So Sorry to hear about what happened to you. In my case I was married to an AA man and when I was pregnant he left me for another woman! well I went home to Ireland to visit my dying father and was told 'don't bother coming back' that I shoudl find an arab man who would appreciate me. Life can be terrible sometimes.

Apparently the poles have these type of signs up in their county about us Irish. They came here and absolutely milked the social welfare system!

I know a lot of people who had abortions most of them never needed any mental assistance and still don't but there is one or two that can't handle it.  I thought about having an abortion and even booked it. I never showed up. My daugther is fournow. In saying that I went through hell on earth b'cos my husband at the time, left me for another woman when I was pregnant and it was too far. Life goes on but motherhood aint easy either. The woman will always be left with the burden.

Yeah I wish my hubby coudl cook. I mean I love cooking but I cant trust him to boil one pot of rice cos the pots get destroyed to th point where they have to be binned. I actually will not let him into the kitchen (not that he ever tries to enter it!) He cannot even make one pack of indomiewithout overcooking them to be like slop. VERY ANNOYING. So fair play to you guys who do like cooking. It can be interesting. Its better that constantly planking your arse in front of the TV wathing footballand guzzling beer. Thats why my hubbys colesterol is ver high now.

Broccoli is an an cancer vegetable its very good for you, I don't really buy though as its not that cheap. Its lovely with lots of garlic, king prawn, onion etc.

Hi, I have known this Nigerian lady for a few years now through the local playgroup. Now I was not a very close friend as such. Anytime I would meet her she would try to bless me with holy water and qoute biblical passages so I viewed her as being quite a religious person. However some time went by and her phone is off for six months at a time and she is not seen around (she goes to UK to get welfare there aswell) so I presume she just travelled.

I bumped into her on the street recently and she said that her child (she never married) had been sick in the hospital as she was living without electricity for 4 months (which is true) I felt so sorry for her and the child and invited them for dinner. I made various phone calls to try and get her electricity switched back on (she gets 250 from social a week and its a council accomodation). I made appts for her here and there with organisations that may be able to assist her. sadly I spent some money and time preparing a hot meal for her and the child here alone when my husband was at work. She never even showed up nor did she ring.

It has now transpired that she has been letting out the property illigally to people and they were not paying the bills and is known to the police. She doesnt even live at the address. You woul never believe it to meet her. But as someone said earlier you never know someones motives. Just feel a little let down thats all.

Sara J's mam n dads story is genuine, they met through the missionaries I think. Thats so sweet Sara, you are a lucky girl to have your mam n dad together cos sadly its very very rare.

Maybe i'll be one of those cases very soon pls God, got our house (well he did) and put the deeds in both names. He took me to Nigeria too twice. I aknowledge however in the interim that we are from two very different cultures but we compromise. I do all the cooking (all the Nigerian stuff) then he minds the child if I have to do something he even hoovers sometimes and I never asked!!! ha ha ha. 

But no one knows what the future holds.

There are two white girls I know and they called their kids LaKeisha and Javonte YUCK! dont know why the nigerian father allowed it.

Thats why my daughters father is half yoruba half AA, he is about to become a professor. Never met his father and has no interest in meeting him (not like he would ever find him anyway)

So if all Nigerians are living in loveless marriages why are they continously giving birth to children? they are always pregnant or planning to get pregnant! they obviously have a fantastic sex life

its funny about when the white man snaps etc.  My niece her fiance, her took her phone apart and swallowed the chip it it.  When they have a row he wants to kill himself etc, even once he poured tomato ketchup all over his wrists! always sending her flowers, meals you name it, he kisses the ground she walks on. He makes me laugh sometimes though.  Dont think you can find a black man that would hurt himself for a woman not even for BEYONCE.

But Nigerian men are always up for a challenge they are agressive b'cos sometimes it takes someone to become agressive to 'wake' someone up. They are also very very good with children they possess other qualities that some other men dont. Pls do not misunderstand me I do not mean in sexual things.

you're very wrong saying white marriages dont last.
1. Is just cos women dont really accept certain things and are under no obligation to do so.
2. Freedom of expression
3. Societal changes
4. Irreconcilable differences.

If a marriage is based solely on the foundations of Christianity then cheating around with little girls surely would be grounds for divorce.

I never said it, its my husband is of this opinion that white men pretend to be gentlemen and that they are programmed to be like this.
