3 days after being attacked by some area boys, at a movie location in Ikorodu, Lagos, Kemi Afolabi has reportedly lost her pregnancy. The hoodlums also attacked movie producer, Ijaduade Azeez, and broke his legs, for not giving them money.
Cameraman and some of the crew members were also attacked during the incident which happened in the afternoon of Sunday, March 13, 2017. A number of valuable items were damaged during the incident. Kemi who is currently receiving medical attention in a hospital in Victoria Island, was left bleeding after the incident. .
She was reportedly expecting her second child with her UK-based lover, Wale Adesipe. Her spokesperson said: ‘One of the hoodlums hit her in the tommy and she started bleeding." The husband of the actress is said to be devastated by the news.

8-month-old baby stabbed by his own mom, undergoes a successful operation in Ebonyi State
It was a glory sight at the Accident and Emergency Unit of the Federal Teaching Hospital (FETHA), Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, as an 8-month-old baby boy was stabbed by his reportedly mentally-sick mother and brought into the ward for surgery with the knife still stuck in the boy’s abdomen.
Full details of the incident couldn't be obtained, as the suspect, who was said to be a wife of a serving police Sergeant, was said to have been taken to a psychiatric hospital for treatment, it was gathered that the incident happened at the police barracks, Abakaliki.
The woman who allegedly has periodic major mental disorder pierced her baby’s stomach with kitchen knife and left the knife stuck in the baby’s stomach when somebody saw it and raised the alarm that attracted neigbours.
Chief Medical Director of the Federal Teaching Hospital, Dr. Emeka Ogar, said the baby had been operated upon and the surgery was successful and expressed shock at the incident.

It is no longer news that Tonto Dikeh has confirmed earlier reports that beautiful actress and aide to her her hubby, Rosaline Meurer, is sleeping with him. But after coming out to debunk the rumours of their affair when news of the marriage crisies first broke, Rosaline Meurer had chosen to not to clarify herself further. What this means is that her earlier rebuttal of the rumours, to wit, that Churchill is like a big brother to her and family, and that people are just spreading rumours to break a beautiful home, still stands. Strong words you’ll agree. The type most women would love to hear at a time when the issue of domestic violence and abusive from men is getting serious attention in a feminism soaked atmosphere. But what this invariably means for Tonto Dikeh who has since the crash in her marriage become the champion of the same cause, is that Rosaline Meurer might yet be giving her another run for her place in this direction. This is because, if Tonto Dikeh’s accusations in her interview about Meurer are true, then the Dutch-Nigerian lady may be wanting more than her man and the big cars.
This is just a conjecture based on certain analysis. But on a critical level, would you subscribe to the notion that Rosaline Meurer wants Tonto Dikeh’s life? If that were possible, was packing out of her home not as good as conceding defeat without putting up a fight?

According to new reports picked up by our radar in our investigations into the case between Miss Stephanie Otobo and Apostle Suleman, his church, Omega Fire Ministries who are also doing their investigations, claim they have uncovered the personality pulling the strings against their client. And it is allegedly none other than Kaduna State Governor, Mallam El-Rufai. Shocking? This new development was contained in a statement issued in Abuja on Tuesday, where the church, through its spokesman and Communications Manager, Phrank Shaibu, stated that facts and available intelligence incontrovertibly pointed to the Kaduna Governor as the mastermind of the allegations.

