Xpaz: Maazi laudate. Is that all you HV to say? why not abuse them and ridicule them? why not tell them to respect the host or get kicked out? but instead you are here begging them to leave your tribe men and look elsewhere. mumu. na only for Igbo matter way you and your coward tribes men dey get mouth and prick to do Mouth Action and masturbate on. mumu kip begging them to spare your tribes men. Hehehe...another clueless drifter blaming Laudate for not responding according to his pre-conceived juvenile yardstick or notions. May thunder fire you one million times over. If you need my help in lambasting the Yoruba or Fulani, please can you kindly come out openly to admit you are a coward, seeking my assistance instead of hiding under your hypocritical attacks using this post? Oh, you are waiting for Laudate to help you tell them to 'respect their hosts or get kicked out?" You are too clueless, cowardly and daft to carry out that simple task by yourself??! Geez! Wonders will never end.... everybody, come and see the true coward, here o!And like the rest of your intellectually-challenged e-warriors, you just could not help yourself....so you reached for the tribalistic handle to cry out like a school kid: "you are here begging them to leave your tribe men and look elsewhere. mumu. na only for Igbo matter way you and your coward tribes men dey get mouth and prick to do Mouth Action and masturbate on. mumu. kip begging them to spare your tribes men." Cry me a river, nitwit. How did you come to the infantile conclusion that these are Laudate's tribesmen?? Like I keep asking you and your brethren, please just provide proof to show that these are Laudate's people. If you do not, may it never be well with you in this lifetime and the next! As for dishing out abusive words, that is your forte. You were raised using abuse, and trained to only express yourself along the lines of abusive words and ridicule. I do not engage in abuse or ridicule, if anyone does not inflict such stuff on me first. If you decide to provoke and engage me using abusive words, I will surely respond to you in kind! You do me, I do you...God no go vex! Continue taking panadol for the Kabba people's headache! |

cheruv: I checked the response line to see if laudate replied but lo...the shameless one kept mum. Its just clear that Yoruba who claims he's Edo couldn't mutter anything useful but gibberish unlike the situation in Igbo threads where he'd come to masturbate in addition to use of Google aided translation of Igbo to conceal his bigotry I dontve much to say...except that Igbos arm themselves like Nnamdi Kanu has always suggested kos just like the coming inferno,we must participate fully in it!
One more thing...buhari at the UN has endorsed our right to independence! Hehehe...just when I thought there were some reasonable Igbo left on NL, you just debunked my optimism! May a thousand flies infest your armpit, if you do not provide proof to show that Laudate is Yoruba, Edo or whatever ethnic group you are trying to flaunt on this thread. You are either blind, deaf or daft to keep recycling this jargon, when I have asked you many times for proof to substantiate your juvenile drivel. If you feel my usage of Igbo is wrong or inaccurate, please point out in chapter and verse what makes it so. Is it my fault if you cannot speak or write your own language??! Chai! If you use Google translation services to translate Igbo, it means you are sadly deficient in a language that you claim is your heritage. Don't think everyone is as clueless as you are. Your envy will send you into an early grave, if you are not careful. If you are humble enough to ask for tutorials, I just might oblige you! Here is an excerpt of an article on his biography BIOGRAPHY OF CHIEF ANTHONY ENAHORO
Chief Anthony Eromosele Enahoro, the Adolor of Uromi (22nd July 1923-15th December 2010) was one of Nigeria’s foremost anti-colonial and pro-democracy activists. He was born the eldest of twelve children in Uromi in the present Edo State of Nigeria. His Esan parents were Anastasius Okotako Enahoro (d. 1968) and Fidelia Inibokun née Ogbidi Okojie (d. 1969).
Chief Enahoro has had a long and distinguished career in the press, politics, the civil service and the pro-democracy movement. Educated at the Government School Uromi, Government School Owo and King's College, Lagos, Chief Enahoro became the editor of Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe’s newspaper, the Southern Nigerian Defender, Ibadan, in 1944 at the age of 21, thus becoming Nigeria’s youngest editor ever.
