you too support your own
nnadychuks:
But make we no lie ehn... Na yorubas Dey handle entertainment industry, Hausas Dey handle politics, but we Igbos no get wetin we Dey handle apart from business. If Naira Marley fit blow, then it shows you how tribalistic the yorubas are, they’ll support their own and even make the Igbos try to love them.
It’s not simple;
One Nigeria won’t come easy, in fact it will get worse if there’s no Igbo president in the next 12-16 years.

not true
dignity33:
The only thing I will said that igbo fail to know in Nigeria is tribalism, put Hausa or Yoruba in charge of anything only what you will see is there brothers but igbos failed to know this . Since Nigeria existence igbo has being fighting for one Nigeria but Yoruba and Hausa are fighting for there tribe that is why they see igbos as not being political sophisticated because they only vote for there tribe, it started back from Awolowo time.

Good day to all the brothers, sisters and members on this platform. trust you'll had a splendid weekend.
Firstly, my condolences goes to the families of the victims who lost their lives at the Festac explosion. May thy lord fortified their heart to bare the lost.
i have been planning to travel out of the country for a greener pasture, due to the hardship and failure of our leaders to make our country a better place for the citizens.
i'm 36yrs of age and still finding it hard to make a good living, also in a relationship with a girl for 8 years, now she is pregnant for me and would soon give birth which i'm really happy about.
my question now is,
would it be advisable for a guy of my age to plan of still traveling out of the country (Dubai) for a greener pasture or should just settle down here in Nigeria with my partner and hope for the best? your sincere advise here please.

Sacrifice. May her soul rest on.
References:
Following the aftermath of the explosion that rockes the Abule-Ado environs of Lagos State today, Rev. Sr. Henrietta Alokha has been confirmed dead.

She had tried saving the children under her care, and went back to save more before the roof caved in on her.

Most of the students have been accounted for, with minor cuts and injuries, whilst some whose injuries were more severe are at the Nigerian Navy Reference Hospital, Ojo.

You really want to take the food away from our leaders. I really sure that most of them are involved in this. [quot author=Raysleek post=87456675]Pipeline vandalism is a steady source of income criminals in that area, even the police and soldiers are involved. Technology needs to be incorporated in pipeline monitoring. We can invent things like conductor strips that will run along the pipe na, any tampering will easily be noticeable and the exact location will be known also.
[Mind you, this companies didn't start with 1million naira for investment and you can't compare how people consume nestle products 10years ago and now, and nestle cant be producing same product they produced 10years, I'm sure they would have expand to other products and so. author=EliteDude post=86869241]

No body goes into business for long term....common bro?

Ok, here's my take, if you are around age 30 like me, i can tell you of 5 companies that are PLC (traded on the NSE),
I dont think this guys are in busines for a short term.
Nestle Plc, makers of yourMAGGI, MILO...ETC, bro i have been consuming their product since i was a baby, now am almost 30. Damn. Is that not long term.....thats my kinder mindset when i say long term...

May be we see things differently.
Please dont misunderstand me, just want to kmow your thoughts
Business / Re: What Business Can I Start With 1 Million To Make 5k Daily? by lavenjcrown(m): 1:31pm On Feb 22, 2020
people don't invest on a particular business for a long term profit, instead you expand your investment. you can still go into the Bet9ja business for the mean time, at least you would have see some profit before its phase off and at that process, you would have come with some business ideal to invest into. my perception tho.
on my own advise, with your question, probably you go into food or transportation business that's if you will be able to do that.
EliteDude:

Nice one!!!

Is gaming shop reaaly a long term investment? Personnally i feel we'd get to the time when people wont
Need to go to a bet shop to bet, technology would change alot of things bro, i feel in about 5 years time from now, bet shops would phase out.
Remember back then when we'd to those shops that rent out Video CDs and Cassettes of Foreign and Nigerian movies.
Then everyone started BUYING THEIR OWN CDS AND CASSETES.
Please dont mis-understand me, just thinking long term and would love to know your tnoughts sir.

SEE Buhari’s Glass Tunnel Constructed By Umahi In Ebonyi State(Photos)

Governor David Nweze Umahi has constructed a beautiful glass tunnel called "Muhammadu Buhari’s Glass Tunnel which is located at the heart of the state capital.

Speaking to Igbere TV about the glass tunnel, Special Assistant to the Governor on Media, Francis Nwaze, described it as first of its kind in design and quality in Nigeria.

He noted that "Few days ago, I met with one of the Presidential aides right here in Ebonyi State, we exchanged greetings and he said to me, "MR. FRANCIS, I was thinking that you were hyping the new Ebonyi State before not until I came down to see things by myself, of a truth, what you share on the Media is nothing but factual."

"In truism, what I have seen on ground are unbelievable."

"In the same vein, I was speaking with a friend from Imo State few minutes ago on phone, he said, "I am in Asaba now but I still miss Abakailiki."

"You can see many of the projects that are executed by the Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr. Chief David Nweze Umahi FNSE, FNATE."

"You can equally see the Muhammadu Buhari’s Glass Tunnel located at the heart of the Ebonyi capital city. The tunnel is unarguably the first of its kind in design and quality in Nigeria, it's the best of its kind and longest Glass tunnel within Africa."

Yet the outside world doesn't see this superiority which you are talking about. It exists only in the mind of Yoruba supremacists.
Be it the art, the military or the architecture, the Benin empire has always been superior to the Yoruba.
Most of you Yoruba actually descend from freed slaves dumped on our shores. You are slaves trying to rewrite history in order to make yourselves masters in a past that never existed.

I have been experiencing a recurring toothache over the last five years. It seems to defy all medications, nothing I haven't done. I have even removed a tooth before now, yet the pain reappeared in two teeth again. I don't want to remove a tooth again. What can I do please?

Family / Re: My Sister's Husband Wants To Sleep With Me by lavenjcrown(m): 3:04pm On Jan 31, 2020
lemme ask this question before i can give you an advise or what to do. what type of apartment do they live?
Mispreeti:
Please I need your advice.

My sister is at the hospital with one of her twins who is seriously ill and I'm in her house taking care of the other twin. I have been here for a week and her husband has been disturbing me for sex. I refused but he is not listening. He touched me while I was asleep and I felt it then I immediately woke up. He pretends to be covering the baby sleeping beside me. I told him i will report him to my dad in the morning. He has apologised and promised not to do it again but I know he is lying because this is not the first time it has happened since I came here.

I can’t go back to sleep and I'm afraid if I close my eyes and sleep, he will come again.

Please should I report him to my dad or give him another chance?
