1. That number is from India.
2. Those guys are like the kings of spamming and phishing.
3. Whatsapp is internet based.
4. After watching CSI: Cyber I'm careful of the things I allow access to my device.
5. Having wiki on whatsapp isn't worth the trouble.
6. The cost outweighs the benefits. Obviously.
7. Thanks but I'll take a pass on this one undecided

When the owners of whatsapp release a wiki feature for their IM platform I'll be sure to enjoy it. Until then, all these 'groups' around the world (read: Asia) should keep their help.

God bless you!
Btw, whatsapp won't have you add a weird number. Think of it this way, you are adding a contact who's hiding under the guise of 'wiki' it's easy to copy and paste off the web. Y'all just be careful is all I can advise.

Please are their lab scientist here to vet the analysis of this result. Some things did not syn with me about this report. For example

1. the sample was received on the 12th of July 2015

2. Final report was on 31st Dec 2015. (that is a 6 months gap to get a result for an endangered baby)

3. The report did not specify what sample was been tested for the cannabis

4. No signature or stamp to authenticate the result.
5. the FONT and FONT size are not the same.

I dont know who else thinks that this report was doctored to smear the lady (note: I'm not exonerating the lady as I do not have all the facts)

I totally agree with you

Just when we thought the drama was over, Davido has reignited the fire with a fresh message to Dele Momodu and also released evidence to prove that traces of Cannabis were found in his baby, Imade's blood stream. Read below... The second photo is that of Imade Adeleke on a breathing Exercise Administered Nightly to help her Lungs because of exposure to second hand Smoke and cannabis infected Breast Milk.. Remember that Davido's dad had stated that doctor warned that the baby should be separated from the mother because there where traces of cannabis in the baby's blood stream

Gbam!

Not just women my dear, men aswell. I have a Friend who willingly stayed with her brother and his family to look after their new born daughter since she wasn't working then (she'd tried applying but nothing was forthcoming). This brother of hers used to be somewhat close to her right before her decision to stay with them so it was to her surprise when after she stayed with the family for a month or there about, he flipped!. He would insult her at any given opportunity. He brought down her self esteem so much and he termed it 'tough love'. She couldn't tell their parents ofcourse. It was such a trying time for her. I know her not to be the lazy type, but the guy just was never pleased with what she did. One would have thought all that meanness was gonn be done by the sister in law, but she herself couldn't do much or say much or try to stop her husband than console the poor girl. That dear brother of hers destroyed her morales but now it has only pushed her to work for herself, though kinda messed up her idea of what an ideal family should be like and their relationship (brother and sister) is synonymous to nonexistent. But mentally, she's getting herself back gradually.

Hian!! What did I just read? Lool.. If she says 'gd am' reply with 'am'? What kind of girls does this work on? My dear, no serious guy would do this.

If a girl takes sometime to reply you, must you think she's intentionally doing it? You can ask if she's busy and have her message you when she's less busy. Trust me that works like a charm, it endears the you to the girl.

I didn't even read what you wrote about the 'don't apologize' part. My dear, if you are trying to play some child's game with a girl, and she's ready for it by all means use this technique. But if a guy should try this nonsense with me, he's not even worthy of being in the friend zone.

Choose maturity over child's play. Now that's sexy as hell

Dickson,Alamieyeseigha Ordered Out of Jonathan's Meeting With PDP Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) o Sunday held an emergency meeting at the country home of former President Goodluck Jonathan in Otuoke, Bayelsa State, it wades into the crisis rocking the state chapter of the party.

At the meeting, both the state governor, Hon. Seriake Dickson, and former governor, Diepreye Alamieyeseigha, were ordered out of the venue by the party leadership.

At the meeting which looked into the recommendations of the National Peace Committee for the state, the acting Chairman of the party’s BoT, Dr. Bello Haliru Mohammed, called on all feuding members and stakeholders of the party in the state to close ranks, while also upturning the decision of the state chapter of the party to expel some prominent members from the party.

President Jonathan was said to been scandalised by the action of the party at the state level, adding that the party cannot afford a major crisis less than five months to the governorship election.

At the meeting which was held at the Jonathan country home amid tight security, some uninvited prominent persons, including those who had already defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC), were walked out of the venue.
THISDAY gathered that attendance was based strictly on membership of the board and on invitation.

Those in attendance at the meeting included the BoT acting Chairman, Bello; the Secetary of the BoT, Senator Walid Jibril; the former Governor of Ebonyi State, Senator Sam Egwu; Dr. Cairo Ojuogboh and Senator Stella Omu.
While some loyalists of the expelled party leaders, including the embattled Chairman of the PDP in the state, Col. Sam Inokoba, claimed that the Chairman of the state reconciliation committee and first governor of the state, Alameiyeiseigha and other party members were barred from attending the meeting due to non-membership of the party BoT.