He later became the editor of Zik’s Comet, Kano, 1945-49, also associate editor West African Pilot, Lagos, editor-in-chief Morning Star, 1950-53. Chief Anthony Enahoro's attempt to move the motion for Nigeria's independence in 1953 failed. His motion was rejected by Parliament and the northern MP's actually staged a walkout as a consequence of the attempt.
The successful movement of the motion for Nigeria's independence did not take place until 1958. After Enahoro's initial attempt in 1953, Chief S.L. Akintola attempted to move the second motion for Nigeria's independence in 1957, and though his motion was passed by Parliament, it was not acquiesced to by the British colonial authorities and it therefore failed. The successful moving of the motion for Nigeria's independence did not take place until August 1958 and this was done by Chief Remi Fani-Kayode.
Fani-Kayode's motion was not only passed by Parliament, but it was also acquiesced to by the British. His motion had called for independence to be granted to Nigeria on April 2nd 1960, and though it was passed by Parliament and acquiesced to by the British a slight amendment proposing that the month of independence should be moved from April 2nd to October 1st was proposed by a fourth motion to Parliament by Sir Tafawa Balewa in 1959 and it was passed. As a consequence of that Nigeria gained her independence in 1960.
Married 10th January, 1954 to Helen Imayuse Ediae, daughter of Chief J. Ediae Idahosa, Aiwerioba of Benin. Blessed with five Children, four boys and One girl.

Pls , you re still repeating those places you mentioned b4 except gbagada. To me the road network in lagos is poor, I am not happy about it cos it s a mega city and home for all tribes. Gbagada is close to bariga, and it s not that bad but I don't really fancy the area.
Lagos state gvt should work on their roads, there many places in lagos state that re very dirty and you will begin to wonder what a city? Sincerely, there re many dirty places in lagos and bad road networks esp in okota, ilasa, oshodi, ijesha, ajegunle, and bariga. Repair of roads in Lagos is an on-going project. At least in Lagos, the proportion of roads that have been rehabilitated as well those currently undergoing repairs, is quite high. Lagos Island is surrounded by lagoons, rivers and water channels. It has even been said that some parts, are a few metres below sea level. Am yet to see any city in Nigeria, where the entire road network in every single area or community, is perfect. |

Ajao estate, the one in airport road or the one in anthony? which one? Cos they re not like new york to me.
The fed govt need to fix up this places you mentioned cos the beautiful city of victoria island is dying , just companies and few residence.
Mr edo man, I am in edo state now at lagos street, close to my friend hood. I don't like what am seeing. The roads re poor and your governor adams oshomole is just there doing nothing.
Nigeria ur country need prayer. Am curious. Your previous post was about Lagos being dirty, which was why your friend left. And that was what informed my response. Now, you are talking about flooding, which is a different thing entirely. Yes, whenever there is a downpour, Victoria Island and parts of Lekki get flooded. But within a few hours, the floods recede and the roads dry out when the rains stop. A lot of drainages were unblocked by Fashola's administration, and canals were also cleared to allow for free flow of floodwater. This takes place, on a relatively regular basis. Ikoyi, Gbagada, Ikeja GRA and old Yaba are still in relatively good shape. Lagos streets are still relatively as good as those in other cities. And your jibes are totally misplaced. I am not Edo. Your ability to comprehend the truth is so sadly lacking, that you have decided to foist another ethnic group's identity on me. Usually, the modus operandi of you and your brethren is to label everyone who disagrees with them, as Yoruba... or in some cases, Hausa-Fulani. You have chosen to come up with the Edo label. I've asked you on several occasions to provide proof that Laudate is Edo. Yet, you keep failing this simple assignment with flying colours. How sad. |

2. Yes we are building the prototype for 2m 3. It takes 14days to finish it and deliver it to your location 4. You source product for 420-500k to fill the tank, the tank has a capacity of filling 200, 12.5 cylinders, so you sell 3000 per bottle, that's 200*3000=600000 so u make around 100k-180k per product delivery, with the right marketing and location you can be doing this per week, so imagine 100k per week, 100000*4=400000 per month so in 6months it's 400000*6=2.4m you can add up the rest 5. A dpr license costs less than 500k Guy, 200 cylinders, ke? What about the 'dead stock' that always remains in the tank? And the small losses where LPG escapes into the air during the offloading and re-filling process? To be on the safe side... use 170 -180 cylinders per 2.5MT. |

MayorofLagos: Here is my opinion.
