Yes, thanks. but my client's budget is lower than 8 mill. ![]() |
Kindly provide the following info: a). What area along Monastery road in Lekki exactly, is it located? ![]() b). What kind of title does it have? Is it c of O, Excision or Gazette? ![]() c). What is the plot size? d). Is the area sandy or waterlogged? e). Is the area ready for immediate development (i.e. can you buy it today, start building tomorrow and move in once it is completed?) f). Finally, how much is cost per plot? Thanks in advance. ![]() |
That Ologolo road is heavily flooded at this point in time. You would need a truck to get access to the place right now, and even that truck might still sink in some areas of the road. ![]() |
emperorchedda:Ok, bros. I know that you are definitely gay. But don't compel me to accept your ridiculous wedlock, because of your deviant orientation! ![]() |
manie:Can you imagine??! ![]() God will not allow them to export such nonsense to Nigeria! |
emperorchedda:In homosexuality, the parents of the homosexuals and siblings who have a straight orientation are definitely unhappy that their son or brother is gay. This situation has torn apart a number of families. ![]() |
DidiLove1:The dents are all over the fenders, oh. Is that what is known as clean? ![]() |
emperorchedda:Guy, stop this your 'happiness' mantra, and look for more solid and compelling reasons. Nothing justifies shoving gay rights, down the throats of Nigerians. For your information, the 1st wife may be unhappy, but the 2nd wife as well as the man, are definitely very happy. So whose happiness matters most? The 1st wife who is in the minority, or the husband and his 2nd wife, who constitute the majority?? ![]() |
emperorchedda:And who says so? Abeg, my grandfather was a polygamous traditional chief and all his wives were happy. It was the norm in their own days. Nobody questioned it. Even in a monogamous marriage, the wife may still be unhappy. So leave that side, abeg. ![]() With regards to gays and LGBT folk, do you think their straight parents and siblings are happy? ![]() Abeg, happiness is a subjective matter. People should stop using that lame ephemeral emotion as an excuse to justify the 'so-called right's that gay folks are now trying to shove down our throats! Imagine a pastor being victimised for refusing to marry a gay couple. Nonsense! ![]() |
emperorchedda:What dirty rights are these gay people clamouring for, sef? Abeg, the freedom to swing your arm ends, where my nose begins. Gay people want to shove their so-called rights down everyone's throat. Why?? Make dem park well, jare! Let America legalise polygamy, since they are so fixated on legalising rights for everyone. |
Don't forget we are in the rainy season. Water levels have risen in Kainji dam and the other hydro-electric power stations. So they are able to generate improved levels of power, due to the higher water levels. Secondly, some of the rehabilitation works started by the power companies under the last regime are just being completed leading to improved transmission facilities, especially at the hydro stations. Once the rainy season goes down, the epileptic power supply will be back. The fact that some parts of the country enjoy steady power supply now, does not mean all other parts of the nation are enjoying the same thing. The level of power transmission lines and infrastructure in some districts is really poor and cannot support efficient electricity distribution. ![]() Finally, I posted this request in one of the other threads but no one has given me a response: Somebody should please advise me. If your pre-paid metre goes bad or develops a fault, whose job is it to get it repaired? Isn't it the Disco who is the offspring of PHCN/NEPA that sold it to you in the first place? What then is the use of the monthly charges the Discos deduct every month? Isn't it supposed to cover maintenance of the meter? Can someone help me out here?? ![]() |

Chai! Why are these Discos treating us anyhow in this country? Why? ![]() |
doublewisdom:Don't mind her. In her Eti-Osa constituency, her husband grabbed huge tracts of land from the indigenes of Ibeju-Lekki and paid them peanuts. In some areas, he did not even pay them anything, at all.The land that was earmarked for a hospital in Ajah area was also grabbed by her husband and turned into a housing estate for him to make money. She can keep giving out decoders everyday, I really don't care. ![]() She and her husband do not deserve anyone's applause until they return all they have grabbed from the Lekki indigenes, and ensure that the hospital is built. There are areas like Shapati, Bogije, Oribanwa, Eleran Igbe etc on the Lekki-Epe expressway that do not even have schools. Every afternoon, you see kids of primary school age playing in the sand because there are no educational facilities, in their area. The kids whose parents have money to spend, send their children to school in other communities and it costs almost 100 naira per trip, for them to get there every single day. They spend the same amount coming back home. But those are the lucky ones. The unlucky ones spend 3 times that amount. And for most of the people in those communities, the jobs they do are mostly menial jobs. Some are artisans. Others are petty traders. Yet they go through hell to get their children, educated. 90% of the inner city roads in Lekki are untarred, except for the few that have been done by a few private developers who build estates for the wealthy. Each time it rains, these untarred roads turn to huge pools of mud, and rivers called floods. What has Remi Tinubu done to ensure that the authorities upgrade infrastructure in the communities under her constituency? ![]() She has never advocated for schools to be built in those areas. From Victoria Island, to the Lekki Free Trade Zone (LFTZ) there is no single court house, no general hospital, no post office etc. There is very little to show for her 4 years as a senator. May she be voted out in 2019! AMEN! |
@johnstin: The 2.5MT to 5MT is a mini gas skid. What kind of digital filling heads/scales are you planning to install? Do you have a picture that you can share? How do you connect an LPG Dispensing pump to the tanks? It would be easy to kill 2 birds with one stone, by having an auto gas dispenser connected to the tanks, so you can fill cars and cylinders at different points, simultaneously. Does your cost include fire suppression systems? What is the average construction time for a mini gas skid? ![]() It is not advisable to construct an LPG plant in a residential area. It is best to look for a commercial site close to the expressway, where LPG trucks that need to carry out delivery of gas to the site can easily turn and manoeuvre their way in and out of the site. |
pweetiedee:Stop recycling or regurgitating falsehood! Those things can NEVER cure HIV. Stop misleading people on this thread. Free your mind and stop believing the deceit peddled by clueless people. ![]() |
