emmanuelewumi: Why should you take a loan without collateral? What happens to the bank if customers can't pay back the loans?
Things are actually getting better, in the past customers came with collateral that we're twice the size of the loans but the banks declined granting loans to them Actually the loan is available to those with salary accounts or constant income flow. |

meine: This baseless RANT should be taken to the political section. You are crying more than the bereaved. The serious banks will always find a way to sustain, there are many ways to kill a rat.
I have been banking with GTB and Zenith for more than 15years not once did they offer me 1million overdraft. With the new CBN policy they are all mailing me to take loans. I have taken GTB quick credit 3 times in a row to invest in my business. If na before dem go put money for TB and go to sleep while entrepreneurs dey struggle. Be kiaful o. That quick credit by GTB is really nice. Just imagine assessing 1 million in less than 2 minutes without collateral and at a good interest rate. I wish they can increase the maximum tenor to 2 years or more. |

Just my opinion. It may or may not get there. You can start cherry picking from 1.68/1.70 based on your investment objective. No money. |

Business › Re: Which Bank Is The Best For Savings Account In Nigeria? by leo1234(m): 2:30pm On Jun 29, 2020 |
kponkedenge: I would say Ecobank, I receive credit alert from them on my savings account despite the fact that I hardly ever use the account. My most active accounts are in Access bank which I have two accounts there. I have never ever received any credit alert from Access bank..... Only debit. I was recently debited for the stamp duty charge three times and only credited back twice. I'm still waiting for my N50 balance. Ecobank rarely debit my account. You are paid interest by Ecobank because you don't withdraw frequently from the account. Access bank will also pay you interest if you don't withdraw frequently. |

ukay2: Definitely.....
Why did Access Bank not comply with the directives like other banks by deducting the stamp duty small small without their customers complaining.
Let's see how many millions they will discount from their Q2 result from this avoidable mistake You should be talking of billions bro. No interim dividend for investors. |

freeman67: There bunch of thieves. Imagine charging me for deposits I made to my account by myself. That action alone is at variance with the Finance Act 2019 that they claimed authorized them. They didn't do anything different. All banks have been doing the deduction silently without alerts. |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by leo1234(m): 9:37am On Jun 28, 2020 |
ukay2: Heard so....
What is happening? Banks have been deducting 50 naira for every deposit into your savings account that's above 10,000. Access bank has not been doing that, now they are deducting the accumulated charges from customers. |

Uchetoba: Seunn11 is not a wicked man, he has the right to desire UACN @ N4 just I desire to buy more UACN @ N5. Even ARM also has the right to desire to sell their UACN @ N96.
Now to correct an impression, I did not sell my land just because I was in a horry to buy UACN, rather I sold it to provide for a back up in case the price of UACN choose to go down after investing 100% of what I had in my porfolio before selling the land. As it stands now I have a whole lot of cash (sales of the land, dividend of wapco and little dividend of JB. And I am still waiting for the dividend of UACN by 16 July to join them in case the unbundling continues to delay) waiting for the price of UACN to fall to N5 and below.
Like I said ealier I am willing to wait for the UACN and the unbundling project untill December 2020.
I have no fear at all because i did a very good research before deciding to invest into UACN
I konw what I am investing into and my reason for investing in it.
One of the top secrets of the world billionaires is that they invest in things that they know very well they do not gamble All the best bro. |