At such an important gathering where the 70th UN General Meeting coincided with a renewed effort by Biafrans for UN recognition, the prudent thing to do would be to stage a public rally in Manhattan, right there in Times Square, just walking distance of less than ten blocks from UN Hq, and also flood internet and social media with tag #biafra and draw public attention and make Biafra the new Palestine in the global conscience. If this had happened, global leaders attending UN meeting and the accredited Journalists covering the event would notice and the Nigerian delegate would be cornered to address questions unofficially and off camera. This will create a task agenda for investigative journalists who might end up championing the Biafran cause for global awareness.
Instead of thinking proactively along this line, Ibos, as typical for them to do, choosed to position their cart before the horse by beating down on Nigeria and using internet and radio to harass Yorubas and Hausas and thereby position Nigeria as the victim of Biafran aggression instead of the other way around.
When will these cowards get some sense and understand how to turn political opportunities into gains that favor their interest , when? Stop teaching them what to do. Haba! Let them figure it by themselves. They will just turn around to attack you unecessarily, for even teaching them how to get support, that will enable them actualise their dream. rolchi: Boss, I mean no disrespect! This current GMD comes across as someone who does not know about refining business and Engineering Project Management. His communication line does not exude confidence about the system. Trust me, I am not impressed with his media talks so far and I hope we will know more in the future.
Respect, Boss, respect!! rolchi: Ba7man, have you ever handled any project in any Oil/Gas business? Now, depending on the type of plant, there are different materials, equipment, skills to manage. For example, if you want to work or replace especially the top section of the FCC Column , you need almost a 250 to 300T Crane. Then go to Sarens to find out how much it cost to only transport only the Counterweights not to talk of the Crane.
This is the truth. Some of the steel required are not shelf material. They have to made specifically for you and the steel manufacturers will do that aafter they take your order and then schedule your quote. All these processes takes time and that itself means COST!
Top of the day to you! rolchi: I am not a fan of PMB, however, I have not faulted his appointment of the new GMD. I am only pointing out that the man seems not to understand the refineries deep enough. He is talking too much as a Professional in the Oil/Gas. Notice that CEO/MDs of even IOCs do not go to the press often. No they don't.
Believe me, for PHC to work close to installed capacity, you need lots and lots of money to invest in it.
In another news, he has given WRPC a 90D ultimatum to come onstream. This isn't too good. Any Engineer who knows any of the refinery will honestly tell you that that ultimatum he gave is not correct.
Do you know that a even small crack of 100mm length on a pressure vessel that you may not see with your eyes may shut down your plant and may take you weeks to find the problem?
