My point was simply , how many Nigerians will be ready to buy those cars for we to claim we have a functional "automobile" industry , talk more of exporting them . it is quite simple , if innoson motors partnered with peugot or bmw as it is the case in south africa , you can be sure it will be bought by Nigerians . Has your govt changed their officials cars to the ones produced in Nigeria . keep decieving yourself. you live in a fantasy world; I was commenting on your ideas about railways; maybe you expect the federal government to built electric sped trains; can average Nigerians pay for the service; you don't just imitate your neighbors.... |

moh1: DON'T BE FOOLED BY "BOKO HARAM", O YE NIGERIANS! By Sharon Faliya Cham
"All of a sudden the news that the Nigerian military at the Aminu Kano International Airport has intercepted a Russian aircraft loaded with helicopters and arms bound for the Republic of Chad has gone viral as such news always do, more especially as Chad has come under scrutiny over her suspected role in aiding and abetting "Boko Haram". But kindly pause, think and ask yourselves some questions:
* Does Chad, which is just a close neighbour to Nigeria, have her own airports or not?
* Considering the short distance between Nigeria and Chad, will it be necessary for any aircraft from Russia and headed to Chad to stop over in Nigeria before heading to Chad?
* If the arms and helicopters loaded in that aircraft are meant for "Boko Haram", then will it be necessary for the deadly cargo to reach Chad first before they are brought back to Nigeria for "Boko Haram" to use?
* What if the weapons were not actually ordered by the Republic of Chad?
* And even if the weapons were ordered by the Republic of Chad and were meant for "Boko Haram" in Nigeria, what could have been the wisdom of the Chadian government routing the flight to Kano considering that they know such an aircraft must be searched?
My suspicion:
Everybody in Nigeria, including even little children, is accusing the Nigerian government as the sponsor of "Boko Haram" for political gains and for the splitting of the country as desired by Ijaws like Asari Dokubo, and the federal government is aware of this suspicion, which made VP Namadi Sambo to issue a half-hearted denial the other day in Kano.
This so called arrest of a Russian plane loaded with arms in Kano might as well be a trick to divert public attention from the real suspects, and here are my reasons:
1. I firmly believe that Chad is deeply involved in "Boko Haram"
2. One of the named sponsors of "Boko Haram", Ali Modu Shariff, runs a thriving oil business in Chad and is a close associate of both the Nigerian and Chadian presidents
3. The Nigerian president and his security agencies are known to be protecting Ali Modu Shariff more than any state governor in Nigeria
4. The Nigerian president along with Ali Modu Shariff are known to have travelled to Chad several times to meet with the Chadian president, and none of such meetings has helped in any little way to curb the destructive activities of "Boko Haram" in northern Nigeria
Therefore, even if Chad is the one sponsoring "Boko Haram", how were they able to move in armour tanks, helicopters, AA rifles, RPGS, and so many military trucks into Nigeria for the terrorists without our own security forces and their intelligence agencies busting them?
And assuming Nigeria was sleeping all the time so much that Chad moved in such large number of arms, equipment and fighters, is Chad also responsible for commanding our own military forces to allow "Boko Haram" to be moving in long convoys from one spot to another freely just like that?
Also, can anyone plausibly blame Chad for Nigeria's blatant refusal to destroy "Boko Haram" camps in the deserts of northern Nigeria?
Since 2012 till date, I have never been proved wrong on my claims and assertions on this fraudulent "Boko Haram"!
It still remains that some people want northern Nigeria expelled from Nigeria, and they call it "The Orkar Solution" to what they think as the country's problems.
Anyone of you that can access any good library should look for the DAILY TRUST newspaper of Thursday, October 28, 2010, and on page 50 you will see a publication of a plot revealed by a patriotic Ijaw on how his people want to compromise this country's security, and particularly to completely disenfranchise the north, and the plot was titled "The Orkar Solution"!
EVERYTHING happening in Nigeria now is in tandem with that publication.
Chad is just being used as a means, and their compensation may be to annex the expelled region of Nigeria - the so called Caliphate of their thug called Abubakar Shekau. see you and your half baked conspiracy theory.... Shame |

