Foreign AffairsIsrael And The IAEA by lawani(op): 7:54am On Mar 24
Israel and the IAEA

I am a Zionists since the definition covers everybody that wants the state of Israel to continue in existence and prosperity. I want all ethnic nations to continue in existence and prosperity but I do not carry my Zionism to the extent of seeing Israel as the chosen or as a special nation. I want Israel to be held to the same standards as other nations. I am therefore surprised when I see people jittery that Iran has enough fissile material to make ten nuclear war heads as attested to by the IAEA which they submitted to while these same people are not worried that Israel is the only nation on Earth with a nuclear and atomic energy industry not giving account to the IAEA. Nobody knows if Israel has ten, one hundred or a million nuclear war heads. The US, USSR, China, India, Pakistan and even North Korea submitted to the IAEA and what they have is known with their operations monitored as everybody agreed it was a necessary measure for Earth's security. Only Israel has not agreed and people are not worried but they are worried that Iran has enough fissile materials to make ten nukes!

Israel should be persuaded by all onlookers to put their nuclear facilities under the supervision of the IAEA. They should know that a properly constituted UN will put Israel under sanctions tomorrow if it is formed today and it is better to do the right thing without being forced.

First of all, the black world is not actually as ''backward'' as your head imagines.

WHAT EXACTLY DO YOU KNOW ABOUT ''THE BLACK WORLD'' apart from your own experience in Nigeria and what you saw on CNN?

Have you been to or researched Rwanda? Trinidad? Ivory Coast? Kenya? Angola? Jamaica? Senegal? Gabon? Barbados? The Bahamas? Tanzania? Mozambique? Guyana? These are black countries I can guarantee you know NEXT TO NOTHING ABOUT.

95% OF YOU NIGERIANS KNOW A BIG FAT ZERO ABOUT ''THE BLACK WORLD''.

The first big money you get, you don't travel to Zanzibar, Addis Ababa, Nairobi, Luanda or Jamaica to spend it.

You travel straight to Dubai, London, USA.

BECAUSE YOUR HEADS HAVE BEEN PROGRAMMED BY CNN TO SEE BLACK COUNTRIES AS HELLHOLES UNWORTHY OF YOUR VISIT.

ALL VERY ''BACKWARD'' IN YOUR HEAD.

STOP WATCHING CNN AND BBC AND ACTUALLY TRAVEL ROUND THE BLACK WORLD YOU DESPISE SO MUCH, SO YOU CAN LEARN HOW FAR THEY ARE COMING ALONG. You will be VERY surprised.

STOP TALKING AS YOU'VE NEVER PICKED UP A HISTORY BOOK IN YOUR LIFE.

THE WEST RAPED THE WORLD, ESPECIALLY AFRICA, BY FORCE OF ARMS. ROBBED THE WORLD OF THEIR RESOURCES FOR CENTURIES VIA ENSLAVEMENT AND COLONISATION WHICH ENRICHED THE WEST STUPENDOUSLY.

According to AI calculations, the west owes Africa $5,000 TRILLION in reparations for their historical plunder of the continent.

UK has an annual budget of $2 trillion for a reason. USA $7 trillion. France $2 trillion. Germany $3 trillion etc etc. Nigeria's annual budget is $40 billion. AND THAT is supposed to be 'wealthy' by 'African standards'.

THE WORLD WAS NOT ALWAYS THIS UNEQUAL.

This began 400 or 500 years ago when a very backward and broke Europe decided to use Chinese gunpowder mixtures to build FIREARMS and go rob the world. Nobody was prepared for that in a world that had agreed to use iron weapons for millennia, to limit casualties in war.

EUROPE broke that convention out of sheer greed, and the rest is HISTORY.

ALL DARKER-SKINNED SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE NATIONS - THE MOST PROSPEROUS PARTS OF THE WORLD AT THE TIME - WERE THEIR VICTIMS - INDIA, SOUTHEAST ASIA, AFRICA ETC. PLUNDERED OF THEIR RESOURCES HEAVILY BY FORCE OF ARMS.

TODAY...?

ARE AFRICANS THE ONLY PEOPLE TRAVELLING TO THE WEST?

