Can you show proof, where PMB said "there's juju in Aso rock"?
PoliticsRe: Nigeria's Presidential Jet On OLX by LAX89(m): 8:05pm On Jun 19, 2015
From all the comments above me, I'm forced to ask: WHY ARE YOU PEOPLE SOOOO GULLIBLE, TOO LAZY TO READ AND REASON! The ad is NOT real, its advertised for N300m which is less than $2m, besides, you do not sell govt property on a whim, especially a presidential jet.

RomanceRe: Growing Number Of Rich, Comfortable But Single Men by LAX89(m): 2:32pm On Jun 17, 2015
olowoba:
This is a source of concern. I write for a few friends of mine - hardworking and nice guys (30+ years) working in various reputable firms in Nigeria. But 3, 4, 5 years after, they are still searching for the lady of their heart desires. I also notice the trend everywhere I go.

Just as we complain about the growing number of unmarried ladies, I'm also worried abt the growing number of unmarried, comfortable men who are over 30 years.

A case in study is a popular friend of mine who has been working in the oil sector for more than 5 years. He clocks 33 this year. He still remains unmarried. He says he is still searching. I can count more than 10 of my friends - comfortable, hale and healthy, gainfully employed but single after working for more than 5 years..What can be the cause?
Are ladies getting scarce, or is it that there are few "wife materials" in town now? or are they simply afraid of making commitment? huh
Marriage is an OVERRATED dogma and expectation of society. You should also look at the world-wide odds of divorce. Individuals now have the courage and self conviction to decide if they actually need, want and desire to get married, rather than just following societal dogma and expectations, devoid of any independent, individual analysis and thought process. Put simply, marriage should be an individual choice, and not a rule of society.

PoliticsRe: A Nigeria Police Outpost In Zalau, Bauchi (photo) by LAX89(m): 8:34pm On Jun 15, 2015
INTROVERT:
Many police OUTposts around the country look like this. It might be because they were not actually built by the Federal government but just given to police to stay by individuals around the area to ensure police presence.

I don't know how true this is but I have been told that if you build a STANDARD police station in an area that dosent have one. The Fed Govt will reimburse you the total amount for land and construction.
Do you have any picture evidence to support your claim I bolded in red?

PoliticsRe: Garba Shehu: Why Buhari Has Yet To Choose Ministers — by LAX89(m): 3:56pm On Jun 14, 2015
The fact that apc are not yet prepared for governance was played out in the election of the principal officers of NASS, and it's also playing out now in the presidency. At the very least, PMB should've by now appointed his Chief of Staff, SFG and his Principal Personal Secretary. His election was not contested in court, so he had ample time after the election to make up his mind on these. Time has come for apc to stop blaming GEJ for their unpreparedness and inefficiency and get on with the business of governing, or PMB can resign and immediately hand over to Osunbade/Osinbajo who seems more articulate and ready anyway.

This would have been his prefered vice, if not for people chanting no to a muslim/muslim ticket as if it really matters.
You're wrong. research for what Tinubu said about who would've been the VP. It was NOT Fashola, but Tinubu himself. Buhari actually offered the position to Tinubu, NOT Fashola.

I wonder what role Gbaja will play in the HOR after this.

He had put in so much in the last 16 years or so. By right he ought to be speaker.

But then, that's life and politics for you!

You win some, you lose some.

PS
I hope he does not go into oblivion like Hon Wunmi Bewaji, another young Turk who came in blazing like him.
By what RIGHT, where in the constitution was he granted such RIGHTS above and beyond other HOR members?

PoliticsRe: Saraki Saga:section 64 Subsection 3 Of The Constitution by LAX89(m): 2:34pm On Jun 09, 2015
tempex88:
Nigerian politics, you buy everything. You pay for votes. I do not disagree with you. But come to think of it, one with presidential ambition has president of the senate, just two position away from his dream position.....Saraki is fire in Buhari's bossom. that's the truth. remove sentiment. Even if Buhari deals with saraki with a plain mind. Saraki's ambition will not allow him deal with buhari that way.
I agree, Saraki has a bigger, unspoken ambition. I believe he's positioning himself, and garnering support to challenge PMB in 2019, only time will tell, but I foresee a big and interesting drama unfolding from now to 2019, I just hope and pray that the common man/woman in Nigeria will not continue to suffer collateral damage because of politician's selfish ambition.
PoliticsRe: Saraki Saga:section 64 Subsection 3 Of The Constitution by LAX89(m): 2:26pm On Jun 09, 2015
tempex88:
there is nothing complex with this. All is in the hand of the presidency. if PMB does not embrace Saraki, e will go. Its politicals. this guys are not moralist
You are wrong, PMB is NOT OBJ, PMB has clearly demonstrated that he does not want to meddle in legislative leadership issues, he wants due process to be followed. Besides, if PMB attempts to muscle Saraki and his supporters, then he'll have a very difficult 4 years, he doesn't want that, he doesn't need that and he's smart enough to know that. Again, Saraki has the backing of PDP senators, so he only needs a few senators from APC and he'll maintain majority vote in any fight.
PoliticsRe: Saraki Saga:section 64 Subsection 3 Of The Constitution by LAX89(m): 2:09pm On Jun 09, 2015
tempex88:
This thing na simple thing ooo... President was not there so no proclamation was issued and he can always deny any letter. If he should allow Saraki, he will be impeached before his tenure expires. mark my words. Buhari doesn not know how to play money politics like OBJ and GEJ.
It appears you are not familiar with the workings of the presidency. The president does not need to be physically present in the chamber to issue a proclamation. And letters from the president cannot be successfully denied by the president because it carries the SEAL of the president. If he denies it, that means someone else has the SEAL of the president, and that is treason.

Welcome to islam, the religion of peace.. cool cool

I am sure after Buhari's 8yrs in office, many others will consider Islam. By then, the air would have been cleared of ethnic and religious bigotism, terrorism, nepotism, unemployment and kwarruption. By then, they ld have known Islam to be a religion of peace and not a violent religion as pple with ulterior motives have made many to believe..

God bless Buhari!
God bless Chukwuma Austin dike
God bless the readers that won't quote me to blast me..
God bless Nigeria!!!

Cc: Lalasticlala, come and do what you do well..May ya name be on God's Front page (of those that will dwell in heaven). Move this thing to the FP to claim ya prayer. grin grin
[b]islam has NEVER been and will NEVER be a religion of peace. A religion that constantly prescribes maiming and death for even minor imperfections, disagreement and difference in belief can NEVER be a religion of peace. You're apparently a Religious Bigot and FANATIC in the mold of your boko haram brothers/sisters. Someone will have to be a total fool to convert to islam because of buhari. Here's your islam;

You can resume your 'sai this, sai that' and political leanings at different time and circumstances, at some point you need to grow some sense if possible.

He has a good reason but he shouldn't have said "it will not be business as usual". That statement is an indication that under his predecessor, civil servants were always late to office which I don't want to think it's correct.
He's better positioned to know why he said that. Perhaps civil servants were not punctual previously, and he wants them to sit up, and he has also chosen to be in Ikeja for the same reason. Fashola was good, but not perfect, and every person will come with their different style of administration even if they're from the same party as the previous governor.

You should be worrying about how Nigeria will move forward, and how you can better your own life. Jonathan has been Deputy Governor, Governor, Vice President and President. What else will he and his family be lacking, and he's poised now to take a role in UN. How many people have achieved all that in the history of Nigeria? His life and the life of his entire family is secured financially, how about yours? He has a life pension, life security detail, a presidential mansion and library, properties everywhere, uncountable amount of cash etc., how about you and your family? Who should be crying, you or them?
