I was coming from work I think around 2 am, I got stopped by a police. Answered every question's they asked; They end up giving a lift.
I don't know if you've ever been to the U.S coz you'd have known racism exist there more than in the UK. Britain is one of the least racial tolerance in the world I think second to Canada.

I've never encountered racist attack here and the locals are very accommodating. Thing is, Africans would always play racism cards no matter if it's unwarranted. One might be walking on the way and the police might just stop them to ask security questions, and Africans will say they're victimised. But even the native Brits are randomly stopped too.

I think it's a complex issue. Drive carelessly and get stop by the police they'd say it's cos of their skin colour. True some are influenced by racial hate but we complain about everything. Just like we employ tribalism and religious bigotry in Nigeria we think Westerners are same.
It's your life ,no one should tell you how to live your life.Your life first and everything follows. Just be 100% sure that's what you want to do. Do you love her or lusting after her? I won't say you should leave your wife, but you need to find a way of managing it. I was once in that situation you .
Don't get carried away with the sex. I know that sex outside marriage can be sweeter;but your wife is your wife.

quote author=mysweetnina post=35217949]Nairalanders, I need mature and real people opinion here.

I am a banker, 32, married with two kids, boy and girl. My wife works with a MDA in abuja while I work out from Nassarawa. I rented a 2 bedroom flat for them in Lugbe, abuja while i visit every weekend. I love her and love the kids however I notice we dont agree on a lot of things, mostly financial matters. she prefer i spend all on her and her kids and whenevr i am broke, she will gladly lend me cash. I dont ve ish with that and i ve been enjoying it for years now. I cheat on her but i dont see it as cheating but rather caring for my emotional needs. I have talked her into coming to stay in lafia with me before but i noticed she is very comfortable with her job and i dont want to be the reason for career truncation/ dissatisfaction in her life.

i decide to live my life in my own way; strategically sleeping with other ladies as need be. recently, i asked my colleague out. a lady banker, same level. for 3 months now, we have been hot and i can no longer touch or tolerate my wife. my colleague recently took in for me but we took care of it. i am scared as she is madly in love with me and she is available. I am also madly in love with her. i am choosing her over my wife right now. how can I solve this.

Guys I love her, dont tell me to leave her. we enjoy sex together in a way I dont with my wife. Just give your honest opinion to help those that may find themselves in my place someday.

Thank u.
Smoking of any Stuff that produces smokes from your mouth and noses is dangerous to your health. It is like taking a knife to kill yourself. It is suicide. Suicide is a Capital Sin before God. It is also like smoking bokoharams and suicide bombers into your country to kill yourself and your people. It is suicide, a sin and murder also a sin, double sins. May God help you.
..
Young man , do you know must of the food we eat is a killer to the body, does that make it a sin or suicide.. taking care of your body is your responsibility , God doesn't give a shit.

Christianity EtcRe: Did God Create People Before Adam And Eve? by levos2007(m): 6:35pm On Sep 12, 2013
Na your eye, cos u dey there

Goshen360: There's no confusion with God but with men. You have to STUDY with understanding. Genesis have two creation record. One was in a bullet form kind of and the other in "how" it was done form kind of. God created ONLY ONE MAN - Eve in ADAM and so, God didn't have to create Eve again but only took her OUT FROM Adam. If they were many God created, why don't God or Adam find Eve from other women?

There is a man I know in the flesh on this forum that teach such heretic teachings that God created many people not only Adam. Such is NOT right! If God created many people, then who sinned first that we all have to be made sinner because the whole nation was IN that ONE MAN?
TravelRe: Many Nigerians Living In Nigeria Hate Nigerians In Diaspora, Jealous Much? by levos2007(m): 5:17pm On Aug 27, 2013
what is patriotism? what is expected of a patriot ? And what are the charactertics of a patriot? (These question is for people saying they love Nigeria)
OP shouldn't have use the word "jealous" But people should get it right, she wasn't talking about financial aspect rather than standard of living.
But sometimes it amazes me how disorganize we are as a country; a smooth nice road is not space mission, is just a road(unforunate we can do it), stable power , water, internal security , i don't think Nigeria as any international threats, well , one day i will come home and do my part(even though i was slapped by men in uniform last year when i went home)....... May thy lord curse whosoever stealing, infliating, polluting, corrupt that land, and also Thy lord we bless people trying to put things right

Who cares, once u can communicate with people without asking u to repeat your self.its only my wife and friends that i mingle with evereyday that understands my Nigeria accent(that doesnt mean i not proud to be a Nigerian) without asking me to repeat my self.... so fucking annoying, "can u come again pls"

braveheart2012: This particular issue annoys the heck out of me. Why do Nigerians assume every Nigerian with a British or US accent is faking it? It's just bloody ignorance. I don't doubt that some Nigerians acquire fake "accents" after a two-week vacation abroad. However, many Nigerians that school, work and live abroad acquire new speech patterns after a few years.

I was born and raised in Nigeria (and I speak perfect, fluent Yoruba) but I have been abroad for more than a decade. These days I have to fake it to sound "Nigerian" when I am speaking English with my Nigerian friends. Unfortunately, I don't hang out with Nigerians often (and I rarely watch or listen to Nigerian media); when I am not with Nigerians (i.e. about 95% of the time), I use my normal Americanized accent. My normal speech patterns have changed so much that I now switch to Yoruba when talking on the phone with my parents or family back home just to avoid coming across as fake/arrogant. My American accent isn't fake, it's just how my speech patterns have evolved after spending more than a decade abroad. All my 100% Naija friends that have been in the US for as long as I have also speak the same way. If you move abroad before the age of 25, your accent will change dramatically after a few years of intense interactions with your host culture. There is nothing fake about that.

PS - It's truly ironic that most Americans don't think I have an American accent at all but Nigerians and other non-Americans think my accent is American. My accent is a mix of British + Nigerian + American. I don't care if it's a mixture of 10 accents... as long as can communicate clearly and effectively.
TravelRe: Nigerians And Fake Accent by levos2007(m): 12:09am On Jun 30, 2013
its annoying! it can even help in getting a job

A_K_O: TheBeat FM doesn't seem to get this. They have a penchant for OAP's that sound a certain way. One or two people with an accent is okay but when much of your line-up sounds a certain way, it's clear there is an editorial policy that says foreign-sounding = better. It's a revolting, post-colonial policy.

That (rant) being said, living abroad can change the way you speak, and then people misjudge it as a fake accent. It must be frustrating to speak in your Naija accent and have to always repeat yourself because people don't understand.