Here are the stats for migration (JAPA) to Europe

🌍 Africa south of the Sahara ~4 – 6 million

🌍 Total African (incl. North Africa) ~9 – 11 million

🌏 Asians ~20 – 25 million

Here are the stats for migration (JAPA) to USA

🌏 Asians (total) ~24 – 25 million

🌍 African immigrants ~2.5 – 3 million

Source - AI ChatGPT

............

SO IF YOU ARE GOING TO INSINUATE AFRICANS ARE 'INFERIOR BEINGS' FROM ''FAILED COUNTRIES'' FOR MIGRATING TO WHERE THEIR STOLEN WEALTH RESIDES, WHAT WILL YOU SAY ABOUT ASIANS?
The west didn't rape the world. There is nothing the west did that others did not do worse before them. There is nothing the British did that the Oyo empire did not do for instance. It is all the same tactics without much difference. The British were infact better because they had a policy of no taxation without some representation. Colonisation does not end easily and that is normal. The Roman empire did not just abruptly end nor did the Achaemenid empire of the Persians and etc. So why do you think the French and the British will volunteer to hands off their former colonies?. That is the mistake. They left their colonies superficially only because of pressure from the USA and the USSR and that is normal.
Among the former colonies, some have succeeded and others have not and among those that succeeded are those that surpassed their former masters.

You are mixing up the issues.Blacks are not low grade humans. The point is, making Nigeria a case study we are not proving our mettle. It is one reason the whites have scant regard for the typical black person! Let’s change the narrative and stop making excuses for our backwardness. Nigeria is my concern and not those other countries you talk about. Let’s look inwards and fix Nigeria the largest black nation on earth! Heat Dey catch me in top bed as I Dey now! Light noh Dey for days now! Money for generator fuel I noh get! I noh kukuma like the generator noise sef! We are better than this!
The point is you are starting from negative if you think your problem is that you are black. If you are a student of history, you would know western Europe was the most backward before the Roman era and after Rome declined, they relapsed into the Dark ages and THEY WERE WHITE PEOPLE. So your so called backwardness is not because you are black and the success of western Europe is not because they are white. Write another thesis. Don't go about with a self defeatist attitude. All human are just that. Human

Now tell me, why is it that despite our advancements you talk about of which I am proud the black world remains the least backward on earth and eat from the palms of the whites? Is something not wrong? Why don’t we turn that around! As I speak blacks keep migrating to the whiteman’s land because life is better there: pipe-borne water, electricity, healthcare, education, economy and we run over there. Should we not look inward and make life better for ourselves instead of telling stories of how blacks own maths! Today who has that helped? For days on end now I have no electricity and water is not running and the roads are bad!
Are the western Europeans working in Nigeria also eating from the palms of black people?. Are the millions of Chinese and Indians working in the US eating from the palms of Americans? The rate of migration of Indians and Chinese to the USA is higher than Nigeria's. So why focus on black people?.
Look inward as you say and try to fix your country and don't raise your children telling them they are low grade human beings.

Have you made your research? And what is your measure of success? If it is high income, then there are high income countries in the category of western Europe that are majority black and if it is HDI, they also exist. Here in West Africa, many countries are well run with responsible and sincere leadership and their citizens are not rushing to leave the country. So Nigeria not getting it right does not mean it is the same for all black majority nations. You came to that conclusion because you believe you are a low grade human being

COLUMBUS REPORTED SEEING BLACK AFRICANS IN THE AMERICAS WHEN HE ''DISCOVERED'' IT.

HE EVEN TOOK ONE OF THEIR SPEARS CALLED ''GUANIN'' (THINK GUINEA) BACK TO SPAIN WHERE IT WAS TESTED AND FOUND TO HAVE THE SAME MATERIALS AS SPEARS ON THE WEST AFRICAN COAST.

SO WEST AFRICANS FROM THE MALI EMPIRE SAILED TO THE AMERICAS CENTURIES BEFORE COLUMBUS' FATHER WAS BORN.
Vikings were going back and forth as at one thousand years ago according to research and they called America Vinland. The elder brother of Mansa Musa left with a fleet and never returned and that would have not been up to a century before Columbus. The person that went and established a permanent to and fro was Columbus.