However, Inokoba and Senator Emmanuel Paulker were allowed into the meeting.

The state Secretary of the PDP, Mr. Godspower Keku, in a statement issued yesterday, confirmed the reconciliation of the party’s leadership by the BoT and that the decision to rescind the suspensions and expulsions, was taken on the request of Dickson, who is the leader of the party in the state.

He said the decision was taken in the best interest of the party, especially with a crucial election around the corner.

Keku, however, pointed out that the lifting of the suspensions was still subject to the ratification of the State Working Committee, which is expected to deliberate on it soon.

“The party welcomed the pardoned members and enjoin the party at all levels to involve them in all activities of the party, giving them second chance to prove their loyalty. All members of the party are enjoined to re-double their efforts towards ensuring victory for the party in the forthcoming governorship poll.”

The state PDP statement read: “The meeting, which was convened at the instance of President Jonathan also resolved to rescind the suspensions and expulsions placed on some members of the party, who have, despite the internal squabbles within its rank and file, remained in the PDP, unlike those, who defected to the opposition.”

The state PDP Secretary, Keku, explained that the decision was taken in the best interest of the party, especially with a crucial election around the corner.
He commended them for keeping faith with the PDP, despite the pressures to defect, like a number of others, who could not resist the temptation, despite having reaped bountifully from the PDP, since 1999.

Some of those affected by the decision included Senators Paulker and Nimi Barigha Amange, Ayakeme Whiskey, Mrs. Marie Ebikake, Hon. Waripamowei Dudafa, Ebikitin Diongoli and Mrs. Remi Kuku, among others.

We cannot advise you with the insufficient information you've provided.

1) what type of visa are you applying for? If it's visiting, you're entitled to a 6months visa that has no cap/restriction on your movement in the country within the six months.
You have to stay within the limit of your visa though, which is to visit/holiday,meaning you are not entitled to a paid employment .

2) How does your sister intend getting the so called papers for you after 6months?
To my best understanding-though I'm not in the states but I guess the immigration law is similar to the United Kingdom's.
You could never upgrade a visiting visa to a stay within 6months- matter of fact - you couldn't upgrade a visiting visa .
The best you can get is to become an illegal immigrant and trust me, I don't think it's a life you want to subject yourself to.You're basically going to be living like a prisoner.

Ask your sister these questions- what are her plans for you?- real and cogent plans .Are they feasible?
If they aren't or would subject you to being illegal ,it's not worth it one bit!

I see a lot of people here that get so excited about the prospect of going to western countries that they don't give it any deep thought or have a concrete plan and 10 years down the lane, they are still doing odd jobs and living in constant fear of deportation.
That life is no life!

Exactly!

Is 75k a good salary?
There is something called risk. Her decision now could better her future. Its even better if she goes there to school so she can fit into their job market.

A colleague of mine will leave his 300k job to do his masters and live there. Its a huge risk. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

I think calculated risk sounds better. One shouldn't embark on all risks.

Dear op, I have questions. What kind of visa is your sister wanting you to get? What if you are lucky enough to get a two year visa? I don't get why she wants you to hide at home. Has she planned everything out for you or what because I don't understand the estimated time. How is she expecting you to get your papers? After getting your papers, I believe you'd transition fine, but these questions before then need to be asked.

What exactly do you want? I wish you all the best in whatever decision you decide to embark on.
Politics / Re: How The Igbos Worked For Buhari's Victory -shettima by LBTY(f): 9:28am On Apr 02, 2015
EUROBOMBER:
Let me start by saying congratulations to Muhammadu Buhari for winning the presidential election and emerging as Nigeria’s president-elect. I have come to realise that Buhari’s victory is the will of God for Nigeria and so, I have come to accept him as my president.

I also want to congratulate President Goodluck Jonathan for being mature enough to accept defeat and concede the election. This man remains one of the greatest Nigerian presidents because he could have decided to set Nigeria on fire but chose the honourable path.

I want to also recognise all my fellow PDP e-warriors that stood beside the President. Thank you for your resilience and unflinching support all through the struggle. Also to recognise all the APC e-warriors who fought bravely in support of their party despite all odds and won the battle.

MY MESSAGE FOR BUHARI

Now that you have become the President, I want to let you know that the change Nigerians really need is not the change of personalities or political party, Nigerians are just tired of the way things have been going in this country. Nigerians are suffering; we struggle to provide basic needs that ordinarily the Government should provide. Thieves continue to steal and get richer while the majority of Nigerians are languishing in poverty. This is the reason why Nigerians have decided to give you a chance; the people believe that God can use you to turn things around in this country that is why you were voted for last Saturday.

