I didn't put in any extra effort to get enough milk for my baby. I just pump often and drink a lot of water. I like to eat oatmeal too and I read that its a galactagogue.
There are times when the milk is not as much as expected (in the afternoon on most day) but I still pump every 4 to 5 hours.

My sister abeg no pray 4 oversupply of breastmilk ooo since baby isnt sucking directly... Its engorgement pain issa nightmare... Then maybe I don't just produce enough milk naturally, cos after seeing kokaiye post I took garri and no improvement lol.
I drink tea too often, will try the oatmeal. Before pap use to make it overflow, but now no overflow, I think my bress is now just programed to make just 120ml per pump, highest 240ml .

BTW, someone adviced I go to elewe omo, that they will give me what to drink and bathe with and after that baby will be sucking directly, the woman said my baby is seeing kokoro in the bress that's why he isn't sucking direct . Walai I didn't know weda to be angry with her and just shut her up

Hello mama, sorry to disturb you, since we are both exclusively pump feeding
Please how do you get your bress to supply more bress milk.
One bress express just about 120ml at a time, both like 240ml combined. Making me supplement with formula for my baby.
Now that he is about 3mnths I don't know how to increase my milk supply so that my baby can take more breasmilk than formula
Am thinking pumping is the one affecting the supply.

but i i did that wool one 4 my firstborn n it healed faster, my second born was laser n it took almost 2weeks to heal

the wool doesn't fall off easily you need to apply plenty engine oil.. d wool drills deep into the flesh. It looks really painful

How did u mothers do it wen u r contipated n u gaz use d toilet asap, u r d only person at home with baby? Do u carry baby wit u to d toilet while u spent hrs tryin to relieve ursef, or u leave baby alone in d room n go do ur number 2? If ur ans is dt u leave baby, what do u do wen baby start crying in d room? Do u continue doing ur business in d toilet or u postpone relieving ursef in d toilet? This actually happened to me yesterday, as it happened i was wondering wat other mamas did wen in dia situation... Wat i actually did was dt i carried baby with me to d toilet on his bouncer but far away from me thou n was playing with him but mr man was complaining wanting me to carry me while i battle wit gettin d waste out of my body but dis thing wasnt showing any sign of comin out any sooner n baby was already getting frustrated , already mkin sound dt he ws abt to cry, i kept mkin faces to mk him laugh but mr man doesnt find it funny, i sing 4 him, e no work ... As e carry mouth yaaa about to burst crying, i just carry my bombom jejely comot toilet to attend to him ... D backpain n leg pains i had afterwards due to d contipation ehn hmmmn(constipation na bad tin wen u r in a hurry) , naso i carry uncle ooo, played wit him n fed him until e feel asleep after 5hrs straight b4 i resumed bk 2 d toilet n resume my bziness, tnk goodness d hrs help my body soften d waste , n it came out easily.. Backpain n leg pains disappear instantly ... Babies can b demanding sha smh... B acting lik little demons

tho I have never been in this situation yet, but if nah me Sha, and I no fit hold the poo again.. wait sef, cant u put him inside his rocker, oeon toilet door waaaa, keep him a little far away from the toilet but he can see you from the distance, then u be singing sweet songs to him and be doing your thing

If U really want to breastfeed him, pls try and do what U were told because it really help. A syringe was the first thing used for my baby at d hospital and when I started gvn him formula in bottle, a nurse stopped me(though I still use it behind dem) and said it's better U use syringe if atall U want to gv them the expressed milk(I do use spoon once a while at d hospital too because I c sumone using it ) bt I shd keep putting the baby to breast and it really work. The syringe might be tiring at this stage because bobo is now big and syringe is 10ml(imagine if U r going to 120ml) but try it

I won't even lie this thing dey worry me gaan ni.. cos exclusive expressing is haaaarrrdddd. I feel he would eat more if he was sucking directly.
I never still try the syringe ooo.. just shifting it cos this little adorable human don't have patience while eating, he will blow his lungs out if I use syringe I'm sure.
But just imagine when he is like 6momths and above , how many full bottles will I pump in a day? Jesu shaanu mi ooooooooo