I am being sincere Boss...may Nigeria be better! Guy, abeg it is enough. You have tried to make your point. And they are valid ones. I raised a similar issue on another thread a few weeks back, and people from the GMD's constituency wanted to lynch me on that thread. Thank God for the fact that most people are faceless, on the internet. The fact that most components of the refineries are even obsolete which makes the cost of retro-fitting huge, is another matter entirely. Just siddon dey look. And wait for another 6 months. Someone else would still open another thread on this same issue to lament about the sorry state of our refineries, despite the huge amount spent on them! 'Nuff said. |

Okanokan: What kind of Policy Statement from GMD is this? When one compare this faulty policy direction with the fact that 70% of our people are in the rural areas with no accessibility to them and the fact that empty gas cylinder is not the gas itself, coupled with the biting poverty across rural and urban divide in the country, one begin to wonder which kin people dey lead us sef. Am disappointed with the thought process of Mr Kachikwu GMD of NNPC. There is nothing wrong with this policy statement if the mode of achieving it, is carefully planned, researched, articulated and implemented in a way that benefits the common man, and reaches the largest number of communities. The supply chain and retail distribution channel strategy has to be methodically reviewed, and made to work effectively. How many petrol stations currently retail LPG gas in their outlets?? How close are these stations to the urban and rural areas? Where there are no petrol stations or gas plants serving a community, can LPG mini skids be set up, or LPG retail sales outlets? What is the ratio of gas refilling plants to the populace? Do we currently have 1 gas plant serving 1,000 homes or 10,000? These are the kind of things that need to be carefully researched and properly verified. If the number of gas bottling plants and petrol stations retailing LPG gas are few, how do we increase them? A lot of petrol station do not even sell cooking gas currently, and they need to be encouraged to do so. How can people in each community be empowered to own and refill their gas cylinders? Please note that these cylinders come in sizes of 3kg, 6kg, 12.5kg, 25kg and 50kg. There is no subsidy on LPG gas in this country, and the price fluctuates according to international rate. Everyone can choose the sizes most economical for their average family. A few LPG sales outlets are currently giving out cylinders at subsidized rates to new and existing customers, but each time you refill from them a small surcharge to cover cost of your cylinder is added to your bill. This enables you to pay off the cost of the cylinder in 6 months or less. In many rural areas, people have access to kerosene. If govt is serious about partnering with entrepreneurs in such areas, to build infrastructure for sale and storage of LPG Gas, then their objective can be achieved. But do the first things, first - put the storage and distribution channels in place in all local govt areas, by establishing new ones and overhauling existing ones. Train and certify the operators of such LPG retail channels on health, safety and prevention of fire/gas hazards to avoid accidents. After this is done, then you can commence free or subsidized distribution of gas cylinders to the populace through their cooperative societies and community associations, or any other means that can be found to be effective. The problem is often that people are not sincere in supporting such govt policies, on the butanisation programme. It is often poorly researched and implemented. They launch it with fanfare for like one month, but abandon it after 9 months with nothing concrete to show for it. There should be a policy monitoring and evaluation scheme to drive such projects, and constantly achieve set targets and goals. India, Indonesia and a few other countries embarked on similar programmes in the past and were very successful in getting their citizens to convert to using gas for their domestic, vehicular and industrial needs. |

2). If Saraki resigns, the alliance with PDP that brought Saraki and him to power would be severely threatened, and if Saraki leaves, Ekweremadu would be forced to step down;So it is in the interest of the Igbo, to support Saraki in order to protect Ekweremadu's seat. |

DInvertedHammer: Don't mind all the chest-beating by people who have nothing to lose.
The purpose of the publicity of his xenophobic attack aimed at the Igbo people have been achieved.
Dr. Ariyo is now a sitting duck and has been silenced forever on issues of importance both at work and politics.
People do not understand why prosecutors interview acquaintances, colleagues, others in court cases. It helps them build the character of the defendant. People who will benefit to this brouhaha are Dr. Ariyo's professional competitors, patients (very litigious in USA, if I may add), his wife (in case he wants to file for divorce) and others too numerous to count.
It is not necessary to discuss issues of this importance on NL which is more of a platform for comic relief. I went into the listserv where who-is-who of Nigeria that lives in USA/Canada are subscribed. Everyone there Yoruba/Igbo/Edo had their daggers drawn aimed at Dr.Ariyo for the stupid comments.
