Oba Sikiru Adetona, the Awujale and Paramount Ruler of Ijebuland, has described as an abomination, any attempt to politicise the Ojude Oba Festival. Speaking at the festival on Thursday while reacting to the chants of supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC), whose members also displayed brooms at the festival, Awujale expressed his displeasure with the action, stating that the festival was about culture and tradition, and not politics. Senate President Bukola Saraki, alongside a few other lawmakers, had attended the event. Saraki, a special guest of honour at the event, arrived at the venue on Thursday, and was pictured paying obeisance to the Awujale. Reacting to the chants of "APC! APC!@ which emerged from a small crowd at the festival, the Awujale said: Ojude Oba is over 100 years [old]; what you did today has never happened before. Many groups are here but what you have done today has never happened. “I believe most of you are not members of the APC. We have people from the Peoples Democratic Party, APC, and Social Democratic Party, among others, here. “Ojude Oba is about culture and tradition. It is non-political. It has been like that since our forefathers started it. It is an abomination for anyone to drag politics into it. “I want to appeal in the name of God, such an act should not repeat itself here. Those people who hired you, if they are bold enough, they should show their faces.” http://saharareporters.com/2018/08/24/its-abomination-%E2%80%94-awujale-says-chants-apc-ojude-oba-must-never-happen-again

The bandwagon effect |
Okay. So excluding the fan for now, what kind of inverter can power my appliances? Kampack: |
I couldn't find the power rating for the fan. But it's an 'OX' ceiling fan. TV 57watts Laptop 65watts GoTv 10watts. As for the bulbs, I'll get ones with lower power ratings. Kampack: |
Hi Kampack and other inverter/solar professionals out here , kudos for the work you are doing here. I am new to the inverter/solar arena though. But it is something I've been considering for a while now. With a budget not more than 50k how can I power my.. 32" TV GoTv decoder Ceiling fan Laptop And two 36watts bulbs? And probably charge one or two phones For nothing less than 7hrs. Kampack: |
Hehe...even the avengers cannot recover that bag |

I don't know your definition of evangelism. But if it's walking around town ringing bells and telling people Jesus is coming soon, no, I don't do that. I show love to my neighbour whenever I can and do not wish them evil. |
I stopped reading here... This is the truth: God is a God of standards and principles. When God created the world, He made it with purpose and principles. In other words, there are certain principles that governs the universe which God won't want to interfere with (God made them so in the first place). Please find something meaningful to do. If you have nothing to do, do your laundry or bathe your goat ![]() |