chimaobikanu: One question keep popping....."For us or against us" ??
A Russian airplane intercepted by Nigerian authorities Saturday on its way to neighbouring Chad, was transporting a large cache of AK47s and bullet proof vests, and other items, the News Agency of Nigeria has reported. Security operatives at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano, on Saturday seized the plane which landed at the airport at about 2a.m. as a result of technical problems. Crew members of the airplane have been detained while investigations are ongoing, NAN quoted a source as saying. “Security has since been beefed up at the airport in order to ensure proper investigation,” the source said. The general manager of communication, Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, Yakubu Datti, confirmed the seizure of the plane. He said the pilot sought permission to land at the airport after the plane developed problems. “The plane had a technical problem and the pilot sought (for) permission to land at the airport’’, he said. Mr. Datti said security agencies had since commenced investigation into the matter. Security sources told PREMIUM TIMES the plane was travelling to N’djamena, the capital of Chad. A spokesperson for the Nigerian military, Chris Olukolade, could not be reached on Saturday for comments. The spokesman of the Joint Military Task Force in Kano, Col. Eze, did not also respond to telephone calls. The Police spokesperson in Kano, Magaji Majiya, said details of the arrest could only be provided by the airport security. This is the third time since 2009 that a Russian plane loaded with arms would be arrested in Kano. The detained planes were later released after investigations. The destination of the latest aircraft has however raised concerns amid increasing worries in Nigeria over Chad’s alleged role in the Boko Haram insurgency plaguing Nigeria’s northeast.

First, while the Ferguson, Missouri P.D is mostly white, the existence of even 1 black officer invalidates your statement. In this case, there are 3 blacks out of 53 total officers, so yes, "All white" does not represent the reality.
As far as them being worse than Nazis, i'll just assume you do not know about Nazis. Not "neo-Nazis" of today, but Nazis of WWII.
The Russians (then USSR) made a non-Agression pact with Nazi Germany back then, and ONLY fought back Germany two years later because Hitler was a snake, who turned around to invade Soviet territory even after the pact.
The point is, Russia shares very basic ideologies with the then Nazi Germany, and nations like North Korea of today.
These are NOT nations Nigeria should be schmoozing up to. so what should we do? Keep begging with our money? The best Nigeria will do is to sign a 10yrs pact with Russia and China and start up a Nuclear tie with Pakistan; Iran Na North Korea; our allies will help us look out for Us and other NATO countries who will try to meddle into our business... If we have a nuclear warhead installed no country will dare meddle into our affair including United States cos if they do; even if we can launch our warhead into their territories we can launch thousands of them into their allies' territory in Europe and Asia.... |

Sweetlemon: I just watched a hilarious edition of EL R8D on ebony life TV courtesy of EmmaohmyGod and Chigurl. There's this bitter after taste in my mouth because I realized that their sense of humour will most likely die a mysterious death when they become A-list stars. Why are our comedians like this?
I attended a wedding where Bovi was the MC. This was before he became popular. My goodness! We almost died of laughter! He presented us oven fresh jokes in the most unique manner. In fact, he was just something else. He soon became popular and even though he's still funny, (in fact, he's the only A-list star comedian that is still funny, and maybe AY) I have not enjoyed him the way I enjoyed before he became famous.
I have attended weddings/events with AY and basket mouth as MCs and I don't remember laughing even once. Maybe a smile here and there but no full blown laughter. AY is only funny in his shows, outside that, he's just there. But you won't believe it's the same guys that nearly cracked you to death during their hustling days. Even Julius Agwu is nothing to write home about at events. All they do now is charge outrageous fees just to show us their designer suits. Huh? Smh.
American comedians like Kevin Hart, Arsenio Hall, Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, Robin Williams (RIP) still make us laugh hysterically. So why are our stars forming like this? Could it be the psychological effect of too must hustling? Whatever, someone should tell these guys that this really not a good way of going international. sams thing with our super eagles |

omonuan: Don't be so sure. Before you know it, the army and the air force will just abscond and Boko haram will capture the fighter jets and use them to bomb Lagos and Abuja. I have lost confidence in the army that can't confront boko haram. It took hunters including women with Dane guns and bow and arrow to defeat boko haram in one of the battles.
Nigerian army claim they are ill equipped but the arms used by boko haram to run rough shod over them are captured from them. All we'll hear soon is that a Moslem pilot just left Yola airport and landed in Sambissa forest. BBC will show a picture of the pilot cavorting with Shekau and pledging allegiance to the Caliphate. Then we will all be screwed. America knew this and this is why they wouldn't sell fighter jets and helicopters to the Nigerian military. ; slowpoke |