So, wen i gave birth my baby refuse to breastfed bcs him don taste bottle n preferred 2 b breastfed so i retreated to expressin breastmilk cs i b ebf mama geng n moreover to save money, moreover formula is freaking expensive 4 obodo oyinbo... U c lastnight, i cried like a baby, d pain was so much i had to express little milk out, took sage leaf tablets to help with d drying of d milk (i pray it work fast sha). Still in pains as i type like dis, if capital letter IF i have anoda baby again anl go near anyyhing breastpump in my life if baby nl take breatmilk straight from source, na formula straight... I cant even laydown to sleep cs wen i sleep breast get more engorged ha God!!! Women dey suffer ooo... ( Plot twist) so i discovered my baby ve cow milk allergy wen i gave him formula to drink, his eyeslid bcm mild swollen n started having dis red rashes on his body d day i gave him d formula so i took him to d hospital n doc confirmed my theory dt e is allergic to protein in cow's milk, ao e cant tk normal baby formula..... E has dis eczema dt refuse to go on his face since e ws 2months old n his poop were most of d time greenish n watery but i nva give it any thought since he is gaining weight... doc told me e hv been reacting to d cow milk i took 4 a while, imagine!!! N i tot i was helpin him by pumping my nipple off... Not knowing dt e is allergic to my breastmilk... So we r now on nutramigen formula ooo which e doesn't lik much cs d formula doesn't smell nice n it is tasteless n dis formula is freaking expensive (thank God its free on prescription).... In my life, i will nva eva pump again... Every expression i made, i was in pain, i only gt 1hr pain free cs wen dis breast gt full again na pain until i express... Its not easy abeg

Was at the hospital last week and complained that my baby never collect bress.. only feeding bottle. I made the mistake you wrote up there, giving him bottle first before breast and so he refused my bress blatantly.

You see we are almost three months now and my right hand is literally gone cos I use manual pump. It's not easy atall. I put my baby to my bress and he start crying uncontrollably.

With the bottle I don't even know if my baby is eating enough, cos I feel like he will literally drink the whole milk in both bress at once if he was sucking directly, but now he drinks about 120ml every 2hours.

So I was told at the hospital to throw away all the bottles, and go back to feeding him with spoon or syringe for like two days straight and then introduce him to the bress afresh.. even if he cries I shouldn't mind.. been postponing doing that cos I know he will over cry, but honestly I'm tired of expressing my hand/arm Hurts.

The sneezing might be due to allergens. Ensure there's no dust on the net where the open windows are. ACs are better fan, you can set the temperature at 24° or above

first of all... Fan aint gud 4 babies when u direct it towards dem... If its standing fan put it on and away direct it away from d baby d little breeze frm d fan will circulate d room but know smtin some babies sweat even thou dey aint feeling heat, it happened to my first baby... It was very confusing until we enter raining season n mr man stil dey sweat even thou everywhere was cold... I just ignore it n dress him normally... I dnt rap him up i just wear him sleepsuit only, jhst to b on d safe side... U c dt sneezing aint bcs of cold ooo... D pollution in Nigeria generally is enof to mk new babies sneeze 4gt say na inside aous u dey, d pollution dey enter house, i am 99.9percent sure d sneezing isnt related to d weather.

Rain was falling lastnight, I was even cold, touched my baby and he was sweating everywhere.. small time now he started having heat rashes, and to me the weather is cold.. or not hot atall and his cloth will be soaked with his sweat.
Finish bathing him now now, before I finish dressing him up e go don sweat for forehead

My 12weeks baby is always very sweaty, from his forehead, arms, etc
On fan or open window after a little while he starts sneezing, in shorts he sneezez on the norms now. Off fan and all again he starts sweating.
It's really very confusing on how to dress him up or balance everything