(1) Fight corruption to a complete halt in this country especially in the petroleum sector. Sanitize the NNPC, ensure transparency and accountability. Nigerians all over should be able to benefit from our God-given resources. A few cannot continue to hold this country to ransom and steal at will.

(2) Provide stable and reliable power supply for Nigerians. This will enable SME’s to thrive and encourage investors to flock massively into the country. The cost of doing business in this country is crazy because of high energy costs. We must do away with generators in this country for good Mr President.

(3) Please diversify our economy. We cannot continue to depend heavily on oil in Nigeria. Sit down and take a good look at the six geopolitical zones in this country and find a way of harnessing all economic potentials for the good of all Nigerians. Our economy must be less dependent on crude oil.

(4) Deal ruthlessly with corrupt persons who believe that they can continue to steal and do business as usual. This is a democracy but Mr President, you are the C-in-C and you have enormous powers at your disposal, please use them! Don’t be like Jonathan who allowed his Government to be hijacked by criminals who looted the nation dry while Nigerians cried.

(5) Finally, Buhari could be the man that God could use to finally cement Nigeria’s bond of unity by handing over to an Igbo-Nigerian president after his tenure in office whether 4 or 8yrs. Like the Elder statesman Yakubu Gowon said, electing an Igbo president would heal the old wounds of the civil war. Buhari’s name will be written in gold both in the hearts of the Igbos if he can be the instrument to achieving Igbo presidency in this country. If Buhari, being a Fulani from the North can transfer presidential power to the Igbos after him then he will be like the hinge holding Nigeria together.

A WORD FOR THE SE

I want to thank my geopolitical zone the SE for standing with Jonathan till the end. Yes, he lost the election but we have made a bold statement that we can stand with you till death when we give you our word. There was immense pressure to abandon the minority Ijaw man and join the majority but we refused and stood with the minority till the very end. We must however join hands with the new president to move this great nation forward. Personally, I have concluded that Nigeria has come to stay since we have survived this 2015 presidential election. Let us also build good bridges with other geopolitical zones so that we can produce Nigeria’s president after Buhari. No zone can produce the president alone in this country; you need the support of at least four zones to produce the president!

Let us also eschew bitterness and drop all these talk about Biafra; we are Nigerians and we have everything to gain in this country if we can play our game well.

A WORD FOR THE NIGER DELTA

Thank God we can now say that Nigeria has produced a president for the first time from the minority in the person of Goodluck Jonathan who is about to leave office. I can understand the pain/anger because of the outcome of this election but the truth is that what has happened is the will of God for Nigeria; I see the finger of God in all these. This is Buhari’s time to rule this country; he is a man of destiny. He has come just at the right time to save this country from gliding into abyss.

Stop calling the Yorubas traitors and all that. Remember that the Yorubas overwhelmingly voted for your son in 2011 and rejected this same buhari. Check the figures and see that buhari was soundly rejected by the Yorubas in 2011. All Nigerians believed that Jonathyan would be a Messiah that would come and turn things around in this country; this was a man who had no shoes to go to school, who was from a poor background. Nigerians voted massively for him only to be so disappointed that he has not been able to make their lives better. Things are much more difficult for Nigerians now than when Jonathan took over. This is the reason why the Yourubas have rejected Jonathan this time. It is not out of hatred or gang-up but because he has not performed well! Same story about most of the MB and that is why Jonathan lost the MB. Nigerians never had it this bad, state Governors are owing salaries for months, people are hungry, unable to pay school fees and unable to meet their basic human needs.

How foolish can a Government be? Imagine someone that wants to come for a second term and civil servants were not paid their December salaries to celebrate Christmas! This is just unbelievable! It was in December last year that I began to question this Government in my mind but I still continued my relentless support on Nairaland for Jonathan. I saw my relatives who were Civil Servants going hungry during the Christmas celebrations, some could not even purchase new clothes for their kid, how painful!

As for me, I will do my very best in my own little capacity to support Buhari in changing this country for good. If things should continue the way they were going under Jonathan I wonder what the future of our children would be to be honest. It is God that has pushed out Jonathan not Nigerians because of all the prayers and crying that has gone up to him.

Let me also use this medium to appeal to all reasonable Yorubas on Nairaland to prevail on their people to stop opening funny threads about Igbo this Igbo that just because Jonathan lost. The APC people should stop opening threads to tell other Nigerians ‘Ntorrr’, we should move away from such pettiness and mediocrity.

