nothing in their discussions so far involves atheism, I get this a lot from "intelligent" people like you, you can't get past labels or poisoning the well fallacy to have intelligent discussion and learn
all that's happened so far is "medical talk", nothing concerns "atheists", people that are engaging Spacetacular all claim to be in the medical field, a Christian also did for good measure
and this is the third time you're telling me you're done and its variations, don't you think you should put your money where your mouth is Continue ranting....Mr. Pseudo-intellectual.

In your own little world, using the phrase "leave the atheists alone," is synonymous with an atheism vs. theism debate? Feel free to continue ranting. Here, you can have the floor... |

hopefulLandlord: if you're smart enough to know 3+3=6 you would notice this post of yours doesn't in any way counter mine, I proved that this is not an atheist vs theist debate owing to the fact that the first person said he/she is a Christian and argued with another doctor who is also a Christian
its not a sin to study discussions and understand it, is it? And if you are smart enough to know that 4+4=8, you would have realised that my initial post was not focused on an atheist vs. theist debate. I merely objected to the fact that one doctor was attacking another doctor by questioning her credentials, simply because she had made a statement borne out of her beliefs. Abeg, just swerve and stop seeking attention like a toddler. |

about "holding on to belief" I'd expect people not only question my beliefs, but ridicule them when they're ridiculous. Someone who lets me keep believing the moon is made of green cheese isn't doing me any favors at all. And if you are smart enough to know that 2+2=4, you would have realised that the female medical doctor whose credentials you were trying to discredit, did not say anything illogical or out of the ordinary. The account given by the patient shows clearly that multiple tests were performed on him, by his Nigerian consultant as well as the Indian and Australian doctors, both before and after he suffered from the ailment. Are you saying both the foreign & local doctors were lying? As for saying the moon is green...surely, you exaggerate. That comparison does not correlate with the situation on ground. Now, if you'd still like to continue disputing the patient's account..... It is your call. I am done with you. |

Can't people hold on to their beliefs, anymore? Does it make you a bad doctor, if you believe in miracles? @spacetacular, you have made your point. It's increasingly becoming obvious that the North is tired of the Igbos and it's clear the the Northerners are more matured in their approach. No insults like the Biafrans, just facts as known to them. The debate will eventually force this govt to DO SOMETHING. Nonaira1: Yes the laudate that is not Afonja is continously found in every Afonja related topics defending afonja, stays in Igbo topics insulting and applauding anyone insulting igbo like a typical Afonja. Continuosly defending north like a slave like a typucal Afonja. Continously try to create aniomsity between regions like a typical Afonja. Yet the the disgust thinks he's fooling anyone that he's not Afonja funny enough, he denies being from north, middle belt, SS, SE and including Afonja ( must be an alien).
You can continue making a complete fool of yourself in pathetic attempt to shadow yourself of wtf you are....An AFONJA. There is a reason why since your shameless ass have been on this forum, the ethnicity associated to you by MULTIPLE people, be it old members or new members, have predominately been Afonja.
Stay deluding yourself that you are fooling anyone. The only person you seem to be fooling is your damn self.
If you like, ask me what year your parents bore your pitiful ass in your attempt to continously fooling yourself, I don't give two f2ks. Looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it's a duck even if it calls itself a dog.
Anyway I've said what I wanted to say, come Oct 1st, y'all better have listened to the quit notice and got the f2k out cause best believe, I'm joining any group that's chasing y'all MFs out. I want this shithole you call a country divide already, everything about you people makes me sick to my core. That's all I have to say Oh dear, I asked you just one question and you replied with an epistle? Chai!! Biaketa, gịnī ḳwọ bùḍù ̣ǹke à? Those Afonja people really cooked something for you to eat. That is why you are so obsessed with them, and why you see everyone as an Afonja. It also explains why you are frothing at the mouth, ranting like a psycho and throwing tantrums like a toddler. Eeyah! Obsession is bad for the soul. I know it offends you, each time I point out the folly of your kinsmen. If you interpret that as supporting the Yoruba people, then so be it. If you would like me to support your own folks, then let them do something logical, sensible and noteworthy, for once. Instead of spewing vitriolic insults and fanning the embers of hate just like you have done here. You cannot insult people into supporting your position. Or weren't you taught that in school? Now, as for the faceless multiple people that have attributed a particular ethnicity to me, that is their own problem. They were unable to provide proof. So why should I subscribe to their false claims? If someone calls you a name that is not your own, should you agree or dignify his claims by consenting to it? Now for the last time, provide solid verifiable evidence to show that Laudate is an Afonja. Include the name of his village, town or local govt area while you are at it. Make sure you also insert the name & title of his traditional ruler, as well. Every correct answer gets 20 marks. We are waiting!! Hehehehe.......

