Gurus in the house, is there anyone familiar with Presco? While looking through their fantastic 3Q numbers, I noticed their borrowings increased by about N7B during the quarter i.e. N15.1B vs. N7.9B. Just wondering why they will be doubling their loan burden when they are generating so much cash. Also the cash on hand at the end of the period is N15B |

Don’t worry Alhaji will do share buybacks samguru: at the current Q3 EPS, Dangote Sugar should be selling below #12.
Alhaji must bribe us with special dividend and bonus, if he wants us to help him keep the price at circa #17 |

giselle237: cancel the application. And ask for a refund. Then go on to fill a new application, pay a new visa fee to include 10 fays quarantine and then your holiday time. Your money will be refunded within 28 days Thanks a lot for your response |

Guys,
I just filled my application and indicated 10 days as duration of trip. Didn’t realize one has to quarantine for 10 days on arrival. What options do I have since I have made payment? Also, is there an email address for visa enquiries?
Will appreciate your comments |

Please can one of the gurus explain below excerpt from Lafarge’s annual report to me. What is the expected total proceeds? Is the $8.2M quoted the net proceeds after deducting the items listed or is it the gross proceeds? Thanks On January 20, 2021, the board of Lafarge Africa approved the disposal of the company's investment in Continental Blue Investment (CBI) Ghana Ltd to a third party F. Scott AG. The proceeds that Lafarge Africa will realize from the transaction amounts to US$ 8.2 million after repayment of a loan granted by Lafarge Africa Plc to CBI Ghana (US$ 5.8 million), settlement of earn-out obligation by Lafarge Africa Plc (US$ 3.6 million) and Payment for the Lafarge Africa Plc's shares by F. Scott AG (US$ 6 million). The parties have agreed to close the transaction no later than June 30 2021. yMcy56: E Ku Market o. E Ku Wapco result. Just say make I greet Una.
Make I put small mouth for the matter. In my opinion, Wapco might not witness massive dumping as may be expected considering the industry it belongs, investing into the future of the coy and the kind of leniency some stocks enjoy from Investors.
Take for instance the Brewery Sector, FGN policies were hard on them and investors kind of have understanding of this, thus they're not been punished as expected. Check out market response to NB, Intbrew, Champion's results.
Someone mentioned selling Guinness, maybe you just have to sell some and leave some, to see how the stock fairs, especially based on info/rumour posted here by Samguru. What if it eventually turns out to be true? Just saying anyway. I may be wrong. Do your DD. |

It will be interesting to know what is driving the higher technical fees. How will the merger with ready mix drive an increase in technical fees without corresponding increase in revenue. Usually technical fees are a percentage of revenue. The 3Q result was poor in my opinion, the quarter EPS dropped significantly compared to the earlier quarters in the year. BTW, really appreciate the depth and quality of your analysis. Maximum respect bro! onegentleguy: There was a merger with one of its arm, Larfarge ready mix, which I think, might have something to do with that. Great result, but there's need for management to improve more on certain profitability and efficiency lines. ...will score them a 7 on a scale of 1 to 10.

Mercy, Thanks for sharing your insights. What do you think is holding Zenith back? Mcy56: GTB: 26 now................seems the holdco will have positive and not negative effect on the stock. The accumulation and resilience of the stock around this time is positive. With renewed interest and Stanbic staying in the 40 region, GTB will close the gap small. Think I've said this before...........based on observation of market situation....... Pls, this is just my opinion. |

I suspect Guinness will do same, it is possible that forex restrictions affecting repatriations is making parent companies to increase shareholding because that may be their best use of Naira especially because of the low valuations. Mcy56: I noticed......there were quite a lot of cross deals on the stock, think I even mentioned it here..........buy not aware Heineken was the buyer. Maybe they're taking up some % in the coy or just increasing their stake, making good use of the low price opportunity. |
