We are not ibo and have nothing to benefit by collaborating with you.

We don't speak the same language, we don't have the same culture, you are into Judaism while we are mostly Christians but have tolerance for Muslims like Asari Dokubo and our brothers in Auchi as well as traditionalists.

We cannot comprehend why you want your own country yet state you want others of different tribes to merge with you.

Are you after our resources?

Are you after our oil or seaports?

What's the sense in merging with you?
Na wa, o!! shocked May God give them the ears to hear you, Oga. How many times must everyone tell these IPOB propaganda specialists the same thing??! shocked Even those communities from the plains of Idoma Land and Igala Land have refused to be part of their so-called Biafra. They have notified everyone through the print media, spoken it on the radio and confirmed it on TV. Yet these IPOBians refuse to listen.... chai! angry Are they hard of hearing?

Politics › Re: Yorubas Are The Main Progenitors Of Hate Speech And Discrimination by laudate: 3:18pm On Jun 15, 2017
12Monkeys:
The Nigerian Govt was able to wage a highly sophisticated propaganda hate machinery against the Igbos in order to rally support among Nigerians to fight a very un-civil war.

The Nigerian News network and that of Radio Nigeria broadcastted hate speech in the form of an opening montage for their news sessions.

The theme song for NTA back then was sang in Hausa degenerating the Igbos with phrases like "we will defile their women", "we shall avenge each of our murdered brothers with a thousand of their men".

The hate propaganda against the Igbos was a rallying point of all Nigerinas to be reunited in a quest to punish and forcefully re-annex the new Nation state of Biafra back into the colonial contraption.

The propaganda machinery had its headquarters in both London (BBC Hausa service) and Radio Nigeria (based in Lagos).

At the end of the war, the propaganda against the Igbo was officially discontinued by the Federal Govt but the hate filled Yorubas who had grown accustomed to listening to hate speech against Igbos continued propagating that hatred through their children till this day.

If you must speak of hate then ask your fathers and mothers why omo Igbo is such a Taboo.

While the Hausa-Fulani's hatred for the Igbos is no different than the same disdain they hold for every other "Kafuri" people ( Yorubas included), the main motivator for Igbo hatred in the north is not based on any political differences but rather out of a fundemantalist Islamic decree to subdue and enslave non Muslims in their midst to which Igbos in the north are the most visible minority.

The Yoruba hatred for the Igbo is generationally handed down hatred from father to son, from mother to daughter stemming out of pure hatred and wickedness.
Eziokwu!! shocked See this long epistle! E be like say di 'juju wey those Yorubas cook for una people still dey work, o! shocked Wey my zobo, sef? huh Ehm, na wetin Radio Biafra dey talk dat time about all the other tribes? I dey come, first....
Politics › Re: Ambode And The Meaningless Ajah Fly-over by laudate:
IVORY2009:
I think the op is saying something really great for people who lives in Ado area, the Langbase/Ado road is meant to be a two lane road for both in coming and out going cars, but you discover dat one lane has been taken over by street beggers and motories that park along the road, then not forgetting tipper drivers that fly that road on a daily basis, I think there should be a law, to solve that issue, den @ Ilaje bus stop, those buses carry passengers should be moved to the park, same @ the bus stop @ wonder-city church!
Thank you, o! sad Too many cars & tippers parked on either side of the road, cause a lot of congestion on that axis. The day, one VIP was coming there and they put mobile police and all sorts of security agencies there, there was no traffic. Everything moved seamlessly....

wristbangle:
Sir, you can convey your message subtly without mentioning the bolded. It's pointless because you don't know who is viewing your comment. Internet never forgets.

However you have made a reasonable point because the Ado single carriage way cannot bear the traffic heading to the 3 carriage way flyover. Until Ado road is expanded to atleast dual carriage way, such traffic gridlock won't stop.

This is an opportunity to inform Lagos state government to quickly do the needful before the situation gets out of hand but we must appreciate their little effort so far but it's not enough.
Ado road is not even a single lane type of road. It is just that on either side of the road, you would see several cars parked there along with Tippers, Danfos and other heavy-duty vehicles at intermittent points, (which all have no business being there) thereby narrowing the remaining space that is left for vehicular traffic. Ilaje too needs to be heavily decongested, as the inflow from that place contributes to the heavy traffic on Ado Road.