A WORD TO THE CORE NORTH

And to the core North, let this election be a lesson and a reference point. A southerner sitting as president presided over his own defeat, accepted the results and went ahead to congratulate the winner from the north. In 2011 when Jonathan defeated Buhari, he refused to concede defeat but shouted that the election was rigged when we all know that he was defeated by Jonathan then. Nobody is burning tyres on the road in the South, nobody is burning Mosques, nobody is burning houses/cars and nobody is going about killing Northerners. Should the Northerners lose elections in future we expect them to accept the results and not disturb the peace. Jonathan has set a very good precedent not only for Nigeria but Africa.

Can I please kiss you? Lol
Superb write up!

just collected my resident permit card today and will be visiting nigeria august after 2yrs leaving my nation and a topic came my mind and will like to share with my fellow NL who have ppl overseas.

though i may not include some of the reasons but I am 100% sure of my own but you can include yours if you have.

jobless without a stable job:- yes, how can someone who is not eating 3 square meals remember ppl at home? this month he/she works and next month no job again and house rent ,water ,light etc are there to balance up.

Fraudster:- forget this kind of ppl and loose hope in them because they will never come home due to their crimes been committed within the country and he can't even near the airport if he is a wanted criminal. Abroad no be 9ja o ones they have your biometrics ,even if you bleach from black to green dey will get u.

Prodigal lifestyle ppl:- before you make up your mind living in abroad ,u must open your number 6 (brain) because life is too sweet abroad and this group of ppl spend there savings clubbing, partying, smoking, drinking and prostituting just frgt this kind of ppl dey can never remember home even if you tell them there parents are abt to die.

Illegal migrants:- 78% of Nigerians living abroad are living illegal ,majority came with 3weeks, 2month, 1month visas but will not have the chance to renew there visas until they finally meet up with the country requirements and mind you if you don't make the steps early enough, just forget visiting police station if you dont want to be deported. so this are the kind of ppl that spend more than 10years without visiting home.

The marriage scammers:- these group of ppl will never visit home because they have forcefully marry a citizen of the country dey reside just to get residence permit. oyinbo wife no be like nja o if you mention say u wan go your country ehh be ready to spend some weeks in jail cheesy

that's all I can write for now due to my experience and what I am seeing with my two eyes.

may God crown our hustle (Amen)

Bros, come and tell us how you got yours personally now since you said these are your experiences. From what I can get you haven't returned home because you didn't have the legal status. Congratulations on being a green card holder now, but it's either you married a citizen or you performed some magic. You can't file for asylum, and your work place filing for you would be long matter.

Anyway, na your trouble I just dey find :p it's never easy abroad. Congratulations my brother, God bless your hustle.

I THANK THE YORUBAS FOR GANNGING UP WITH THE NORTHERNERS TO
KILLED THE POOR MINORITY WHO SUPPORTED THEM
FOR YEARS.

I THANK THE EVIL GENIUES TINUBU WHO
UNDERSTOOD THE MEANING OF POWER AND
REMAINED RUTHLESS FOR ANY PERSON WHOSTOOD
BY HIS WAY.

I THANK THE NORTHERNERS WHO ONLY
VOTE THEMSELVES AND GANGED UP WITH YORUBAS
AGAINST THE MINORITY.

I THANK NDI-IGBO WHO
STOOD BY THEIR BROTHER GOODLUCK EBELE
AZIKIWE JONATHAN TILL THE END. I APPRECIATE
JONATHAN WHO NEVER LISTENED TO HIS SENIOR
ADVISERS TO REMOVE JEGA WHEN THE HAND
WRITING WAS ON THE WALL.

I AS WELL THANK
JONATHAN WHO SURROUNDED HIS SECURITY WITH
NORTHERNERS, THINKING THAT HE WAS PLACATING
THEM. LET ALL SUPPORT THE GOVERNMENT THE
PEOPLE HAVE VOTED AND CHOSEN

Lol, it's not so my dear. I don't mean to sound tribalistic right now, so please forgive me, but igbos (not all) chose to be sentimental by voting PGej. This you know is true. I asked a friend of mine why she was voting for Jonathan and she said 'he's done very well, buhari will Islamize Nigeria' isn't that biased?
It's the same set of people that wanted jona out sometime back, all of a sudden because buhari entered the game, they changed their minds. It has nothing to do with being a Yoruba or an Hausa or an Igbo.

And if you are angry at the fact that Yorubas or the Hausas chose to vote for who they voted for because buhari is a northerner as well, them there's no foul play, as you voted for your brother/kinsman, they voted for Theirs. That aside, these are the same people that voted Jonathan in the last time so why are you crying wolf? Please drop all sentiments. Ndi igbos are no minority too by the way, please don't sell yourself short. At the end of the day, even if you don't believe in 'one Nigeria', we owe peace and forwardness to ourselves and future generations.

Thank you, and have a lovely night! kiss