According to him, El-Rufai decided to sponsor the allegations as a strategy to silence Apostle Suleiman and to take revenge for the latter’s famed audacity of standing against the persecution and killing of Christians in Southern Kaduna. In his words: “It is clear that Mallam Nasir El-Rufai is the mastermind of these allegations. The masquerade has been unveiled and is now dancing naked in the market Square. We don’t need to look any further for the source of the smoke.”
Shaibu further contended that apart from the initial suspicion by the church that the Kaduna Governor may be behind the evil plot, the latest so-called revelation by one Queen Esther, a supposed usher of the Omega Fire Ministries finally uncovered the lid as to who was sponsoring the myriad of allegations against the General Overseer. According to him: “When Festus Keyamo in his first letter to our pastor made allusion to fulani herdsmen, we dismissed it as a coincidence. Then intelligence revealed that some persons are lodged in a hotel being trained on how to clone Apostle’s voice and crop videos. The first question that crossed our mind was who was paying the bills, especially the huge media blitz that has trailed the spurious allegations. We did not have to wait for long before El-Rufai exposed himself. Indeed, he could not wait for long before coming out of the closet”.
The spokesman wondered why the said Queen Esther, who allegedly pleaded for the media not to reveal her real identity should give as condition that the Kaduna State Government must guarantee her safety if the governor had no hand in the plot. “Why is the said Queen Esther asking for protection from the Kaduna State government. Is the government now the police or the Department of State Services (DSS)? Why did she not mention any other state? Is it not obvious that she is telling us what her sponsors are willing for Nigerians to know?” he asked.
Shaibu argued that it was more than a coincidence that these allegations are coming up no soon after the Senior Pastor had an altercation with the same Kaduna State Government over the persecution and killing of Christians in Southern Kaduna. He therefore urged the security agencies, particularly the DSS to investigate El-Rufai’s involvement in the unfolding saga, particularly the possibility that he may be harbouring a private militia. In his words: “Since the governor does not control the police or DSS, the likelihood is that the governor has a private militia. It is also possible that the so called fulani herdsmen on rampage in Southern Kaduna are part of his army. That is why El-Rufai was unsettled by the pastor’s stand against them,” he declared.
These are grave allegations with a heavy burden of proof. While it may seem necessary to refute the damning claims being made by Stephanie across the media, this new development might seem to be a scatter-gun approach on the part of the Omega Fire Ministries. What is more, the Apostle who is reportedly away on religious duties at a crusade in the United States had resigned himself to accept the image smearing revelations as a spiritual battle.
May be it is time both parties allow the police and investigative journalists do their jobs? What do you think?

As much as I thought I have read more than enough on former president and elder statesman, Chief Matthew Olusegun Aremu Okikiola Obasanjo, I was more than stunned by ace journalist’s Dare Babarinsa narration of the soldier’s odyssey from the army days to date.
Perhaps what further caught my fancy was how he discussed his encounter with the brain behind the first military coup in the country.
Excerpt below:
On January 13, 1966, Obasanjo had arrived in Kaduna after a military course in the United Kingdom. He decided to put up with his friend, Major Chukwuemeka Kaduna Nzeogwu, an instructor at the Nigerian Army. That night, the two friends shared the same bed. The following day, Nzeogwu left at dawn and he was not to return until the following morning with a bandaged hand. Unknown to Obasanjo, Nzeogwu had been busy leading Nigeria’s first military coup. He had also led the assault on the official residence of Ahmadu Bello, the powerful and much respected Premier of the Northern Region, killing him and one of his wives and bringing into a sorry end, the First Republic.
If Obasanjo had arrived a week earlier, he would have been told about the coup by his friend and may be would have become part of the plot. But it was still a dangerous thing to be associated with Nzeogwu, the assassin. Soon, some soldiers and civilians seeking to revenge the killing of Bello and some top military officers, were looking for Obasanjo to add him to the statistics of death. He went underground. The new ruler in the North, Colonel Hassan Usman Katsina, the first military governor of the defunct Northern Region, decided to send him to a safe place in Maiduguri. “That young man has a future in Nigeria,” Hassan Katsina said. He could not have been more prescience.
But that would not have occurred but for the happenstance in the then Congo (now Democratic Republic of Congo) after the first prime-minister Patrice Lumumba was assassinated and Obasanjo and many Nigerian troops had served as peace-keepers under the United Nations flag. A group of Belgian nuns were captured by the rebels and their fate can only be imagined in the hands of those rough men. Obasanjo was sent by his commander to go and negotiate the nuns’ release. Instead of peace, the rebels captured him, drove him away in the booth of their car and when they got to their camp, decided to execute him.
But it was Obasanjo lucky day. One of the rebels would not agree to his execution. As an officer, he was entitled to a pack of cigarette per day. Obasanjo, a discipline teetotaler, would freely give away his stick of cigarettes, including to total strangers. One of those who have benefitted from that generosity was the rebel soldier who was now pleading his cause. Soon a superior rebel officer came to intervene and Obasanjo was freed. Happenstance had saved him.