Some may think that it does not matter. But I will take you down a memory lane:
Ambassador Adefuye (Nigerian Ambassador to Washington) ran to Nigeria in 2014 when the letter he wrote to Mrs. Waziri (EFCC Chairperson) was leaked. Mrs. Warida lost her position because of that saga. When Prof. Aluko (Current VC of Fed. University, Otuoke) thought he was a xenophobic juggernaut, we went for him and the wife filed for a divorce. He stood to lose a lot, he had to send unreserved apology after the details of the divorce and his medications were sent to the listserv. And the Yoruba doctor that took it to higher level under the goading of Aluko was sued by Emeka Ugwuonye (the Havard-trained lawyer that was representing Nigeria Embassy Washington) and a lien was put on his property and other things he worked for in USA for years to offset the judgment against him. The doctor's life was never the same. He died of stroke and heart attack. And where was Prof. Aluko to save his friend? Luckily, he took that VC position at Otuoke to salvage his life. I can go on and on about many Nigerians that have lost jobs at reputable companies like Boeing, Northrop Grumman, etc. for stupid statements that they make online. First thing first, a lot of Nigerians can be very envious for successful peers. Why a sane being will arm those fellows with stupid (xenophobic) comments to mess up his/her life amazes me. Some people in Nigeria do not even know that hiring companies scope the internet to check on potential employees. And after hiring them, they still snoop on them. But a third world country like Nigeria will know nothing of such. Yes! Stupid comments can ruin people's lives here in USA. But the knuckleheads that don't know their left from their right will come here and spew rubbish.
Is Dr. Ariyo going to lose his license over this? No! But he has put himself in a very precarious situation. You can log on to medical doctor's review online and see the kind of reviews he is getting. People are not smiling. Someone mentioned hiring an IT guy to clean it up. Well, that fellow should demand a full refund from whoever taught him IT. The only information hidden online is the one on your mind that is not typed and sent over the internet. All that is needed is a court subpoena and bingo! Some people are just learners.
I will continue to follow this issue till we extract the punishment that Dr.Ariyo deserves. It is a case of killing a fly with a hammer to ensure that it is dead and perhaps serve as deterrent to others. If you live in Nigeria, feel free to say whatever. But if you live here and have a lot to lose, political correctness in all statements must be followed to avoid stories that touch the heart.
And the moderator that banned me, goodluck!\ The extent to which you would go, to ruin a person's career because of his misguided statements is interesting. I hope you would not talk the day the shoe is on the other foot, and an Igbo professional is being hounded by non-Igbos and brought to ruin, for his misguided statements on such non-Igbo people. I also hope that none of your folks will play the ethnic card, when the lives and professional destinies of such Igbo professionals, are at stake. Ozodi Osuji has written articles criticising the Igbo deeply. None of your fellow Igbo went as far as they have gone in Dr. Ariyo's case, to bring Osuji to book. Was it because Osuji was Igbo? |

superstar1: What part of it is not sensible to you?
Have you not heard of hacked account, cloned cards and hijacked personality profiles?
I never believed the story for once. Whoever believed that story can also believe I own Muritala M'hmed Airport or National Stadium.
No professional with career to.protect will dare use his real profile for such condemnable and damning act.
The miserable soul that hijacked his account, capitalised on his open support for the Oba, and played on Igbos emotions as usual, to.sow more seeds of discord. This matter get as e be, o! |

lastpage: Let us be honest with ourselves and stop being silly and bigoted.
A lot of Under-Grad girls are under 18 and their sexual experience with multiple men is beyond that of a GrandMa in most cases. Some of them have had serial abortion to-boot! Some of the ladies ranting here, regularly "CLIMB ARISTOS" that are older than Sanusi, for money! So, whats with these HYPOCRISY?
What are the "criteria for marriage" that Sanusi is expected to adhere to? Who sets those criterion? What does Nigerian constitution , or that of the UN Charter, say about Marriage-Age?
