President of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide Apostle Johnson Suleman has countered a report published by a national daily which suggested he had predicted his death, Igbere TV reports.

The report came in the wake of the sudden death of founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations Prophet TB Joshua at 57.

The report put together reactions to a hashtag #Mytimehascome started by Suleman.

However, the cleric, on Tuesday, explained that the hashtag was not to say he was dying soon, but a “confession as believers.”

Senior pastor of House on the Rock Church Paul Adefarasin has written a touching love note to his wife Ifeanyi Adefarasin on their 26th wedding anniversary, Igbere TV reports.

Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham says she has only met fellow actress Lizzy Anjorin twice in her life, Igbere TV reports.

The 38-year old stated this during an Instagram Live session with actress Iyabo Ojo on Tuesday.

Toyin and Lizzy have been at daggers drawn since 2019 when a blog reported that the latter was held and searched for drug peddling during her hajj trip to Saudi Arabia.

Lizzy Anjorin subsequently accused Toyin Abraham of leaking the story to blogs.

Things got worse when Toyin gave birth to her son Ire in September 2019, with Lizzy claiming the actress was delivered of the child by an alternative medical practitioner.

The two shielded their swords after the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) threatened to suspend them.

Old wounds were recently reopened when Lizzy had an interview with social media influencer Esabod, in which she rained curses on Toyin her husband Kolawole Ajeyemi, and their son Ire.

Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have arrested a suspected illicit drug dealer, Moses Beriyate in Warri, Igbere TV reports.

Spokesperson of the command, DSP Bright Edafe, who disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday, May 19, said the suspect was arrested with 13 wraps of ''skunk and 3 wraps of Indian hemp'' during a raid at a black spot.

“On 11/10/2021 at about 1930 in compliance with Delta State Commissioner of Police directives on the clamp down/raiding of criminal hide outs in the state, the men A division Warri divisional rapid response team raided a black spot at Olabrakonopere Community in Warri and arrested one Moses Beriyate, who is the owner of a drinking bar,” Edafe stated.

“information has it that the said suspect deals in illicit drugs and Indian hemp, but luck ran out of him that day. When search was conducted at the bar, 13 wraps of skunk, 3 wraps of Indian hemp was recovered. Investigation is ongoing,” he added.

Announcing Baba Ijesha’s arrest in a statement last week, Lagos police spokesman Olumuyiwa Adejobi alleged that the actor had been sexually assaulting the teenager since she was seven.

The statement reads: “The Lagos State Police Command has arrested one Olarenwaju James ‘male’ 48, aka Baba Ijesha, popular Nollywood actor for defiling a minor.

“The case of defilement was reported on 19th April, 2021 by one Princess Adekola Adekanya ‘female’ at Sabo Police Station and transferred to the Gender Unit of the State CID, Panti, Yaba Lagos for proper investigation.

“Based on preliminary findings, the suspect started sexually assaulting the victim, 14 years, since she was seven years old. The suspect confessed to the crime and was also captured by a CCTV camera in the house of the complainant.”

Actresses Tonto Dikeh and Biodun Okeowo, alias Omoborty, have called for severe punishment for Baba Ijesha if he is found guilty of sexually harassing the girl.

TV personality Frank Edoho has rejected calls to replace colleague Ebuka Obi-Uchendu as host of Big Brother Naija in the forthcoming season six, Igbere TV reports.

Mr Edoho was on Friday forced to speak after social media users called for a change of host for the popular reality TV show. Some even called for media personality and actress Nancy Isime to replace Ebuka.

In 2017, Ebuka, who is himself an alumnus of the show, was named host of the second season which was rebranded as Big Brother Naija. He has hosted the show ever since.

Edoho, on the other hand, gained popularity for hosting the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire show for 13 years which was sponsored by telecoms giant MTN.

Suleman was recently accused by a former subordinate Mike Davids of committing adultery with his wife Faith Edeko.

Davids had also filed a petition to the Inspector-General of Police Mohammed Adamu, alleging that Suleman was interfering in his marriage, threatening his life and denying him access to his three children. He also filed a N2 billion suit for alleged unlawful interference in his marriage.

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has gifted Nollywood veteran Lanre Hassan aka Iya Awero a three-bedroom flat in the newly commissioned Prince Abiodun Ogunleye Housing Estate, Igbogbo, Igbere TV reports.

Tonto had announced that she was named the NCPC ambassador for peace-building after a meeting with its executive secretary Rev. Yakubu Pam.

However, Pam on a later date said on social media that Tonto only visited his office and was never made the NCPC ambassador.

Nollywood actress Bukunmi Oluwasina has made a video to welcome her child to the world, Igbere TV reports.

The dark-skinned shared the wonderful news on Instagram on Thursday.

Just like singer Simi recorded a song ‘Duduke’ for her child, Bukunmi recorded ‘Hey Child’.

“Hey Child, I wrote this song for you,” she wrote.

In another post Bukunmi shared lovely pregnancy pictures.

She wore a yellow crop top and a skirt with a slit at the front paired with gold jewellery.

According to the video, Bukunmi hopes her child will grow up to listen to the music for motivation and a great reminder of who he/she is.

The lyrics also took a glimpse at what life will be and how her child will overcome struggles while growing up.

Bukunmi said her dad had told her ‘family is important’ so her child should not give room for anyone to disrespect his/her family.

Bukunmi married her husband in September 2020.

She said she and her lover had been together before they attended universities.

“I remember 2010, when we were leaving.. And I told u to give me something to hold, to always remind me of you,” she wrote.

Nollywood actress Mide Martins has backed her colleague Omoborty on the set of a movie titled Premium Babes, Igbere TV reports.

Mide, 41, shared the video on Instagram on Monday.

Omoborty could be heard telling mide to carry her well and not let her hit the ground.