Obi1kenobi: There are loads of cities in the world with higher average rainfall than Lagos. Lagos also averages high annual rainfall due to the frequency of rains rather than the intensity. Lagos doesn't experience any intense weather conditions. You don't get cyclones or typhoons, hurricanes etc. Infact, in my time in the North, I've experienced far heavier rainfall than I ever have in Lagos and seen dangerous thunderstorms, flashfloods, hailstones etc which I've never seen in Lagos. These excuses don't hold up.
And Onitsha is not a coastal city. For starters, it is not located on the coast. Hehehe.... |

Residents of flood-prone areas need only acquire canoes, jet-skis and surf boards that they can conveniently deploy as transport for their work commute, on those days then flood-waters rise to neck-deep levels, and cars have to be parked submerged at home. Egbon, na your face be dis? Na your keyboard I dey see so, without collecting change? |
Politics › Re: Lekki Flooded After A Heavy Rainfall In Lagos State Today (Photos) by laudate: 2:22am On Jun 21, 2017 |
Obi1kenobi: That it clears in few hours is precisely evidence that rather than ecological challenges, it's infrastructural challenges that cause flooding here. The kind of challenges that have sacked communities like New Orleans would wipe Lagos off the map. Nigeria is a lucky country. I shudder to think what would happen if this country had tsunamis, earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, cyclones etc. We would have gone extinct by now.
The scenario is not "unavoidable" at all. Build expansive, closed, underground drainage systems that are integrated with municipal water treatment and supply faciities, and adequate channels, canals etc which drain out into the ocean and you'll see a stop to flooding. Keep digging 2-feet deep, open gutters flowing nowhere and blocked by garbage and waste and you'll keep getting floods. Bros, you are so right! May those who have ears to hear, get to hear, understand & accept your gospel.... |

0b10010011: If you familiar with Lekki, the flood will clear in hours. As for the countries you mention, do they have heavy liquefied down pour like that of lagos. No! The channel and canals you mentioned re there. It's just an unavoidable scenario! Its all round bounded by water and you can't just forcefully channel. You have to be patient.
Areas like park view, Banana, Osborne foreshore will continue to be like that cos of human encroachment is a point I was expecting.
Lagos still has a lot of land mass and it keeps concentrating on a spot! Oga, it will NOT clear in hours. You do not know that section of Lekki. That particular spot has a very poor drainage system. It will take another few days to clear. Our rich men and govt keep sand filling the lagoon and all available areas, in order to create high priced pieces of real estate for the nouveau riche. They have all sandfilled Lekki Phase 1 & Banana Island to the brim, and are still reclaiming more land from the lagoon, in order to increase the size of that area so they can sell more high priced plots, to the public. They have not paid adequate attention to proper drainage channels, culverts, blocked canals etc through which floods can flow out of the district into the lagoon easily, whenever there is a downpour. Anyway, na wetin concern me? Water will always find its level. It is the landlords in that area, that i feel sorry for.... |

