Family / Re: Will U Ask Ur Husband Where He Went, If He Came Late? by Leilah(f): 9:35pm On Aug 06, 2009
there is one lady I know (naija) her husband stays out til 5am. She just doesnt bother herself. I saw him cheat on her!

When she is heavily pregnant he is often out all night and goes on 'vacation' to Spain and Italy for two to three weeks. She never says a things. Mind you, this lady dresses like a complete trollop perhaps to try and satisfy him I dont know.

Me, I would always be curious of where my man is ( protect your marriage without naggin by asking).

Food / Re: I Don't Know How To Cook! by Leilah(f): 9:36pm On Jul 12, 2009
I never knew how to cook, best thing is to sign up to youtube, then just type in the name of what you want to learn and the video will come up. Start with bioling some noodles and seperately frying some meat, vegetable and peppers, then mix them all together.
Food / Re: Help Me Find Moi Moi Plates Please/i'm New Here by Leilah(f): 9:33pm On Jul 12, 2009
ha ha when I went to Nigeria I saved all these plastic moi moi containers that we got in some fast food place. They were great, they had a yellow lid on them. But, I wrecked them too by melting them by accident cry

Food / Re: Is It Only Me? I Don't Find Western Food Tasty by Leilah(f): 9:24pm On Jul 12, 2009

Food / Re: I Need The Recipy For A Tasty Soup ! by Leilah(f): 12:28am On Jul 11, 2009
There is bitterleaf soup its really nice and an igbo favourite do you have access to the traditional seasoning like ogiri (its a frozen fermented wrapped bean) same process as cooking the others but you need this bitterleaf and need to cook it seperately and keep draining it till the bitterness is off then add it to the should You will need conflour to thincken the soup.

Or else there is one soup called ofe nsala, this is really nice too. I think there is a like to it here on the forum so hang on I'll try to pull it up.

Ingredients:
tripe (he will love that!)or any meat really or you could use fresh fish or both even better
black pepper (about two tablesoons)
stockfish fish
smoked fish
crayfish
dry pepper
salt
pepper soup spice (two to three table spoons)
Onion
Yam paste for thickening or cornflour
ogiri wraps (if you can obtain them)
Water
maggi or knorr cubes 6-8
-
Method

Clean fish/meat and cut into desired sizes.
all the ingredients are ready put every thing into pot except for fish to prevent it from scaterring.
add ogiris
Add yam paste to thicken allow every thing to boil together.
Allow to thicken. Serve hot with pounded yam. Enjoy

PS cook the fresh fish seperately by seasoning it and putting it into the pot at the last minute.

Family / Re: How Would You Feel If Your Wife Was Flashing Her Body All Over Facebook? by Leilah(f): 10:32pm On Jul 08, 2009
She is a strange person, we often aranged to meet for a coffee and she simply wouldnt show up or sheo up like 2 hrs late. Main reason why we fell out is b'cos when my husbands bro was away on vacation about two years ago, she threw his sister out of the house over a flimsy arguement with her and changed the locks on the house. We just don't talk, my husband dislikes her also and doesnt even want me near her. I used to ask her for recipes and about the culture etc but she would just never be interested. she is only interested in party party party and showing off! I have tried to be as nice to her as I possibly could, but she doesnt mix with foreign ladies.

I am close to my husbands sisters though thankfully. Note, this is my husbands brothers wife. not his sister

Osisi, there are lots more weirdos at my end, drug addicts, rapists, criminals. Dont get me wrong. I was wondering whether or not it was a good thing in naija culture. On a general level no its not good for any woman. I was just asking an opinion not trying to get at anyone.
Family / Re: How Would You Feel If Your Wife Was Flashing Her Body All Over Facebook? by Leilah(f): 11:14pm On Jul 07, 2009
What reasonalbe married woman lets everyone see her black g string?
must be normal then I take it.

You claim youre such a religious person and close to God dont you? but yet you can turn around and call me white trash when I seek an opinion on morality. God bless you.
Family / Re: How Would You Feel If Your Wife Was Flashing Her Body All Over Facebook? by Leilah(f): 11:10pm On Jul 07, 2009
This thread is not about my family problems (in which I have none of) we just bought a house!
This thread is not asking for an opinion about my previous posts,
Sure if that was the case I would just continue with all the old threads.
I created this thread to see if its normal for a married Nigeiran woman to pose like this.
I asked opinions as I am quite worried about her.  sad

No, I am not jealous.
Family / Re: How Would You Feel If Your Wife Was Flashing Her Body All Over Facebook? by Leilah(f): 11:01pm On Jul 07, 2009
excuse me osisi! whether I'm a drunkard or not has no bearing on this thread. What are you out to get me for cos I'm white, i dont dress like a hooker, drink or no drink.
Family / Re: How Would You Feel If Your Wife Was Flashing Her Body All Over Facebook? by Leilah(f): 10:54pm On Jul 07, 2009
I did! he said she is 'of this character' when I told him he was furious but said he is staying out of this.
See through white mini dresses with black bras! sitting on her hubbys lap and you can actually see right up her skirt. Her husband was always the traditional type, he got her from a village. He was fifteen years in europe before he married her. I am just really shoked as this is not the same woman I have always known. She used to go to church and dress 'normal'.
