Culture / Re: My View: Nigerian vs Carribbean Women by Leilah(f): 11:40pm On Feb 24, 2010
Its all down to the cultural differences. Nigeiran men have to be treated like kings, wife does everything domestically and work F/T, doesnt drink, dosnt smoke any type of smoking. Drives him everywhere. Has millions of children and tells the welfare my husband is now 'In Nigeria' then they go rent out the social house and buy a house somewhere else.

If there is anyone in particular defrauding the system where I am you should come to Blanchardstown and see everysingle Naija woman well a large number of them claiming 'divorced ' or seperated (no such thing) they are costing the taxpayer billions! free four bedroomed houses is what they are getting plus 300 a week for OPFP, and are allowed retain income from PT work. They are f'in cleaning up man. Hard workers?

I work in the place and I'm very accurate on this matter.

MY F'ING ARSEEEEEE, then they always have to park up onto of the glass at the school and push me out of the way! always parking in the Disabillity Parking spaces too!

Are Jamo's like this.

This Govt is walkover. These people and any people for that matter, should be reported.

Culture / Re: Why Are Nigerians So Abusive And Insulting? by Leilah(f): 9:44pm On Jan 12, 2010
African Americans are loud too! its just the culture! they dont mean it and deep down a lot of the Nigerians are very good at reasoning. But on the street, a typical 'jist' can result in one calling the cops, thinking there is a fight. Now thats what people need to be mindful of. My husband and his friends were in a restaurant before and one neighbour was terrified and called the police b'cos she thought there was going to be a big punch up or something. The police knocked on the door came in and asked what the fighting was for, the guys just had to then explain they were just 'talking' about politicians etc. I thought that was so funny.

ONe good point is you guys do not use vile language liek the way we do here!

Culture / Re: I’m Your Partner Not Your Kitchen Slave… The Rebuttal To “new Age Nigerian Wife” by Leilah(f): 4:22pm On Nov 19, 2009
Its simply slavery there are some ladies I know here that work as nurses etc and work long shifts. In my culture here in Ireland even if a man works F/|T and his wife doesnt work at all he wouldn even expect all that!

But the Nigerian ladies, To my utter amazement the house does be absolutely gleaming they are constantly scrubbing the place while the husband lies don on the sofa guzzling beer and the woman has only returned from work and he is off onthe weekend!!. Hoevever there is one lady I kinow who broke out and said enough is enough and by God does her husband respect her now. My husband said that if it was in Nigeria a househelp should be employed. It seems to me that ther eis no such a thing as a break for these women. Thehusbands often travel away ALONE using the excuse that the wife has to work weekends. These women work like horses and never get tired do they know the meaning of the word tired?? is life all about constant work, money and pleasing hubby

Food / What Can I Give My Nigerian Husband For His Lunch Box? by Leilah(f): 2:26pm On Nov 19, 2009
Hi, usually its rice from night before or stew n yam. Other days I make a noodle stir fry. He doesnt like pasta thats not fresh he said he doesnt like pasta at all and he doesnt like european or middle eastern food so I ALWAYS cook Nigerian stuff. There is always soup and stew in the fridge but he cannot take soup to work b'cos it smells too strong. He said he is fed up of eating rice at work. I have made moi moi also but only like that fresh too. He doesnt like sandwiches. He wont bring beans cos he will fart. His cholestorol is quite high (7.5)so he needs to avoid KFC. I aske dhim what his father would eat on his lunch break and he said swallows (well obviously, thats in Nigeria) so I dont know, this is reminds me of my mothers cat who only eats fresh fish and nothing else. Any ideas for this?
Culture / Re: The New Age Nigerian Wife by Leilah(f): 8:56pm On Nov 17, 2009
I agree if the woman doesnt have a 9-5 job 5 days a week, if she does then the hubby should get up off his ass and do the dishes then if he doesnt want to cook.
Family / Re: Do You Sing In Shower? by Leilah(f): 9:56pm On Nov 13, 2009
Singing in the shower attracts 'jinns' spirits in Islam, although I don't practice now this was another thing that was drilled into my head.