They had native intelligence which is the barest minimum required to embark upon and extend the frontiers of knowledge on all fronts. That is the plain cold truth. Till date , which black country is as advanced as the whites in science? Tell me Sir/Ma? Did we have sophisticated steamships that did ocean trips back then. Do we have nuclear powered ocean going vessels even now! There is no basis for comparing the white man with the black man. We have chosen to remain the way we are: backward, corrupt, disease-ridden and shameless. See what our political class (with the exception of very few) have done to Nigeria. She has become a laughing stock among the comity of nations. Abeg make I stop and go hug my pillow!
There is no society without experts. If the children and peasants didn't know rivers joins or leads to oceans, what about the government officials, long distance traders and learned people? That is how it is in any country. When were steam ships invented? When did the industrial revolution start? There are majority black nations who are doing very well and if not the peculiar challenges faced by Nigeria, Nigeria would have been doing well. All the advances you are talking about are not up to three hundred years old. Given a choice of where to live some centuries back most people would choose Yoruba land over England. Explain to me how Europe was better than Yoruba land before the industrial revolution. When there was nobody in Europe and it was under ice, there were cities in west Africa. God or providence only chose western Europe particularly Britain for the industrial revolution because progress must go round not because they are higher grade humans. It is sad that you see yourself as a low grade human. That is wrong. Did the Romans see western Europeans as higher grade humans as you do today? No. No higher grade humans and all populations contain all sorts of human beings. If you have quality leadership then your profile will rise and measure up as a people. This has been proven repeatedly. There are white people who are fools just like there are black people like that.

There is more to navigating a body of water than just going up and down and fishing in it. The natives were not sufficiently educated to know for instance the river led to a much larger body of water that is connected to other bodies of water leading to other places in the world. They did not know science!
People in Lagos, in Porto Novo and etc knew the river by name even one thousand years ago and they used it for travelling. So what you are saying is not correct and they were doing well in the science of their days even better than we are doing now in the science of our days

Until the white man came over I was not told that it was navigable. The natives did not know much about the rivers except to worship them! That was what they excelled at doing.
Who are your teachers? People worshipped rivers. Yes and they still do. They worship rivers, trees and etc all over the world too. Not only in Africa. Before Mungo Park, that river was navigated, crossed by armies and plied for trade. There were naval blockades at least one well known by the Oyo in Badagry. The King of Mali sent hundreds of vessels across the Atlantic to the Americas when no nation in Europe had the resources to do that. You don't seem to know anything of what you are talking about.

Yoruba people living in Lagos in the 15th century knew the River Niger and that still isn't enough for you?

Trump's War in Iran has sparked global fears about the economy. If the Strait of Hormuz were to remain closed, and Dubai, Saudi Arabia, UAE and the other Gulf states continue to come under attack, global oil prices could surge.

Why has Trump launched this attack on Iran now?

Everything comes back to the US Petrodollar system. Oil is at the root of everything. It's been the basis of our global economy since the Second World War.

But what actually is the Petrodollar system? How does it work? Why was it put in place? What's the future of the Petrodollar?

In this video, we dive into the topic. Keeping the Petrodollar afloat explains all the US foreign policy, and all geopolitics, for more than 70 years. Everything from the first Gulf War, to the War in Iraq, to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, to the current War with Iran.

00:30 - Why Is Oil So Important?
01:17 - How the US Dollar Controlled Global Economy
01:53 - Gold Standard and The Nixon Shock

05:00 - Petrodollar Recycling
05:43 - Future of the Petrodollar
06:06 - Why Hostile Countries Trade In Dollars
06:50 - China and Russia
The US gain from the petrodollar is that they can print money and spend it. The total gain per annum can not be more than fifty billion dollars and that is for a country with government spending more than seven trillion dollars a year, minus the billions per year they spend on aids. The US dollar is gain for the USA but they don't need it. It is not adding much to them. If other first world nations dont need a petrodollar to be successful then the USA just don't need it

Let’s talk about the nuclear reality. If you want to see a real risk, look at South Korea; their president is in a position where he could essentially push for testing whenever he wants, which becomes a major threat if a power-hungry leader ever takes over. As for Israel, you should check the facts—they maintain a policy of "nuclear opacity." While it isn't officially declared whether they have them, other countries in that category already possess functional weaponry.