Prior to the fly over, we spent 5 to 10 minutes to turn to Ado road but we now spend 10 to 20 minutes; what is now the essence of the fly over. The Ado road has a bottle neck and he is expecting 6 Vehicles or more to go in at the same time
You spent 5-10 minutes before the flyover was built? I find that difficult to believe. I have spent nothing less than 30 minutes at that Ado junction before that flyover was built on many occassions..
Politics › Re: Ambode And The Meaningless Ajah Fly-over by laudate: 2:15pm On Jun 15, 2017
DamiBukola:
This is a clarion call to Ambode to use his head when next building a fly over, the fly over is of no use. It is not serving the purpose it was built for, indeed it was a waste of public public.

I will snap the traffic gridlock the fly over built by the brainless man constructed and was been praised by fellow brainless Nairaland.

How can you built a fly over that will see 6 lanes diverting to just one lane Ado road?
Were you not taught how to be polite when exchanging online views? How can you call fellow Nairalanders, brainless? shocked The problem with the Ajah gridlock is not the flyover. It is totally man made. sad

it is caused by Danfos picking and dropping passengers carelessly on the same road, just beside the flyover that leads to the Ado road junction under the bridge, kabu-kabu drivers stopping anywhere they like in that same axis with LASTMA people turning a blind eye to them, the unsightly, congested market located right at the entry to Ado road, which should have been relocated long ago, due to its propensity to cause traffic etc. undecided

For those going to Sangotedo, Awoyaya, Lakowe, Ibeju & Epe, that flyover is Godsent!!

ZombieTAMER:
The flyover is not useless
Just that a lot of work needs to be done all around that axis to make it more efficient

1. The bustops at both sides of Ilaje needs to be moved.. Those drivers are not helping matters at all even with the Lastma officials there

2. Ado road should be expanded .. The traffic there is mind blowing... It wasn't designed to carry such traffic
Exactly!! Thank you, o! shocked Also, the side roads from the Lekki-Epe expressway at the turn off behind Dominos, the Ajah Police Station and that RCCG parish, need to be tarred and used as an alternative route to enter Thomas Estate and link up other parts of Ado Road.

This is a situation where writers are bargaining better payments. Had you offer a little incentive, perhaps, that would have been better. But entirely free?
You obviously do not know nor appreciate the value of great content.
That is why a lot of blogs are so dull & boring. They all recycle the same news and info. Many of them do not even bother to give credit to their sources. All they do is copy & paste. No originality, no knowledge, no innovation. sad All they are after is the revenue that they can get from adsense etc. I don't blame them. I blame the writers, though.