BREAKING NEWS: President Mugabe Dies At 93
The longest serving President of the Zimbabwe, Robert Gabriel Mugabe is reportedly dead, Daily Buzz SA can reveal.
Last night, it appeared that the Zimbabwean Godfather, Robert Gabriel Mugabe died after all frantic efforts to wake him up proved futile.
An autopsy will fully confirm the cause of death, but the best guess at the moment is a massive prostate cancer which he had been battling for a while now.
State officials have not yet released the name of his immediate heir but from the look of things his wife could probably assume his position temporary before proper arrangements are made.
He left behind four children,namely; Bona Mugabe, Robert Peter Mugabe Jr., Chatunga Bellarmine Mugabe, Michael Nhamodzenyika Mugabe and surviving spouse,Grace Mugabe.
Robert Gabriel Mugabe born 21 February 1924 was the longest serving President of Zimbabwe, serving since 22 December 1987.
As one of the leaders of the rebel groups in opposition to white minority rule, he was elected Prime Minister in 1980, serving in that office as head of the government, until 1987, when he became the country’s first executive head of state.
He had led the Zimbabwe African National Union – Patriotic Front (ZANU–PF) since 1975.
As of August 2016, he was the world’s oldest and one of the longest serving Head of State.
His 36-year rule has been characterised by gross human rights violations, resulting in him joining the world list of dictators.
Mugabe rose to prominence in the 1960s as the leader of the Zimbabwe African National Union (ZANU) during the conflict against the conservative white-minority government of Rhodesia.
Mugabe was a political prisoner in Rhodesia for more than 10 years between 1964 and 1974.
Upon release Mugabe, along with Edgar Tekere, immediately left Rhodesia with the assistance of Rekayi Tangwena in 1975 to launch the fight during the Rhodesian Bush War from bases in Mozambique.
At the end of the war in 1979, Mugabe emerged as a hero in the minds of many Africans.
He won the general elections of 1980 after calling for reconciliation between the former belligerents, including white Zimbabweans and rival political parties, and thereby became Prime Minister on Zimbabwe’s independence in April 1980.

Barely a day after a spokesperson for Tonto Dikeh’ s estranged hubby, Churchill Oladunni, explained that his boss has his own way of reaching and communicating with his son, and by extension his ‘park-away’ wife, the Nollywood actress has herself thrown up action indicative of reconciliation between them. This much we deduce from her rare display of a poster to an event for which she is billed to participate where the organisers boldly addressed her as Tonto Dikeh Churchill.

Not surprisingly, her fans already have begun congratulating her for the reconciliation on her comment section. But while the excitement over the possible reconciliation hits the air, a critical look at the post shows that the organisers might have inadvertently thrown up this assumption by many of Tonto Dikeh’s fans. This is because, for as long as there is no official document of a divorce between the estranged couple, Tonto Dikeh can still rightly be adressed as Mrs Churchill, although as she is not legally bound to use it or be addressed as such. More interestingly, the law of the land allows her to even continue using the name even after a divorce, until she get s married to another man.

So, there you have it, the excitement about a reconciliation might just be misplaced after all. Still, Tonto’s decision to share the post the way it is may also be part of the mind game or schemes of the ‘naughty social media controversy queen’ we all used to know, especially after ostensibly removing it from her bio.