If Iran could actually prove they aren't sponsoring terrorism, maybe people would get behind them. But since 9/11, they’ve been constantly accused, and their supporters just point to different radical factions as "proof" of their stance. It makes no sense to expect the world to just allow nuclear weapons to fall into the hands of potential terrorists; that was never going to happen. This war was always just a matter of time. Iran has been preparing for it, but they knew they’d face resistance—which is why things are so tense now that their production has been stalled.

The Iranian leadership is just being stubborn and egoistical, and people like you pushing them on isn't helping. What would have happened if they had just laid low, agreed to stop the nuclear program, and waited for a different U.S. administration? But no—they had to act like they were a global superpower, and now they're paying the price.
It does not change the fact that if Israel wants to be the only nuclear power in the middle east, then it needs to lobby the members of the UNSC. The status does not mean much though because you can never use the nukes except you are ready to be nuked in return.

Iran can't use nukes either even if they had them unless they are ready to be nuked in return but nuclear proliferation should be curtailed and that can't and shouldn't be a task to be done by any country alone.

Israel has not confirmed having nukes but experts know it is not reasonable to think they don't because they have enough enriched uranium and the same now applies to Iran
Foreign AffairsRe: Netanyahu Compares Jesus With Genghis Khan, Sparks Outrage by lawani(m): 1:35pm On Mar 22
SpencerForbes:
Iran and our cycle of corrupt leadership are exactly why Nigeria remains backward. If you check the front page today, you’ll see lists of the top-visited countries in Africa, and Nigeria is nowhere to be found. Is it not because of the instability and the terrorism they help sponsor?

When it comes to military might, the USA is the big brother of the world. Between them and Russia, they hold about 90% of the world's nuclear weapons. With just a click of their fingers, they could literally trigger World War III. Like it or not, the US sanctions at the start of the conflict were necessary to cut off Iran’s military procurement.

I honestly hate it when people try to play the victim for them—the Iranian leadership knew exactly what they were doing. If they had been allowed to sell more oil, it would have been dangerous because they would have just used that money to buy more materials for weapons. I believe if they were ever allowed to fully develop nuclear weapons, they would do more damage than the Nazis.

I’ll ask again: if your sibling is trying to get a gun to shoot the other, will you wait for them to "test" it first?
What Iran is saying that is not acceptable is that Israel must not exist but some Israelis too are saying Palestine must not exist and Palestinians must remain state less and they are still succeeding for now.

If the US had said no other nation must have nukes which they could have easily done, would that have been the kind of world you want? The US actually looked on as their archrivals procured nukes. They didn't attack them. There are many ways a problem can be managed without the initiation of violence. If Israel want to be the only nuclear power in the middle east then that is not something the US alone can deliver for them

BusinessWhat Will An Equalized Cost Of Living Do To The Crude Oil And The Agric Sector? by lawani(op): 9:16am On Mar 22
What will an equalized cost of living do to the crude oil and agric sector?

If the cost of living across the world became similar or equal then the cost of production of crude oil will considerably drop and since the minimum price of any commodity that will sustain continued production is determined by the cost of production of that commodity then it can be assumed that the price of crude oil will drop if the cost of production drops. It should drop by more than fifty percent while demand and supply takes over the rest.

As for the agricultural sector, the cost of production will largely remain the same, therefore prices will not change because of that but workers in that sector will have more purchasing power than they have now just because wages will come down in the cities and things produced in cities will become cheaper while remaining relatively the same in rural areas especially in Africa and etc where most workers in the agricultural sector live.
Foreign AffairsRe: State Of Emergency Declared As Iranian Missile Hits Arad In Southern Israel by lawani(m): 8:51am On Mar 22
Israel should stop attacking Iranian nuclear sites because Israeli nuclear sites will become legitimate targets as a result and they are not fortified like Iran's. If Iran bombards Israel's nuclear sites then Israel will be devastated by radiation. This fact just shows Iran can destroy Israel but is restraining itself just like Israel can destroy Iran showing clearly the war makes no sense. Why is Israel attacking Iran's enrichment facilities when their own nuclear reactor can be easily hit?