tolaji:I truly feel sorry about your loss and my prayer is that the Lord God will comfort you, heal your pain and take away your distress within the shortest possible time. Do accept my condolences. Please file a report immediately with the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA). Lodge a complaint about the delay in administering the right treatment on your son, the lack of urgency in handling his condition when they knew it was an emergency, their nonchalance and unprofessional conduct. Include every other thing you can think of. ![]() What nonsense! A lot of medical people handle human lives with levity in this country and act as if they are doing the patient a favour, by offering him treatment. If you report this case to the NMA, it won't bring your son back but at least it may prevent the death of another child in the hands of these uncaring doctors! |
jogego:Guy, antiretroviral drugs are almost free in public hospitals. The only thing you pay for are the regular blood tests that you do to monitor your CD4 count and PCV levels.. There are also support groups in some government hospitals run by NGO's that offer support and counselling to people living with HIV. My church has done some work with those NGO and that is why we have some information about the condition. If anyone suspects he has HIV, please do not hesitate to go to the nearest government owned health facility. Private hospitals do not normally dispense ARV, as they do not have access to it. If you go to a private medical facility, they will refer you to a public health centre for treatment. |
peace12345:Why should I call? Is there anything that stops you from posting the location online if the land is genuine and available?? ![]() |
MPSA:Lagos has a population of over 10 million citizens. Did the OP interview up to 50% of them to arrive at his conclusion? He saw one or two people getting excited over an escalator and concluded that all Lagosians have not seen an escalator before, that is why they are excited. How silly is that? ![]() Yes, you are correct sha! I am not excited by the news because escalators are not a new thing to me. ![]() I get excited by more interesting things that add value to life & living, not a series of mechanical stairs! mtcheew! |
Ishilove:Abeg, this post is just too funny for words! ![]() |
Ishilove:Abeg, this post was too funny for words! ![]() |
free2ryhme:It depends on the location in Lagos, where he is renting the 2-bedroom. ![]() In some locations, he can rent a 2-bedroom for less than 600k. e.g. Lakowe in Lekki, Orile Iganmu, Mushin, Aguda, etc. |
intergral:LWKMD! Respect you forever, ke? In this century?? Stop telling tall tales, abeg! Slimzjoe:And when you are rich and have changed levels, you will then realise she is not your 'type,' or she is too old for you, or her behaviour has changed. You will then decide to trade her in for a sharper, younger, well-packaged junior model.... Carry on, it is easy to know when Naija men are forming! |
Ephemmm:The guy no get case, I swear. Something is following him from his village.... With 200k, he can do introduction & engagement or traditional wedding in the girl's family compound and then go to the court registry afterwards.Haba!! |
ttmacoy:Ok, thanks for posting the list of schools. A lot of Nigerian students are however not taking jobs meant for the British or EU people. Most of them take the dead-end jobs with low wages, that British & EU citizens do not want or the ones they hold in disdain. ![]() As to your question on if the Nigerian govt would react the same way, if West Africans flooded their markets to take jobs meant for their citizens, then I would advise the govt to check what gives those West Africans the edge over the local citizens in the job market. Then find out if the employers are bending the rules to favour these West Africans over the local people and why. A number of countries have a policy that bars employers from engaging foreign nationals to carry out a job as long as there is a qualified local citizen, to do such jobs. I believe that in the case of the UK, enforcing such policies and monitoring the activities of employers would work much better, than using non-EU students as scape goats. |
dapotemi:Thank you, jare! Your comments are one of the most sensible ones I have read in a long time! ![]() |
zicoraads:Guys, read the post again. Nothing stops the chap from renting a house and living there. This is someone that has bought 2 plots of land already in Osogbo. He already has a job, too. He is earning over 100k. There are people who earn less than that and are already married with a stable family. So what is he waiting for? He also has 600k in his account. He obviously does not love the babe. He only loves her capacity to earn money. Ok, if she gets a job now, and they get married.... does it mean he will divorce her, if she loses her job? Or if the organisation she is working for, decides to fold up or declare bankruptcy? ![]() N.B; This is a girl that is already doing fashion design courses oh. I am sure she will be able to fend for herself using that skill, if she is hardworking and determined. bigv:Bros, you are too correct. This your response is one of the best that I have read so far, on this thread. Abeg, collect one bowl of 'isi-ewu' and one chilled bottle over there. The drinks are all on me! ![]() |
ttmacoy:Bros, what is Nottingham's rating on the list of top schools in the UK? You had earlier made the comparison between Nigerians who went abroad in the old days to study and chose Oxford, Cambridge etc versus those going there now, who select East London Uni and others. So why use Nottingham as a yardstick? Is this the only uni in the UK that charges comparatively lower fees in the UK for non-EU students, when compared with other British universities?? Pls post the list of other universities whose fees are as low as Nottingham. Thanks. Like I added in my last post: "Finally, not every one is expecting the right to stay and work. But if it was a valid scheme in existence, at the time the student made a decision to go abroad to study, it might have been one of the factors that influenced the student to choose a British university, instead of a higher institution in another country. Some of the agents that market these British schools in Nigeria, often use it as a selling point to woo students to the UK. " Anyway, we get your message loud and clear. Oh ye Nigerians, stop going to British universities! They want just your money, but don't want you! And since they have failed to manage their immigration problems, they want to use you as scapegoats.... |
zilokontah:Hehehe.... hope more Nigerians will learn from this. Hypocritical Brits.. They won't say no to taking your money, but will give all kinds of negative conditions when it comes to the benefits that are supposed to come with it. |