Where exactly has Sanusi breached ANY of this criterion/Laws? Show me and l will take it up with you.
Constitutionally, at 18, the lady is an adult, with universal suffrage and can aspire to ANYTHING, like ANYONE, in life.
Even in Europe and America, at 18yrs, you are responsible to yourself! Jailable for LIFE, if you commit murder!
So, whats the fuse about?
I know that this campaign of calumny, is from a certain part of the country whose stock-in-trade is HATRED for other tribes. I am a South Western, Christian and as l far as l know, Sanusi has not done ANYTHING against the law (Secular or Spiritual, Christian or Islamic) to justify these attacks.
On the issue of age, the fact is that: as long as both parties are of adult/marriageable age, the age difference between them is INCONSEQUENTIAL
In America, you see a Grandma of 70yrs marrying a 21yr old lad and you are like WTFK! .....but it does not make it bad or unlawful. When it comes to "two mature adults", LOVE TRANSCENDS AGE DIFFERENCE. I guess we all know the age difference between someone like George Clooney.. and his wife? I dont even want to go the way of the warped, perverted, twisted and mentally-deranged Lesbians and Homosexuals, that seems acceptable to you clowns!
Jealousy is also a major factor in all these, especially from most indolent and jobless young people. But it is not Sanusi's problem that your own parents are not of Royal lineage or put you in "pole-position" to pick and chose!
The best you can do is to work hard and put your own children at such advantage, if you will take time to spend your own time wisely rather than fuming HATE, FRUSTRATION AND ANGER on Sanusi!
Lastpage! Guy, SLS is just trying to look for excuses to justify his lust. Let us forget all his big grammar. The facts are simple. He has 3 wives already, as well as a large brood of sons and daughters. What does he need a 4th one for?? To wash his ascension to the throne?? By virtue of the fact that he is an Emir, all his existing children automatically become princes and princesses. There are courtiers and members of the royal household, who can teach them how to conduct themselves as royalty, if they had no inkling of what was involved prior to their father's turbanning as Emir. There is no law that says a king must have 4 wives, if the religious angle is discarded. I have met royal fathers from different parts of the country, with not more than 1 - 2 wives max. The value of a man's education and exposure is wasted, if he cannot change some of the existing customs and traditions of the monarchy, that do not add value to governance when he gets to a position of power. And that false notion that early marriages reduces prostitution is so far-fetched. There are numerous cases of women who got married at an early age to men old enough to be their fathers, yet they still look outside their matrimonial homes for affection. Haven't you heard of cases where the madam-of-the-house catches her fun in the arms of her driver, or any other male acquaintance? With all due respect, every prostitute was once a virgin. If you have ever worked with an NGO to rehabilitate ex-sex workers, you would be surprised to discover that some of them are even still married, or have been married before. It is a sound moral education and a principled upbringing imparted to children at a young age, and imbibed by them that discourages promiscuity. Am not bothered about the age difference between SLS and his new bride. Am only surprised about one thing: he already has 3 wives, why does he still need a 4th one? What will this new one do, that the others have not done? Or cannot do?? He already has several kids, both male and female. Why does he need additional princes and princesses?? To do...what, exactly? The National Population Commission advocates a maximum of 4 children, per family. If God has blessed you with more, no problem. But for tax purposes, you can only claim tax relief for a maximum of those 4 kids. But then, SLS is not interested in family planning issues, or the recommendations of the commission. He is now an Emir, and his subjects can pay enough royalties and offer him adequate gifts to sustain his opulent lifestyle. The late Are ona Kakanfo MKO Abiola discovered the hard way, that having multiple wives led to manifold problems. That was why he requested for a DNA test to be conducted on his children, before they could get a share of his estate. We are all witnesses to the cacophony that ensued, as a result of those directives which were carried out after his death. I just hope SLS will live long to enjoy this 18-year old 'fruit' of his labour. |