Fact is the SS excluding urhobo, iteskiri, edo hates both tribes more than igbo FACT!!!
The North asked for igbo to leave, who told the same north to pack out of ND and it's oil as retaliation to that quit notice? SS. Did any igbo prompt them to do so? No
Last year both Afonja and their Arewa masters were threatened to leave ND by the militants. Igbos weren't included in their threat
They are deeply hated in SS as I am from the same SS therefore I tell you this as someone who is, born and raised there, igbo delta. Why do you think they try pitifully to create animosity between both regions
When Nigeria is divided, Igbos and SS would leave them, this is indeed a FACT...maybe not together but definitely one won't stay while another leaves.
Heck even the oil they scream out, Oyigbo is one of the areas feeding those parasites for years. Oyigbo is an igbo territory and,it is one the main reason their country is high oil producing. Google it
Stop wailing like a baby and be grateful they showing their true colors. If you remove Urhobo, Itsekiri, Edo, Isoko from the SS, how many tribes are left there? Two, three....?? Let us count. Please, what really happened in the last episode, didn't get to watch it.also @ laudate pls help me with the update of Friday episode, Seems a lot, happened. Please see the update here: Episode 238 Reach for the Stars: Scene 1 Raghav is in his car going towards the cliff. Pakhi stops at the cliff and starts going up a staircase. There is an alcove where she has kept Kalpana.
Pakhi says to her "See what you made of yourself in Raghav’s love. You have to suffer a lot, but you are still not understanding. You are still calling his name, over and over again. There he is still longing for you. I have done so much for him, but he still loves you. How am I supposed to bear that. I was never like this. I never wanted to hurt you and Kamla maa. I just loved Raghav that was my fault. I have called Raghav here but he will still be unable to find you." She goes out.
Raghav arrives at the spot, where Pakhi had asked him to meet her. Raghav reaches the cliff and sees Pakhi. He comes to her. Raghav slaps Pakhi on the face. She says what was it for? For my love or for my friendship? He says you have turned into an animal. You have cheated Kamla maa, Kalpi, me. Pakhi says its everyone’s right to love and to get it. Just like you can do anything for Kalpi, I did this for you. All this is not wrong.
He squeezes her shoulder and says "Where is Kalpi?" She smiles and says at least you touched me. He leaves her. Pakhi says lets run away from all this to where just and me will be alone. Raghav grunts where is Kalpi ? He starts screaming Kalpana's name. She tries to make some noise so he can hear. Ragav is repeating her name over and over again.
Kalpana drops a bucket and Ragahv listens to the sound. Just then Raghav hears the sound of a drum falling down, and goes in that direction and finds Kalpana there. He turns and throws Pakhi aside.
Pakhi says Raghav stop please. She runs after him. Raghav runs up the stairs and sees Kalpi tied up all in ropes. He goes in and says are you okay Kalpana? Forgive me please? He undo the ropes. He hugs her and says "I didn’t trust you Kalpi, just because of my mistake this all happened." Kalpi says its not your mistake, everything will be all right. I knew you will never deceive me. Nothing happened between you and Pakhi that night. Ragahv recalls Pakhi pretending like something has happened. Raghav says lets go we will discuss all that at home.
Raghav takes Kalpana along with him in his car, and Pakhi too follows him in her own car, pursuing him. She tries to force Raghav to stop, but in a surprising turn of events, Raghav's car falls down a cliff and catches fire.
By the time the police gets there with Gauri, Kamla, Vitthal etc., they can only see the car deep down in the valley, going up in flames. Vitthal tries to jump down into the valley and get to the car, but he is restrained by policemen. Pakhi and Gauri are hysterical. Vitthal blames Kamla's for her wrong decision and her blind trust in Pakhi, for Kalpana's condition. http://www.desitvbox.net/ek-mutthi-aasman-30th-July-2014-written-update/ "https://www.youtube.com/embed/m9u5L5eN_7E?ecver=2" http://video.india.com/family-drama/full/32877/1/ek-mutthi-aasmaan-23-july-episode-238.html Episode 239 Reach for the Stars: Scene 1 A man comes and tell Pakiya that Kalpana and Raghav had an accident. Pakiya asks is Kalpi okay? He says I can’t say anything. Nettu tries to console him. Vitthal come there and says "Don’t touch my son. Its because of you rich people my daughter is suffering all this. I will not let you stay here." He throws her out and says get out. Don’t even come near my house. She says where will I go? He says I don’t know. Go be a maid or whatever. Leave. Kamla is still at the temple, sitting all upset.
Vitthal asks Pakiya to go to her. Pakiya goes to Kamla and says father and I went to police station. They sent a team to find Kalpi, but they couldn’t find her. Will she be okay ? Kamla replies, give your father some food he is hungry. He weeps and says he won’t eat.
Scene 2 Kamla and Pakiya are asleep. Vitthal comes in with the tea. He says get up Pakiya and take this tea. He has placed a cup near Kamla. She gets up and sees the cup. Kamla goes in the balcony and sees everyone working in the café. Manda places a garland on Kalpi’s picture. Kamla goes there and throws it away and says 'Kalpi is alive.' Manda says Kamla don’t be mad. That is a forest she can’t be safe there. Kamla says I don’t care she won’t go anywhere. She is alive and she is well. She promised me that she will never leave me.
Kalpana is almost drowned in a stream. Two fishermen come and see her. They carry her into their boat.
Kamla says I promise you Vitthal I will bring back your daughter. She says my Kalpi will come back for me,for her family and for my trust/ She can never leave me.

Deeldorado: Well, I'm not an advocate for a Biafran state but an advocate for a more meritocratic and inclusive system in Nigeria that promotes equal opportunities for all. If there is a Biafran Republic however, the scenario you painted will not occur because it will become the 17th member of ECOWAS whose treaty allows for the free movement of labour, capital and other factors of production across member states. Go back and study the ECOWAS Protocol on Free Movement and read Article 4 with an analytical mind, before you respond. |