Divide Nigeria to save ourselves.
Yes every well meaning person should join the struggle for the peaceful dissolution of Nigeria so that the ethnicities therein can sit down and develop their lands.
PoliticsWhy Nigeria Is Irredeemable And Not Conducive For The Yoruba by lawani(op): 11:42am On Mar 21
Why Nigeria is irredeemable and not conducive for the Yoruba

To have enduring prosperity, the first requirement is security then followed by cooperation through taxes. It can't be gainsaid today that many parts of Yoruba land are far less secure today than they were during the tumultuous nineteenth century. It is fairly common today for non Yorubas to gang up and attack Yoruba on Yoruba land. Without security there can't be prosperity and if the current President, President Bola Tinubu who is Yoruba can not secure Yoruba land and does not have the will to do so for whatever reason, is it an Igbo man or Fulani man as President that will be able to do so?. If the President is willing to solve the security problem in the country at large and in Yoruba land in particular then some people will be under arrest by now but these people are not only free, they are also high ranking government officials. Therefore the first reason Nigeria is not a good deal for the Yoruba or any other group indeed is security. There is no security in Yoruba land. The NSA is sending non Yoruba armed with AK 47 assault rifles into Yoruba forests as vigilantes where the villagers are being kidnapped and killed by unidentified non Yoruba bandits. Are the vigilantes not also the murderous bandits? I think it is somehow obvious they are

Another reason is under representation in politics. If taxes were being used to run the country, the first people to call for restructuring would be the Yoruba and the second would be the Hausa. Also, the Nigerian narrative is that there are more ethnic Hausas in Nigeria than Yorubas while no one can deny that Yoruba land in the Southwest, North Central and South south contains more population than Hausa land. Yoruba land has always even before colonisation contained more population than Hausa land. The majority of a state in the Northwest like Kaduna only became Hausa speaking in the twentieth century. There is no part of Yoruba land that started speaking Yoruba in the twentieth century. Hausa speakers are more than Yoruba speakers in Nigeria currently no doubt but the narrative that there are more ethnic Hausas than ethnic Yoruba in Nigeria is wrong and that conclusion is used to determine political representation. On another side, Oyo and Ogun states by NIN registration, voter registration, SIM registration, number of internet subscribers and other data have a higher population than the Southeast of Nigeria but have less than half of the political representation. These two states are also almost double the Southeast in landmass. Lagos is also there by having more population than the combination of Oyo and Ogun yet having less than a quarter of the political representation of the Southeast. By the way, there is no SW state apart from Lagos that have up to five percent of the population as non Yoruba. If you schooled in the west and have up to five percent non Yoruba as students in your secondary school, please let us know. The under representation of the Yoruba in government is alarming.

Another reason is that the Yoruba are a major ethnic group on Earth that should control their space without needing to slug it out with any other group. There is a Yoruba space in west Africa that runs from Nigeria to Eastern Ghana. We need to use our language in our schools and in government correspondence etc. English in a Yoruba country should only be a compulsory subject in schools because it is a global world. There are groups in west Africa that have been speaking Yoruba for centuries and will never stop speaking it like the Fon, Afemai and some Nupe etc. Some because of the defunct Oyo empire and others because of the defunct Benin empire. These groups are naturally welcome in a Yoruba country whilst they also preserve their heritage and language. There are also Yoruba groups that have other languages just like there are English groups with Celtic languages.

Nigeria can not be redeemed. Many Igbos for instance believe they have a higher population than the Yoruba or the Hausas despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. How do you solve such a problem? The Hausas also believe they have a higher population than the Yoruba and in a united Nigeria, the counter productive struggle for prominence will continue and if we manage to solve all those problems with a new constitution then the only thing we can achieve is a working English or British nation in west Africa. The Yoruba have been at nation building for over ten thousand years and there is no reason for the journey to end as the appendage of an English nation in west Africa. That is the most the Yoruba can achieve as a member of Nigeria.

