federal govt problem. We have a failed Central govt.

Even if the state govt invests money in building a port today, the federal government will still collects taxes, thus reaping from where they didn't sow!
Guy, there are still ways round it. sad Let your Senators, House of Reps members etc., table this issue in all their state and federal house of assemblies, as well as within the Senate. Let them seek an audience with the company, Minister of Transport, those in authority etc., and renegotiate favourable commercial terms with them, that would benefit non-oil importers. If it means extending the concession granted to the company, so that they can recoup their money over a longer period, then so be it. But they need to make a move. Folding their arms and running to Lagos ports isn't going to solve the problem, in the long term. undecided Negotiation and renegotiation of commercial terms is practiced world wide in business circles.

Even the money collected from Lagos seaports goes to federal govt. But Lagos makes its money from the sub-contractors, ancillary service providers around the ports, and other businesses that spring up around the ports! sad

eCommerce is my fort.

Konga, Deal Dey are not owned by Nigerians either.
Yes, eCommerce may be your forte, but it would have helped if you had put your comments within the right historical context. sad Please just type in 'Founders of Jumia in Nigeria' into the Google search engine. And tell us whose names are listed on the front page as the founders.
How would you explain this?

Why Owners Of Jumia Sold Off Their Firm |

Jumia is rated as one of the thriving e-commerce brands in Nigeria. It became a household brand within two years. The owners’ decision to sell all their equity to some global investors has sparked interest, writes ADEDEJI ADEMIGBUJI.

Emotions ran high the day co-founders of Jumia Raphael Afeador and Tunde Kehinde broke the news to their young team of 500 experts at their Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos campus that new owners are taking over the business.

Inside the long horizontal office dormitory built beside their 90,000-square foot-warehouse, the largest campus in West Africa, where young men with an average age of 23 attend to thousands of online shoppers at the speed of light, Afeador, noted: “Jumia was an exciting one and a-half-year journey for us. We are extremely proud of Jumia and wish all the best to the company and all the people here.”

If Afeador’s message was not clear enough, his partner, Kehinde put the message succinctly. “As we move on to start our own businesses, we owe a lot to every member of the team, together we made history, together we have built Nigeria’s first and biggest online retail brand; a fate we never would have achieved without you.”

The meeting ended an era in Jumia, which has won several local and international awards for pioneering Nigeria’s first e-commerce website.

In a brand life cycle, the growth stage is a level when sales start growing exponentially.

During that stage, brand managers or investors often chart a new strategic direction to increase distribution to further enhance sales, according to netmba.com. As a strategic option, a company may also improve the quality of their product brands, adding various flavours or features as the success could attract one or more companies, more competitors into the market with their own competing brands; in effect, some competitors may try to lower prices to gain marketing share.

However, for the Jumia co-founders, to increase market share and sustain its leadership position against growing competition in Nigeria’s rising e-commerce market, bringing venture capital appears to have become the option. This option necessitated the founders’ exit, to build a new brand. Experts are wondering what could have pushed founders of such high networth company, to sell the brand to African Internet Holding, which is owned by a controversial German e-commerce cloning king.

The total global investment in Jumia later saw MTN, Rocket Internet and Millicom International Cellular acquire 33.3 per cent equity each in Africa Internet Holding, a partnership that will expand MTN online retail and other essential digital services on the African continent. http://www.theparadigmng.com/2014/02/19/owners-jumia-sold-firm/ ; https://ynaija.com/how-tunde-and-raphael-got-here-a-profile-of-jumias-million-dollar-ex-ceos/
Were Tunde Kehinde and his partner employed by Jeremy Hodara and Sacha Poignonnec to set up Jumia in Nigeria, or did Tunde Kehinde and his partner set-up Jumia on their own, only to later sell it off to Jeremy Hodara and Sacha Poignonnec?? shocked Which one? huh

Let me allow this one slide before they flood my mentions with tears. smiley

Edit:

In fact, let me bare a little bit of my mind.

These people who call themselves ipob yoots are the most brainwashed zombies I've ever seen my entire life! To these people, Kanu is TOTALLY INFALLIBLE, just like God!

These are people that would call others names like slaves and zombies and no one shows traits of these than they themselves.

When these people shift a goalpost, they don't shift it to another side of the pitch, they take it to an entirely different stadium!

Weren't these the same fools that kept pounding their chests, bragging how fearless Kanu is and how he would visit kaduna because he is a brave Ibo man and ibos aren't known to be cowards?

Why is the retraction coming on the heels of reactions from people of kaduna over his intended visit?

Now he's seen the likely outcome of his ill thought out plan and has taken a step back and these amazing fools who sang endlessly about his bravery are now those "thanking him" for "listening to their advice" to shelve his planned visit!!

This wouldn't be the first time we've seen this wierd display of mental slavery from them.

Flash back his alleged rejection of bail citing his consideration for the plight of other comrades of his lucked up in Kuje. When the news broke, these people praised him saying "we would have been surprised had Kanu accepted such zoo bail which would see the other still held in detention". They bragged "Kanu is not an Afonja renown for their knack for betraying their partners!" Couple of days later, boom, the same Kanu had fulfilled his bail conditions and bailed out on his comrades!! Did those who claim he would never accept the bail because he is not a betrayer show any sense of disappointment? Hell no! They took to the streets and celebrated Kanu's "Afonja credentials!"

They threw all what they said initially out the window!

About a week ago, story broke of how some "brave ipob yoots chased Obiano out of his church". These people thumped their chests bragging "this is just the beginning, Obiano and his zoo collaborators haven't seen nothing yet". Couple of days later, ipob leadership issued a statement denouncing the act saying "miscreants have infiltrated our ranks", sensing how stupid the act was. Now guess what the response of those who bragged about the act was to the press release - a complete volte face!

Now, these are but just a few classic cases of the behavioral pattern of a typical ipob yoot.

Zombies per excellence!

This isnt the first time they'd make such twisted turn over an issue and it wouldn't be the last.

EOD.

Now, y'all angry little things can crawl into my mentions and wail about Fulanis and Agatu. It is much expected. cheesy.

Somehow, I think the Kebbi State governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu is one of the very few governors in the North, that has his head screwed on right, and seems determined to make an impact. sad If you recall, he was the one that initiated the joint rice project with Lagos State govt., called LAKE rice. @Op what if it exploded while you were talking the picture?

Better mind your own business henceforth. They know the risk, hence the reason why they put it outside with a protective armor. If they can't pay the fee, leave the to pay the pain if any ever emerge.
It is still a risk, even though the cylinder has been placed outside. It is obvious that the gas valve on top of the cylinder is leaking, and that is why they have placed stones on it to stop the leak. But it won't work. The valve needs to be changed, once the cylinder is empty. It costs between =N=3,500 to =N=5,000 per piece. It can be changed at any DPR certified LPG refilling plant. It is better to spend a little amount to prevent a huge catastrophe down the line.
