Nah... you have not learnt anything. Didn't you read what was posted below;

naptu2: Constitution Of The Federal Republic Of Nigeria (1999).

97. The business of a House of Assembly shall be conducted in English, but the House may in addition to English conduct the business of the House in one or more other languages spoken in the State as the House may by resolution approve.

Guy, take it easy. They are welcome to buy more properties in Lagos. The day their Biafra comes into existence, they will transfer those houses and lands within Lagos into Chisco buses, and carry them to the East! cheesy

Jude Idimogu should resign and allow a Yorubaman to take over. He is not fit. The constitution from 1979 todate allows a free use of Hausa, Yoruba Ibo and English Languages in all educational and legislative institutions in Nigeria.
Resign, ke?? Why?? Mba! All he has to do is get a lesson teacher to teach him how to read and write Yoruba, by force by fire! grin Isn't it strange that someone can live in Lagos for several years, and still fail to learn how to speak the language??

The only way Lagos can avoid having a Governor of Igbo extraction in future is for yorubas to join hands with their kiths and kins in Benin republic and declare a sovereign Odualand. Instead of doing Abubaku for 'One niggeria' and threatening Biafrans with 'if you go, we'll kill you'.

All these online rantings won't move a hair. Else, yorubas should get used to one 'nigger area' with a robust possibility of an Igbo governor in future. I'm sure many are still shocked that Igbos won elections in their father's compound. lol
Hmmn.... another dreamer. cheesy

Shymm3x:
But why always Igbo? Fulani took the heat off them for a few days but they just weren't having and had to go commit a next atrocity on a next land to keep the people talking.

I have never seen a group as problematic as Igbos - ever. When they are not being disrespectful to traditional stools that existed way before they could stop mumbling and start speaking an intelligible language. When they are not claiming they own 200% and developed a next person's land, they are claiming that they're the best thing since slice bread disrespecting people's culture or somewhere trafficking drugs in suicidal hustle in Asia - while moaning and giving useless ultimatums. These folks are a menace and someone needs to save them from themselves before they self-destruct. It must be generational post-traumatic stress due to the Biafran war. Unlike the savagely Fulanis that I can't stand - I actually feel sorry for Igbos. Something isn't just right with these people mentally.

Anyway, Igbos and Fulanis are two sides to the same coin - one is a Muslim extremist group, while the other is a Christian extremist group. Both are a nuisance.
Please stop using the word Christian to describe them. Do you know what it means to be a Christian? It means being 'Christ-like,' (i.e. having the character and mien of our Lord Jesus Christ). Now can you tell me that these ones on NL are Christ-like in any way?? shocked

i hate on sided stories.

Are you aware that wen the biafran soldier decided to advance on lagos the midwestern council voted to let them pass without resistance? Are you aware of this that at the begining of the war d bini people had no problems allowing u guys to pass?

What was the result? Asaba and bini was looted! In bini in particular there was large scale raping and killing by d same biafran soldiers who were offered safe passage!

Because of the genocide th NA committed few people talk abt the atrocities the biafran soldiers committed. The biafrans were later halted in ore and forces to retreat.

This is the 1st time i'll hear an ibo claim that edos were against them and going abt killing them in d civil war.
Yeah.... I heard about this. Did you also read about the massacre of civilians at Abudu, during the civil war?? shocked huh

BIAFRA: The Untold Story of Nigeria’s Civil War – Part 2
~Secret American diplomatic dispatches, spread over 21,000 pages, provide previously unknown information about the Nigerian Civil War~

In a confidential report of 15 October 1967 recorded that, “as the Biafrans retreated from Benin to Agbor, they killed all the men, women and children they could find who were not Igbos. The town of Abudu, one of the larger places between Agbor and Benin lost virtually of its population with the exception of a small proportion that fled into the bush.” The British expatriate teacher, Anthony Charles Stephens was killed there when he refused to surrender his car to the retreating Biafran forces. Father Coleman an Irish SSMA priest said before Biafran troops left Agbor “without a fight” they killed off most of “non-Ibo men, women and children.”

Everyone tells his story. You cant tell yours and tell mine aswell..it is not acceptable.

Ikwerres have told the story of their origin, and the reason for the assumed similarity between them and Igbos..because Igbos arent comfortable with Ikwerre history that clearly and truthfully explain the situation of things, they now resort to insults on Ikwerres.

Ikwerres do not care how the Igbos feel about our documented history..We will stick with our history and proudly restate it over again when necessary...Igbos shouldn't waste time and energy bothering over issues beyond them.

Ikwerre remain neighbours with Igbos, neighbours courtesy of migration..aside that, nothing else.

Hope is at hand.
