Buhari shid be careful what he does with this man. We have too many challenges in our hands already, enough of these distractions. I think he has learnt his lessons, he shud be let go. |

Science/Technology › 22-year-old Nigerian ‘invents’ Generator Whose Fuel Is Water – Not Petrol (pics) by LaurelP(op): 10:11pm On Feb 08, 2016 |
If you have memories of the past few months when you spent N200 or N300 or even more on a litre of petrol, and you’re already worried about your survival should another spell of petrol scarcity resurface, well, it does seem half of your problems have been solved.
The story has been online for a few days, and it is fast gaining traction: a Nigerian has sensationally “invented” a generator powered by water – rather than petrol, that fuel that sometimes is almost as expensive as gold.
In the real sense of it, an invention as this does not entirely render petrol useless; but if you no longer have to worry about petrolling your generator, why not?The biodegradable-waste machine from Baltimore, United States, KaroKanye Akamune shared photos of both the inventor and the invention, supported with a post that reads:
“A Nigerian, Emeka Nelson, creates an electricity generator that is powered by water. He also invented what he calls the ‘MGBANWE C12′, a machine that turns non-biodegradable wastes like plastics, waterproof nylon, etc into petrol, kerosene, diesel and some other heavy oils and interlocking stones. In the pictures: L-R: the Hydroelectric Generator and MGBANWE C12.
Creative and inventive minds in Africa should be identified, supported and celebrated. Instead of marrying a 3rd wife or building a 4th house you would hardly ever sleep in, invest that money in people like Emeka Nelson. African ‘angel investors’ must arise!“You may not have money to invest. But you can share this post. You can spread the message in different ways. You can petition your elected officials to do more in ensuring the growth of the Science& Technology sector of the economy.
Always remember, a country that does not produce man-made goods and services will always lag behind. Choose prosperity today! And WORK for it!”Well, this is not the story. Just a teaser for minds working at such first-class curiosity as ours here, while we fetch you details of what exactly Emeka Nelson has been up to!

Gaborone: Hello,
Urhhh, I really don't think that would be a good mentality for him to adopt. I don't know, but I feel what job seekers need to drum into their own ears, is that they are applying to get THEIR OWN JOBS, and that they are not in the same pool as the millions of job seekers looking for jobs in Nigeria. Don't mind me though, this opinion of mine is borne out of my knowledge that the lot of everyone is maintained by God, and even when it appears that they are knocking heads with others to get it, they will still be picked out and given what is theirs. (Psalm 16 v 5 and Ezekiel 21 v 27). All they need to do is to put themselves in position to be blessed, because if their lot comes and they are not ready, it may be passed on to someone who is, as God has principles and he doesn't indulge loafers.
Sorry for answering questions you never asked me though.
Nice day. Is he the only one asking God for a job? No, there are millions of people who probably pray more or need it more than him. What am saying is, he cant conclude that online application isn't working just because it is yet to work for him. Many ppl are getting jobs thru that medium including my humble self. Hes not the only one applying. Therefore, he shud differentiate himself, have a gud Cv, get some skills etc and also pray more |

I still think you shud have a heart to heart talk with ur mom. Give her cogent reasons, don't just tell her you love the girl, most of these old peeps don't wanna hear I love her. Let her understand that class doesn't really matter and the girl is well behaved. Talk to your mom, u need her blessings. Trust me, moms can be a hard nut to crack when u marry without their consent. I've seen where they even went diabolical against their own children.
Talk to her, if she doesn't listen call in a person she respects. By all means get her consent, this is Africa. |