THIS ARTICLE IS THE BOMB!
Landlocked South vs Deadlocked North
Who actually has the padlock?? Who has the keys??
By Bishops Edwin
.
This Hausa man took a deep cut of his gworo and said to me, "Biafra will be landlocked, over populated, they will loose so much wealth and the separation will most likely be a war"..
.
I sipped my wine, because I knew he was on the cheapest fears and I said to him,"I have all the keys to those pad locks"..
.
First look at these..
Two scenarios.. A Biafra with the south south and another without the south south.
Without the South South... How has landlock stopped a nation from growing? In this era of Antonov An-225 Hercules planes that can lift over 450000kg equivalent to almost 2 ships and who remembers a SEAPORT in this generation of INTERNET-PORT when 85% of world's transactions are done through high speed broad band Internet. Gambia, Togo, Benin, Mauritania, Guinea etc all have unlimited assess to the sea.. Ha ji ya mee gini?? Are they in anyway doing better than Rwanda, Bostwana and little Djibouti. In fact Djibouti is servicing 25 African countries with its Antonov plane nicknamed SKY-PORT that covers its most distant point in Africa from Djibouti in 18hrs while it will take 3 days to move a 40ft container from Apapa to Aba.. Rwanda without a StreamPort nor RiverPort, not to talk of seaport is Africa's best growing economy!
.
In Europe, the PIIGS (Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Greece and Spain) have a peninsulaic access to the sea, whenever the storm of recession comes, it first sweeps them into the same damn sea, they are Eurozone weakest nations while landlocked countries like Luxembourg, Austria and Germany are waxing strong.. As in ha kwu chim n'ala...
In Asia, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Dubai are not only landlocked but desert locked and how has that affected them?.. Who sea epp??
If the SS is not Biafra, there are various international corridors and laws that can sort things out, not forgetting that a greater communication with that region must cross through the South east (Biafra)..
But if the Yoruba republics are declared and the complete anticipated Biafra is pronounced with the SS.. Then the north is simply DEADLOCKED and then mallam, I will advice you to chew less of this gworo now, so you can have what to eat then...
.
On the population, what laws says all Biafrans must live in Biafra land.. What percentage even lives in the north?? Less than 3%!!!.. Yes..
when you go to some places in the south east, the population looks like there is a festivity going on but you must admit that the Greater Tokyo Metropolitan has a population of 37million people and Monaco has a density of 22500 per sq. km.. I don't see people walking on the heads of others there, rather I see a China, India, Japan, USA, Mexico that has harnessed and muscled the strengths of their population into development.. Even Lagos explosively developed due to population increase, that people had to push back the sea.. 1000 skyscrapers in Biafra land, in no joke will solve the housing problem of Biafra by 95%!.. Take this to the bank!
.
On Biafrans loosing their wealth, I need not go outside Nigeria for an answer.. In 1970, Biafrans got £20 and in 1975, there were millionaires already in Biafra land, the likes of Chisco, Ekene Dili Chukwu, Emeka Offor and even in 1979, Alex Ekwueme single handedly sponsored NPN to presidency that he was rewarded with a VP seat... Now show me one man, east, south, north and west that is wealthy from all the inheritance of the abandoned property??
The north is still underdeveloped, impoverished and incomparably out of tone with the 21st century...
.
On separations meaning a war.. This defines the sum of the accumulation of the northern cowardice, as if Russia broke up through a war, what about Eritrea? Singapore and Malaysia??.. There are more peaceful resolutions to conflicts than the vampire attitudes of the north but let it be clear to you mallam, eshi à muru dike na mba, ka à muru ibe ya!..
.
The problem of the North is that they are brainlocked, spirituallocked, psycholocked, greedlocked, futurelocked, even landlocked and above all DEADLOCKED by their ancestors who have long lost the keys to UNLOCK them and yet they want everyone to synchronize with their backwardness and then still think its about PDP vs APC.
This was the same type of propaganda that was used to deceive your forbears in 1967, just before the bearded general declared secession. sad He used hypnotic high-falutin' phrases such as these ones to lull them into a false sense of security, and gained their confidence. By the time they realised khaki no be leather, water don pass garri. Keep dreaming, bro'. Dawn go soon break... sad

I see this naivety all the time and I find it very funny to believe people actually think this way...My dear, the new countries will likely come up with policies that put their own people first and ensure prosperity... The laws that allow you open 'shop' anywhere and anyhow will no longér b in place ...permits will be issued to foreign investors and this will be regulated and their will be minimum monetary requirement to ensure only those with money to invest come in with that visa category and the era of flooding other territories with nylon bag in hopes of hitting it big will be over....Lastly the new countries hold the right to nationalize worthy businesses and revoke Titles to landed properties ....The only negotiating factor is what Biafra too has to offer the other nationalities.. .that is what will decide what they relax and allow you to do in their own lands as well
You dey mind dem? shocked This issue has been discussed on a number of threads, but they keep recycling their cut-and-paste erroneous views, in the hope that they can brainwash Nigerians into buying their misguided hypothesis. You saw flights taking off but oblivious of where they are heading to?. Go to that airport and board a flight going to China, Malaysia, UK, Canada, UAE, etc. What is there to make it international? The highest distance any flight can take from there is either to Lome' or Ethiopia . Do you think it's everybody that's comfy travelling by land from south east to Lagos just to board an international flight? What about those travelling to Lagos or Abuja every week to the embassy just for interview alone? Spend money to lodge in hotels if the interview fails to hold? This is just one out of many. So anybody that supports these injustices is just a wicked soul.
Do you know anything about international diplomatic practice? sad Embassies are located in the political capitals of the host country. They don't just open an office at every junction, as if they are retail branches of a commercial bank.

In very few cases, they may open an additional consular office or a deputy high commission (e.g. in Commonwealth countries) in a place where a high proportion of their citizens are resident, outside the political capital of the host country.

As for international flights taking off from your region, you chaps have had South-easterners as Ministers of Aviation in the recent past. Do you remember Kema Chikwe, late Ojo Maduekwe and even Stella Ada Oduah? What did they do about it? undecided
