An update on this scam I thought my daughter did not fall for........... 🤣😂


She actually fell for the scam, she transferred £2300.00 to the scammers, when they requested more money, was when she decided to seek counsel from her father.......

I received 2 letters from Santander (addressed to my daughter), I did not want to open them, but my wife insisted we did.........

The first letter referred to a £2300 claim (my heart stopped), my wife and I spent about 5 minutes screaming at ourselves (daughter is currently at university). After we finished screaming, I opened the second letter........

The 2nd letter stated funds have been successfully recovered from the scammers JP Morgan chase account...... We called my daughter, did the calm talking, screaming and investigating how she managed to fall for this scam etc etc etc.........

NB : Lesson from this scam - : I am withdrawing all big deposits from all my children's account (I no fit shout)........ 😜🤣😭😂

Good day everyone!! I am emotionally shattered as I type this message. I have been suspecting my wife for years now but no concrete evidence to confront her.

There is a boss of my mine who happens to be our family friend. Each time he calls my wife, she deletes the call history immediately. This has been happening for years but I keep quite because i love my wife and my children so much.

Of recent, i decided to know what is happening by hacking her call with him. Lo and behold, they are into deep relationship that my wife calls him baby. Infact, sleep has gone out of my eyes and am thinking of how to deal with the situation.

It should be noted that i am not working under the man in question only that we are church members and he has rendered countless of help to me. I am wondering what puts my wife into this mess. I am graduate but i decided not to work for anybody but to focus on my farming. I am doing well financially bcs i can boost of 500k or more every month. We are not lacking anything at all.

Please house ignore my typo and help with good advice.

Note: i dnt want to divorce my wife and am ready to forgive her bcs she has been of great help to my success and moreover, i love my family very well. What should i do to stop them?

Start by conducting a DNA on your children, this would determine if you are willing to forgive her or not...........

This COS been a total shambles...... Destroyed many people's hopes and expectations (caused by the greed of Nigerian's)....... Why are we made like this....... We step into something, until we destroy it, our eyes no dey ever clear.........

NB : I know other countries might have also abused the process, but we seem to be the baba of them all........ 😊

Absolutely, but all this comes with additional cost...... It's totally dependent on what the total value of debt......

I definitely agree there needs to be more resources to fight serious crime.

However, within the context of my previous post, lending your friend/family/acquaintance money and them not paying back is hardly the type of "crime" you'd expect the authorities to spend time on.

Small claims court is usually the place to go....... But if they have no money to pay, it would simply be a "moral victory" .......

But if they got a property, you can charge the debt to their asset (this process would make them pay up).......

I generally have one rule........ I would only spare money to my close family circle (my only rule).......

I would buy a new bed and pack their broken bed for them till I move out.

Public service announcement for all of us here: The UK is a jungle now. Don't lend money to anyone, doublelock your doors, basically be on your guard like in Nigeria.

Sorry if this is pessimistic but this is the way I see the UK now. Does anyone have a sunnier view of things

I'm from Lagos state, I know so many people in high places in the Govt of Lagos from my very hometown from very poor background.

I know perm secs, PAs, directors, and commissioners that I went to school with in my town that are now in the govt. Almost all didn't come from a life of privilege.

I believe then the issue is wanting flyer to provide the card used in payment and all that. Is this still a thing? Anyone travelled recently with their partners paying for flight without those show us card issue ( same last name but different card full name)

Either buy with a travel agent(not directly with airlines) or provide the card/copy of the card + credit card statements ........

Coupled with flight ticket for whole family ain’t cheap for the short term planning, they considering wife stays and put to bed before leaving as well.

But that aside, the main reason is if they can still get an offer before the date

They have to consider date of EDD vs breaching (then having to be slapped with an £8000 NHS bill (assuming no major complications)........

They should work on another route if possible (ASAP)... To avoid further complications....
