Hello mamas
My baby has been purging since last Thursday abi Friday and I've been managing it at home with just ors. Didn't use d baby flagyl for him cos I read online that it's not needed.
Went to d hospital yesterday and doctor said there's nothing wrong with him, he gave me same ORS and zinc.
But he is still purging, tho it's usually not much in quantity but it's frequent.

Please how can I make d purging stop.

Turns out he doesn't have ear infection but malaria after we did the test.
Nawa oo how can a four month old have malaria nah
We've been given drugs tho.
Doctor was saying if I was doing exclusive breastfeeding for him he would have been strong enough to fight the malaria and he won't have it. So nah me e dey blame for giving baby milk so fast.

So he said we would run some test and blah blàh, bill was Sha getting much, so I felt like since his HMO card will be ready d next week, there was no need spending so much money I will just wait till d next week.
The pooping stopped that day Sha so I thought there was no need going back again when the card finally came out.

Two months later, my baby will just suddenly start crying from sleep o and wake up, I had to Google it and google suggested ear infection checked his ear and saw some white stuffs in one of the ear dunno if it's water from bathing or d infection

So I'm just dying in my head right now thinking that maybe my baby have been having ear pain for the past 2months and I didn't know

For me the pediatrician in Luth advised we use just cotton wool and water to clean out the tongue every morning before bathing and that's what we have been doing, and since then we don't have this issue anymore

see who we have here mama gave birth finish and went mia on all of us I almost sent u a PM sef how baby doing. I am sure he is a big big boy now.

Getting NiN for my 3month old boy have been a problem o. Even local government is saying their equipment isn't working.
Thinking of going ahead with my own passport registration and continue trying for his NIN. The plan was to do both together so we can get the same date for capturing. But as it is now I don taya and time no dey qyain.
Please who can help on this NIN issue

hello... Wanna say smtin abt dt salt u r using to clean baby mouth... Pls dont give baby salt to ingest cs it is said dt salt kill babies n toddlers brain cells... Infact in uk, we dont give babies bottle water cs dey put sodium in most of deir water... We just boil tap water n use to mk formula 4 babies... Ani ri laburu ooo... Amin!!! N moreover y dont u leave his mouth lik dt, no dey poke poke hand insude babies mouth, u fit introduce germs ehn... Shebi na breastmilk n formula u dey give am? Him nva start solid... My boy wey don start solid sef, ano dey wash him mouth cs der is no teeth... Cs dt is how i did his broda too n he doesn't ve mouth odour...... D white stuff will come off on its own...

So it seems it’s a universal thing then. I’ve never had pamper rash also. Shea butter is the only thing I use for my baby all through no baby powder or baby oil of any kind.

me too, I regret buying this very big baby powder because nah Me dey use am now w sef. Even his dusting powder. It was after giving birth I heard we shouldn't use any of those things for them again.

I use Shea butter for my baby too, perfect for his skin, but his face is lighter than his body . I use it as bumbum cream too to avoid pampers rashes and and our bumbum yaf been smooth all day long

I also keep like 3 extra clothes on the bed so I can change her cloth when it's wet. Fiam the new one Is wet before I know what's happening.. New Gen babies wey no dey like heat. I wonder how my baby will cope when it's heat period and there is no light, na to blow fan tire

sometimes even under fan we will still be using mouth to blow him air cos he will still be sweating everywhere

These our grannies knows little or nothing about these things, tell her you spoke to your doctor and he is against alcohol and hot water sitting.. I think that should do it.

Recovery process for C's is draining because ontop of that you have a little creature with you who's dependent on u on almost everything.. don't worry dear, slowing but surely everything will fall in place and be okay
