Except for the wickedness of his heart. Review his wife's, son's and daughter's assessment of him. Read his book, and see how he painted everyone else as the devil, and himself as the victim saint, then judge what manner of man he is.[/

"Oko ki je ti baba ti omo ko ma ni aala"

It will be better if you go to your village and pack all of them to come and vote for JK but I will tell you this. JK will still loose and you and your people should be ready for the future consequence of going against the owners of the land.
I don't operate under the primordial village mentality and adage you propagate. I don't care if you elect a rat or monkey as governor of Lagos state. I'm a GLOBAL citizen living in 21st century, I've grown above and beyond your pedestrian territorial village enclave mentality and reasoning, and frankly, it feels better here.

France also helped, it has little to do with Igbo people being 'Jews'.
Btw, I'm not in anyway propagating any affinity between Igbos and Jews, I could care less. But I'm a student of history, so I'll let science/ archaeologists determine what the facts are. And, France did NOT help in a selfless proactive sense. France was looking for more supportive colonies in West Africa, and they still do now. If they had seriously and proactively helped Biafra, Nigeria would've had a different Map today. Don't forget, France had substantial global power and dominance at the time. France supported the idea of an independent Biafra that was sympathetic to their world view at the time, and they hoped it would work, but they never directly and forcefully assisted Biafra, they ideologically assisted through Ivory Coast, hence Ojukwu ended up in Ivory Coast.

Bro you be Jew and tell your brothers, Lagos is not Isreal.

Just Kidding ooo. JK ooo
Lagos is a land for ANYONE that has money to buy land! All these alaye and omo n'oba touts that lay claim to Lagos, how much land/property do they own in Lagos? How much tax do they pay to run Lagos state government? They live in the 18th century, while life passes them by. The Igbo man came to Lagos, Saw and Conquered! Now they own more than half of Lagos, which is why they can win Federal elections in Lagos. The so-called Lagosians are now working as houseboy, gateman, driver, sales girl/boy, cleaner, cook etc. for the Igbo man, so maybe the Yoruba's should get on their collective knees and thank/worship the Igbos.

I understand your hatred and Jealousy. Igbo's are the most INDEPENDENTLY successful tribe in AFRICA. Even when awolowo tried to kill their spirits during and after the civil war by giving them only 20pounds, regardless of the millions they had in Nigerian banks before the war, ten years later they own half of Lagos, today, they own over 60% of Abuja. While other tribes remain lazy and in squalor. You put an IGBO man in the desert without water, within a short time, he/she will find ways to turn it into paradise, and monetize the sand, while a Yoruba man becomes alaye, and looks for egunje, and the hausa man becomes almajiri.

Why was Ivory Coast and Israel the ONLY countries that helped BIAFRANS during the civil war, even when the whole world assisted and helped Nigerian government, and warned Israel NOT to help Biafra? Don't forget, Israel was ONLY 19 years old then, and were still fragile, but they risked everything to help the IGBOs.

S-East PDP caucus resolves to remain in oppositionon april 08, 2015 at 6:25 am in news

By Austin Ogwuda

SOUTH – EAST caucus of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Wednesday, met at the residence of the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, in Enugu and resolved to remain in opposition in the emerging new political dispensation to be piloted by the President-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), effective May 29, 2015.

The party’s leadership in the zone made it clear that it had no regret voting en masse for their party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
“As a zone, the South East delivered all their votes to the PDP and we are proud to do so,’’ the party said.

In attendance at the meeting were Governor of Abia State, Theodore Orji, Minister of State for Defence, Col. Augustine Akobundu (retd); Senator Hope Uzodinma, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, Senator Gil Nnaji, the host, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, among others.

They, therefore, used the opportunity to thank all members of the PDP, including the governors, stakeholders and the people of the zone, for working tirelessly and voting massively for the party during the last elections and urged them to remain loyal and do the same on Saturday.

Addressing newsmen shortly after the closed door-meeting, the group’s spokesman who is also the National Vice Chairman of PDP South East, Col. Augustine Akobundu (retd), said they were resolute in remaining in the party and not contemplating defecting to other political parties.

His words:  “Everything that we need to do to deliver the goodies that our people deserve in the zone, we can bring through a very solid platform of negotiation.

‘’We voted for a party that integrated us into the mainstream of Nigerian politics, elected/appointed our people into strategic offices, and addressed some of our major infrastructural challenges. So, we took a principled position and accept full responsibility for our political choices.”

I am beginning to change my mind towards Tinubu.
Now, I am looking forward to the day he will emerge as the president of Nigeria.
He is just brilliant and doesn't know how to disappoint.
His response is just classic.

You don't have to agree with me but fault his response if you can.
I fault Tinubu's response on the ground that he should first apologise on behalf of the oba, and demand that the oba should apologise too. Tibunubu should've pointed out how wrong and unlawful it is for an oba of lagos to make such statements, Tinubu is the party leader, a former governor and an elder, so he has a responsibility to do all these. Instead, he's on the defensive on behalf of apc, that's where I fault him. Look at Femi Falana's response and you'll catch my drift.

SO ALL THIS YOUR COMMENT AS AM SPEAKING HAS DONE MORE HARM THAN GOOD.

ASARI 100% SUPPORT FOR FROM MY SIDE AND PEOPLE.

Your thought process of Ibo, Hausa, Yoruba etc. is very primitive and uncivilized. Nigeria will never move forward until you all see yourselves as ONE Nigeria. You all line up at different embassies to travel to USA, UK etc., those countries have more historical diversity than Nigeria, they only started progressing when they stopped seeing each other as different. Instead of looking for an Ibo, Hausa, Yoruba president, why not look for the BEST Nigerian president who can do the job the best! Y'all copy American, British slangs and phonetics, but you refuse to copy their common sense, civilization and patriotism. You now have a golden opportunity to change, or keep thinking and living as vermin.

Though I do not believe anyone could say this at this time, but if true, this is for you, Asari Dokubo.

Calm down, my Nigerian brother, the truth is that, if not probably handled, the end product of any irrational action - from any quarters - will go beyond June 12... all the way to 1966. However, this time the end result will be worse than 1966-70! Why & how? There will be no slang like, "no victor, no vanquished"again... THE WINNER WILL TAKE ALL. Please I advise that you quickly take a crash course in World History. Peace, brother, peace! God bless Nigeria.
There will be NO victor, NO vanquished! june 12 was a Yoruba affair, where their brother won an election and was jailed and killed, and the yorubas couldn't do nothing. You should also take a course in world history, start with Sudan and Yugoslavia. Forget 1966-70 when world powers supported Nigeria, and only Israel helped Biafra. This time around, everybody has access to the same weapons. Look at Syria, Libya, Afghanistan etc., everyone is well equipped, that's why Russia could not defeat Afghanistan for 10 years. SS and SE already stockpiled enough arms to do whatever they need to, Nigerian army couldn't even take out boko haram who are just a handful of monkeys all this while, when the oil stops flowing, where will Nigeria get money to fund itself? You need a lot more courses than world history! Nigeria is now sitting on a keg of gun powder, so be careful what you wish for. This aint 1966-70 no more!

You're obviously still a child. During Buhari's military regime, people were afraid of Idiagbon, not Buhari, Buhari was made Head of State because of his rank at the time.. And Buhari, by his own admission, surrendered power mostly out of fear, not by choice. IBB and his boys waited for Idiagbon to travel out of the country before they executed their coup. If Idiagbon had been in the country, IBB and his boys would not have had the courage to execute a coup, but they saw Buhari as a weakling. Check the history.