Whatever report must be on the most recent as that census determined the current 250 million calculation using 3% annual growth rate, which some may argue it may be higher than that. If you calculate 140 million at a growth rate of 3% annually, you will have over 250 million.

I did not discuss about NIN for obvious reasons, it is not well administered for the most part of the existence, they initially did not even allow minors to register until some few years ago. A large population of people still don't have it BECAUSE they mostly have no use of it(Minors are largely in this category), rural dwellers, illiterate population e.t.c. If the NIN becomes a tool to receive government benefit, watch how enrolment will skyrocket. Who registers a 2 year old for NIN except for passport registration, I don't even think they have partnership with Nigerian hospitals , e.t.c NIMC is a poorly managed and/or possibly underfunded agency .

Your other statistical baseline of SIM registration is also weak, as it largely excludes Nigerian minors who are about 50% of the population. Most kids do not have sim cards and dont try to start with one off examples.

Anytime you want to discuss population, keep it in mind Nigerian minors are about 50% of the population, that fallacy of failing to acknowledge that reality shows in your argument.
Minors may not be up to fifty percent though. I believe the number that registered for NIN will be around sixty percent of the population.

Then Sim registration, NIN stats and etc can be used to compare the population of different states.

I think the country's population is around 220 million

Do you have reliable data source to support your last paragraph?
Ibadan has around double the number of banks of any SE capital and more than double the number of hotels according to Rentech. com

It can be reasonably assumed that Ibadan is at least double any of those cities in urban spread and population

Onitsha metropolitan area is the second largest built up area in Nigeria.. Google is free
Anambra still has Awka and others. Onitsha is not the only city in Anambra and Anambra as a whole is not up to seven million people. There are hundreds of settlements in Anambra and the total population of Onitsha metropolis can not exceed three million.

And seven million for Anambra is very generous because NIN registration is like 2.3 or 2.4 million

Don't change your initial argument. You specifically mentioned hotel and bank branches.

BTW, we should be mindful of what we post on a forum like this. Many people come here to learn. We don't have to mislead them with wrong information.
Ife has like 50 bank branches and Owerri has over 100. There is a similar ratio for hotels. Do you need any other information to conclude about how their population compare? However Owerri as a capital city will automatically have more banks

There's nowhere in the world where human population is determined by the number of hotels and bank branches.
WTF? 🤥
Human population will be directly proportional to the number of buildings for one.

The future of Palestine

There are still some Palestinians pursuing the from the river to the sea policy. They want the one state solution. What however will be the identity of such a state? And how do you prevent such a state from descending into civil war immediately it is created? Nation building will be very difficult if not impossible in such a state. It is therefore important that the Palestinians upgrade their demand. They are right to say the country is theirs because they have no other country and if you have the right to enter to live and work in a country without inhibition then that country is yours too. The Palestinians should therefore pursue this option and allow the whole land to be divided for administrative purposes. Let the Jews control the portion heavily populated by Jews while Palestinians control the part heavily populated by Palestinians. Palestinians should be able to live and work in Israel without visas and Israelis too should be able to live and work in Gaza and west bank without visas. It must be realized that there were also Jewish indigenes in Gaza and the west bank that had to leave or that were expelled when the Arab-Israeli war first broke out..

An EU like arrangement is still a defacto one state. Only that there will be borders for the purpose of administration.

The Palestinians should ask for support from the United Nations based on the fact they are the only people to be dispossessed of their land in the twentieth century. With hands joined together, they will in no time become a very successful country.

On a journey to independence, they have to welcome military occupation led by the USA to restore order and secure the country. As they pay tax and adjust, they will then become a sovereign nation.

The Palestinians can play a part in ending the confrontation by agreeing to a partitioning of the land for administrative purposes. If the US asks Israel to stop bombing Iran, they will likely stop and the Iranians will agree with whatever the Palestinians agree with.

If the war further escalates, it will affect Palestine. Anything that affects Israel will affect Palestine in the long run according to the Yoruba saying 'Whatever misfortune befalls the people of Iwo will soon be the lot of the people of Ede'.
