Vecharry:You can pay in Naira into any of their accounts stated online. Hold your booking before proceeding to pay. A converter is on their website for you to know the naira equivalent of what you are to pay. Pay the exact amount, don't even approximate. Quote your PRN and phone number as payment remark and send receipt to losreservation@ng.qatarairways.com also using PNR and phone number as heading this time. An e-ticket would be sent to you. |
omabiodun:I really doubt this is possible for students who dont have return tickets within two weeks. But hey, if you see please do let us know. All the calls i put through to bankers i know returned negative. |
This information is for those considering using form A to make tuition deposit. I applied for tuition balance payment using form A through Gtbank. I got debited the next day. Tuition Balance = £1100 Amount debited = N630,386.68 This is about N573 to £1. All administrative charges and commission inclusive. I am still looking for a way to pay for my accommodation using same form A. This is far much better, than using black market rates to make international payments. |
johnsonsegxy:Send me a mail leggybmax@gmail.com, i would respond. |
vickyuche:Hi, on the website, there is a currency converter where you can input the dollar value to get the naira equivalent. Pay exactly the amount as seen on the conversion to their account details. Generate a receipt and send to the email i placed on my previous post. Remember to state your PNR and phone number as heading this time. |
johnsonsegxy:14th |
johnsonsegxy:Yes! 13th. Abuja to lagos to doha to london |
Kenny4smart:You may not like it, but a third party is another alternative. |
Vecharry:Through form A. Same as the tuition deposit. I presented BSc cert, offer letter, tuition invoice, accomodation invoice, flight ticket and passport. The filled form A and consent letter given by bank to fill were all returned. |
Vecharry:I need answers to these too. Banks appear to be running internal policies. Gtbank accepted my tuition fee payment via form A and rejected my application for accomodation payment simply because it is not a university hall. I explained that most universities have partnership with private providers. He didnt pay attention to me. Meanwhile, i wrote to headquarters and a reply came in saying, as long as i am processing for tuition and have all requirements, that makes me a genuine student and my application for accomodation payment shouldn't have been rejected. Why is life so hard here? |
Padraic:I called their number (check it on ncdc website) and was told that i can get it same day or the morning before my flight. Please call to hear from them, you would be asked some questions regarding your flight schedule. |
Vecharry:No Sir. |
Padraic:Following. Please let me know when you confirm a good place. Flying from Abuja too |
Amarathripple0:Co-asking. I went to Gtbank yesterday to process part of my tuition. He refused processing tor accomodation into a private property. He said he can only process into university accounts. I am not sure this is in line with CBN directives. Please anybody with useful information on this can assist us. I use Gtbank, can i process form A in another bank? |
PMID:I used Qatar website. If you have a dollar card it would be easier. But what i did was to make a booking, put it on hold and use the PNR number generated to make a direct transfer to their Gtbank naira account. Afterwards, i sent the payment Evidence to losreservation@ng.qatarairways.com with my PNR and mobile number as a remark. Same day, e-ticket was sent to my registered email address. Register online on their website and take a look. All instructions are there for you to follow. I returned later to select my seats and meal preference. |
lekan1000:Qatar Airways is experiencing a rush now. If Qatar sells for 600k, it means BA to London direct would now b like 1.5m lols. |
lekan1000:I booked last week. Lagos to Doha to London for 212k. 11th September is the departure date. Early booking and travel date affect the overall cost, but you see this 700k, e shock me. U sure? |
Vecharry:I did a self upload. Only my passport, a copy of it and the first page of my checklist was needed. |
Vecharry:They were not on my checklist. I only needed to submit my Bsc and Waec according to my CAS, and the other compulsory documents like TB and passport. I added them to probably avoid any questioning or not straightforward mails. |

Tolvin:This is really disturbing. Please check your application to ensure you didnt cancel or withdraw your application. You should reach out to UKVI as soon as you can. I really do not think this is a refusal. Also search all your spam folders just for possible mails from them. It is likely that a decision on your application cannot be confirmed under this circumstance. You will be fine regardless. |
Justice2700:I am interested in knowing the solution to this. I intend to use abuja for my biometrics too but that notice is not clear |
Owlette:Did you pay yourself? How did you do it? Help me with the procedure you took. |
Thanks for the chat hassan |
yinkaloo:i hardly believe a thing from this people so DO NOT take this too seriously. we were told in the island center that the tuition fee is N100.000.00 but with a 50% scholarship(reason for the test) you would be paying N50,000.00. |
These cad test people are acting really funny, at first we were told this is a partnership with redeemed church, and then on the day of the test, we were told in island center that it is 50% scholarship. we wrote that text and till this moment, my results have not been revealed to me. Today, i received the following test message...."u have one week left to make a payment of N10k (Acceptance fee) to redeem ur 45% scholarship. some classes are scheduled to start on 15th june. Bank A/c name: Riverbank technologies & Engineering services limited, A/c no: 1013203219. Zenith bank. call 08087453059 for further details" you can imagine this. i tried calling the line but all to no avail. this is embarrassing, they even send there sms in shorthand; highly unprofessional. |
i wrote on the 16th in island center lagos......its funny when cadd center claims to partner with rccg to bring scholarship to people 50%. meanwhile all over the advert pages for the 2015 cadd quest, it is written free free free. how can an absolutely free scholarship cost 50% tuition? eh? as much as i love the cadd quest programme, the advert is kind of faulty and really unclear. we were all surprised on that center when a tutor came in and started rattling on the 50% thing. my mind was like "here we are again...nothing is free after all". awaiting the result and next step anyway. |
I relocated from lagos to edo state (auchi) two months ago, I have been looking for a place where I can get a new laptop. It appears to me that the IT market here aint booming. Can some one please give me an address where I can go and buy. I really don't want to shop online and I don't wanna risk travelling to lagos either. I expect nairalanders + laptop marketers/importers to contribute to this post. Thanks in anticipation. My specs if its important to you guys is: Dell inspiron 15 2.5ghz processor 500HDD 6GB RAM 15.6" screen Intel core i3 processor Windows 7 or 8 (I prefer 7) ....Addresses....please |

I love this part (3). Never put your working helmet on the back-screen of your car: funny as it sounds but it has led to many deaths and attack. Nigerians like to put their helmet there but for safety and security reasons its not advisable..You expose yourself to armed robbers and kidnappers.. Imagine you carrying a helmet of total, Elf and other big companies in your backscreen you are sending a message to this miscreant.. Put them in your boot instead. |
Ok....newly admitted students can log on to the university portal for your clearance, click on clearance when you log on to myaau.com. |
