Waowww.

See educated and sophisticated people everywia. grin

Nice one. I admire y'all, but (un)for**********, I can't be like you people, as a tradwife-in-transition that I am- Nigeria be damned [on a second thought, PO will be the president then].

I want nothing short of a Royal-like Family. NOT even a Football family.

Something where, like, you know, you'll be like; 'kid 2, go get your sister kid 6 for me, and make sure y'all come together with your brother 13, 12 and 16, and junior sisters 19, 15, and 8. Oh, and bring along your toddler twin sisters 7 and 5. Has kid 18 fed kid 14 already? Omg, I told him to do so. And where is kid 20, fgs? He ought to go with kid 10, 1, 5 and 9 to take their measurements at the tailor for twins 6 and 3 birthday bash, ugh!'

Abi PlayMaker14, watin you think? You nor see say e make sense? cheesy

FamilyRe: Why Do I Keep Dreaming About My Secondary School Life by Leoniine(f): 10:11am On Jan 31, 2023
I don't know about you, but I used to have same dreams too and I've found out that it meant nothing.

It was scary and I became worried, although I didn't really take it seriously 'cause I am not 'that' superstitious.

My dreams were even about my primary school days and my childhood friends. Many years after I've graduated from secondary school. I don't know when it stopped sha; I just recently realised that I now dream about my university and coursemates and lecturers.

My theory is; it's a time transitory thing. cheesy

You're probably dreaming about that time because it was a huge part of your life that you lived. After a while, you'll "move" on to dreaming about others subsequent events in your life.

I am fine and okay, and doing well. Infact, been having many positive things happening to me in the past year and in this one. So I am good.

I would say you shouldn't worry too much. It's just your brain's 'hyperactivity', as it should be.

you are not being fair, so his brother telling her he will be sending her on errands anyhow is okay to you, isn’t the brother trying to belittle her, she’s a wife not nanny, she deserve that respect

The brother don’t have that right to send her errands as he desire irrespective of he is older than her or he established the husband, if the man wants someone he can send errands he should go and marry his own wife, not his brother’s, that’s disrespect to even the so called elder brother
Na you dey type this thing so? 😯

You don find love? 😂

Urchins love to claim how 'smart' and knowledgeable Tinupoo is in political games, but na everytime he dey mention Obi's name, giving him publicity.

Meanwhile, even as Obi has CIVILLY attacked the other candidates, not for once has he called their names, yet we know he's referring to them.

So watin be this wey Tinubu dey do? Political creativity in za mud, LMAO.

No wonder Olusegun Ronaldinho Obasanjo endorsed a Healthy player called Lionel Peter Obi to take over from him unlike one injury prone disabled player from Iragbiji Football Club.

Imagine if we have the dementia Injury prone player popularly called Bulaba in Team Nigeria, we would be flying him abroad for treatment everyday, wasting tax payers money.

Vote Wisely.

FamilyRe: Why Are Charity Donations For Widows And Never For Widowers? by Leoniine(f):
bizme:
Summary: Society expects a man to be a provider, and the woman to be in need of being provided for. Very interesting explanation from you, even though this doesn't exactly fit into the feminism-driven society that some are hustling to perpetuate.
Really? How does this not fit into a feminism-driven perspective?

That's one of the basis of the society feminists criticize (man providing for a woman who needs provision).

Should that reality not point to the fact of our society still being largely traditional than egalitarian like some would have us believe?

There are so many social roles and ideas (e.g., economic freedom on a woman's part) that ties into all of this - considering the submission of the person you quoted.

LINTUNE:
i never said they dont take responsibilities, i simply said society was design such that, even if women are not responsible in terms of finace and all that, its no big deal, but when women are a bit responsible, its a very big deal..whereas in men, it is seen as a norm, if a man is 10 times more responsible than an average responsible woman, society will still accord more respect to the woman, cos to them, women being responsible is like "bonus" unlike men where such attribute is mandatory..
...this is confusing as heck and doesn't make any sense, sorry. you're just mixing things up. you said society doesn't pressure women into taking responsibilities and i gave you examples of societies and communities that are set up in a way that women work and take responsibilities. it is not a big deal for these women to work. they are expected to. it is seen as a norm.

now you're adding more.

whether it is seen as a bonus or not, people expect women to work. and they are/can be pressured into it.

a weathly woman, marries a wealthy man, during divorce, the same wealthy woman will take half of the man's net worth....a wealthy man can marry an impoverish woman, and change her financial status for good, society wont say shit, can we say the same if it was vice versa?..madam lets be factual here, leave sentiments and emotions aside..
...your claim was women do not take responsibilities and the society doesn't pressure them to. do not go off on something else entirely as i have no energy for this...

how does this situation relate to what you initially said?

...say what? from where? who told you this? do you want instances? AA women heading their homes? indigenous women in Asia who actually work on the fields, doing hard labour? division of labour in tribal African societies? even 21st century women are working and building brands. because, economy and starvation and the desire for success. mtcheeew.

Patriarchy001:
A picture they say, speaks a thousand words...

Women are not happy because they've traded in their youth and fertility to compete with men in the workplace, thus subjecting themselves to a more stressful and lonely life...
...but, duud, there are countless of women out there from all walks of life—feminist or no feminist—who are slaying in their careers and at home. what will you say about them?

and bear in mind that a home isn't necessarily one with kids, depending on personal choices. who made you the judge over others' decisions and to say what'll make them happy or not?

there is not a clear-cut, single reason cited for "declining female happiness" worldwide - so you can only make conjectures at best as to why that is so. that doesn't even relate with your post...

...stunts, accidents while filming dangerous scenes, staying in adverse locations and so on.

that's what i meant. although, no one can predict where it'll happen, how or what exactly will lead to a death happening during a shoot -- at the end of the day, i don't own him and if it's something he's passionate about, i'll heartily support him. living in fear over that possibility... just... isn't it.
