onegentleguy: From a fundamental perspective, GSK is relatively healthy. Note the term "relatively".
On TA, coy has been witnessing a drive in sentiment(in the + direction) since April following successive downtrend in Q1.(Jan-March) Yesterday's price of N8.60, which was both its MtD & YtD high also came at the back of its highest MtD & YtD vol the previous day, suggesting possible new entrants.
Looking at its MA(on the daily), price sits comfortably above its 50 and 200 TF, but RSI currently suggest that price might take a break in the coming days.
At today's closing price of N8.10, GSK has already returned over 130% from its 52 weeks low of N3.45, so u might want to consider booking some profit. ...and utilize the funds elsewhere. That said, there is also a possibility for all HEALTHCARE coys(lead by GSK) to continue their run up in price given the current pandemic in place. ...especially where the current positive mkt trend/sentiment is maintained.
So it's up to u. Everything depends on ur investment strategy, horizon and goal.
@Fxuser, RabbiDoracle and others might also wish to add to this. ...so u can also ask to get their perspective.
Selah. Thanks |

We think that a 230 to 279% gain is feasible in the near term. However, all those in might gradually consider booking their profit in line with their investment personality, horizon and goal.
It is well.

meine: Newbies should take this posters stock recommendation and criticisms with a pinch of salt. This guy hardly market any stock for selfless reasons. He drops comments to influence panic sales to enter low and when he enters he begins to hype his stocks.
I saw through his charade with Wapco, at N12.85 Niggar was getting more people into the bus so he could exit at a premium. While few selfless posters were advising would be buyers to wait for PULLBACKS. When i see people like this ,i will call them out. Its better not to post at all but to post for selfish reasons.
The wise ones here have said it all, know what you are buying and why you are buying it.

Mcy56: So you're promoting Guinness now again? It's not going to sub 10 again? You can see that I was right with my comment that you are badmouthing because you wish to enter cheaper. You did this for Wapco but what happened later? You changed and rushed in at 10.70 or thereabout. Let me remind you what you said afterwards: "You said if you can't beat them you join them". Meaning you were bad mouthing it so you could enter cheaper that time. Oya argue it. That man is catching his fun and playing with peoples emotion/hard earned money. It is obvious he does not have any investment on the NSE. I stopped taking him serious long time ago. Nairaland should just add block button for us. |

freeman67: Some of their statements sometimes hurt some of us that are still trying to get it together in this stock bussiness. ChibuKing81 I have always known to be an alarmist and won't give his opinions some thoughts when make a serious decision. However, for Stcool I considered his thought and sold off my tasere 20,000 units of UBA @ N5.30 and Zenith @ N13.70 so that I can load more when the market comes down.
I did that because I do not want to be caught napping the second time. I had to average all the little shares I have in my portfolio because I did not heed the sell call earlier.
There were my decisions and I take full responsibility for them. However, I will advice the newbies to take their call with a pinch of salt. Stcool helped in preserving your cash. Cash is king The important thing is you taking full responsibility of your decisions. |

Mcy56: Peter, Year low of caverton was 2.03. Where did you see the 80kobo? Can you state the date within the last one year where it sold for 80k? Think you should just stick to your uacn you're busy doing jijo and monkey hunting. Once you enter you start promoting with good news, once out you start bringing bad bad news just to re-enter cheaper again. Quite some coys will feel the covid heat, so no need to bad mouth one out of many. Calm down |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by leo1234(m): 9:35pm On May 26, 2020 |
Mcy56: Jide, its somehow difficult to convince someone that you didn't sell off cos you anticipated reduction in 2019 dividend. Anyway, since you said it was mistake, let's assume it was........but we should remember not to hoard info should we be privy to one. Caverton is not bad at current price but the level with which guys here were condemning the stock is worrisome. The good thing however is that Mr. Market will do what Mr. Market will do irrespective of Nsempas opinions, I just feel for those who would lose money out of panic cos of all these negative opinions. Someone even mentioned N1. If someone could be waiting for Zee at N5, then this shouldn't come as a surprise. The thing is: anyone that doesn't have the stock does not need to create unnecessary panic with the aim to enter at cheaper price, just leave it for those having it to deal with the headache. Shikena! We know them. All we can do is to ignore since block button is not available on nairaland. |
