His formula takes about 5 to 6 days lol. Cos we add it to pap and for drinking too.

Sadly, it seems Asif my breastfeeding days will soon be over.
I went from pumping like 3 bottles at a time like three times daily, to just two bottles, to just one.. now I can't even pump half bottle in like 5hours.. sadly. Even tho pap and water and me nah 5 and 6.
Whatever made my breasmilk dry up didn't even wait for my baby to reach 6 months. That is his favorite food...d joy when he is taking it ehn


On the brighter side, I'm glad he now takes pap well and formula small small.. and also, he is growing well . . That makes me so happy

hello mama, my baby was having trouble latching on my bress cos he was more use to feeder than bress, so I used the shield so he can have the feeder feel while latching on my bress (u get?)
Some use it when their nipple is sore or the baby is over bitting it
Or when their nipzz is small and the baby can't feed on it well.
I stopped using it because the mill doesn't come out on time, my baby will have to suck and suck and suck it, swallowing plenty hair in the process which we all know is not good for the baby

Mamas in the house, Good day All. Please I want to ask, how often should a baby on breastmilk and formula poop in a day? My 4months old was pooping once in 5days when exclusively breastfed as at 2months old. We introduced formula NAN1 precisely at 3months2weeks which we give mainly once or twice daily,still mostly breastfed. The pooping reduced to once in 2-3days, then from last week monday till now, baby starts pooping like 3-5times a day. I complained to a health professional about it as i thought it diarhoea though baby is still very active, the poop is runny,seedy and tan to yellowish colour. He said i should give zinc which i did, no difference.i added flagyl suspension and it reduced to 3times daily, then i stopped after 2days because my mum is like the baby is just pooping well nothing is wrong with him. So i am just confused as to what is the normal frequency in a day so that i will know when to be alarmed. diapers are expensive

Hello mums, I want to share this based on my shikini experience and considering it might be helpful for some mums.

I've always read about how difficult potty training can be and I've always wished it'd be the opposite for me. When my babe was 4 months +, I went visiting a church member whose babe was 3 weeks older. She was airing the baby’s bum and also putting her on the potty occasionally to pee and or poop.

When I got home, ffiiiaammm I brought out mackintosh and cut into the size I wanted, cut wrapper and told my baby from today we start using the potty.. After she sold her first diaper and I clean her up, I will put her on the mackintosh with wrapper and start putting her on the potty. Is it Difficult? YES because we sometimes stay 20 minutes playing without a single wee but the moment I put her back on bed, she releases the tap . but there's no going back.

Gradually she began to pee and even poo in the potty. Sometimes when we wake up and she's yet to poo, I intentionally remove her diaper and we sit till she poops cos she poos every morning even if she'll still poop more, that morning own must come ... Sometimes she'll even eb crying in the potty o after during which poop will follow .. This morning after we've had our bath and her diaper was on her, I heard a loud fart and quickly tapped her buttocks, removed the diaper so she can sit. Immediately she sat, loud farts and poop followed... Lest I forget, azzidents do happen too and I don't blame her or myself for it cos its a gradual process.. If she can sit on it now, it won't be a problem as she'll continue to get used to it.. I also snap and make videos of her to show her later in the future ;D9

Sorry about the boring story, I just hope it'll be helpful especially for mums that stays at home and also on weekends for mums that work.

Whenever I UnCloth my baby to bath, I will put him in the bathing bowl and do shhhhhhhhhhh slowly, before you know he will pee, and later poo, sometimes if he hasn't poo for days, putting him in the bowl and shhhhhhhhh usually does d magic

Layormiii how na? I don't think anything is wrong with your bobo. Since he plays and eats well, and isn't showing any sign of discomfort.
His birthday mate here poops the same yellow, seedy, mucousy poop. Sometimes 4-6 times in a day. That's how we roll

Did he take ROTA recently, when was his last Immunisation? Maybe he's reacting to something in your diet, did you recently start eating what you haven't been eating since you birthed him??

Continue with the ORS even as you make plans on seeing a paediatrician not just a regular doc.. He'll be fine...

My baby has been purging since last Thursday abi Friday and I've been managing it at home with just ors. Didn't use d baby flagyl for him cos I read online that it's not needed.
Went to d hospital yesterday and doctor said there's nothing wrong with him, he gave me same ORS and zinc.
But he is still purging, tho it's usually not much in quantity but it's frequent.

Please how can I make d purging stop.
See as am awake by this time worried as I just change pampers
