The police in Lagos have arrested a 24-year old man, one Ayo Yusuf, who allegedly specialised in forcefully having sex with ladies by the road side after threatening them.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the suspect was arrested after he accosted a lady by the road side at Admiralty Way in Lekki area of Lagos, forced her to a corner armed with cutlass and had carnal knowledge of her.


However, by the time he was done with the act and was escaping police operatives accosted and arrested him with the victim who informed the police about what happened.

Police sources said that the victim was returning from work in the evening before she was ambushed. The suspect was said to have pointed a cutlass at her and dragged her to a corner. She was reportedly forced to remove her pant and bend down before he penetrated her. She was said to be helpless because Yusuf was in the company of another suspect who also had a weapon which was what made her to comply in order to save her life.

It was gathered that FSARS operatives who had known the place as a black spot noticed what was happening and moved in that direction where they met the suspect. He was arrested and detained at the Police Command for interrogation.

During interrogation, the suspect, Yusuf, told the police that he was not an armed robber but that he used the cutlass found on him to harass and obtain sex from ladies at night.

The police found him culpable and charged him before the Ogba Magistrates court for armed robbery and rape.

He pleaded not guilty. The prosecutor, Mr. Christopher John, informed the court that it was a case of armed robbery because the police recovered two cutlasses as exhibits which he used to threaten victims into submission.

However, the Presiding Magistrate, Mr. Peter Nwaka, granted Yusuf bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum.

A 35-year-old woman was hospitalized after she was beaten up by a 57-year-old woman in Igando, Lagos.
Mrs Sherifat Jimoh, 57, and Mrs. Titilayo Akapo, 35, who are neighbours at Osunba in Igando, got into a fight which was reportedly started after the younger woman insulted the elderly woman. During the fight, Mrs Jimoh surprised everyone as she overpowered her younger adversary and beat her to a pulp.

Mrs Akapo was rushed to the hospital as she sustained serious injuries, while Mrs Jimoh was arrested by the police at Igando Division and charged before the Ejigbo Magistrates court.
Mrs Jimoh pleaded not guilty and the Presiding Magistrate, Mr. L.K.J. Layeni, granted her bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum.
She was remanded in prison custody pending when she will perfect her bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till September 5, 2018.

Several members of the Biafra Zionists Federation, BZF, were early Monday morning reportedly arrested in Enugu.

The pro-Biafra agitators were nabbed alongside their self-acclaimed leader, Barr. Benjamin Onwuka.

A combined team of security operatives made up of the Department of State Services, DSS, and the Nigeria Police were said to have been involved in the operation.


It was learnt that they were arrested after another failed attempt to enter the Enugu Government House for the inauguration of Biafra.

A source hinted that they had marched from the Presidential Road, through Rangers Avenue, but were stopped at the Bissala Road entry to the Government House by security operatives.

Deputy Leader of the group, Mazi Ambrose Ugwu, who confirmed the arrest to journalists, said, “our people were prevented from entering the Enugu Government House, after which they were arrested and taken away.


“I learnt they were arrested by men of the DSS and the police.

“Right now, I don’t know how many of them that were arrested; I also don’t know where they took them to,” Ugwu said.

We recalls that the Enugu State Police Command had on Sunday warned the Zionists not to get close the Enugu Government House as they would be made to face the law squarely.

Onwuka had also on May 30 made a similar attempt, leading to his arrest and remand in prison. But 24 hours after his release, he announced August 20 as new date for his Biafra inauguration, claiming that the United States and Israel were behind him.

Both the Police and the DSS are yet to issue official statements on the reported arrest.

The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Enugu Police Command, SP Ebere Amaraizu, when contacted, said he should be given some time.

However, it was reported that armoured personnel carriers and security operatives were still stationed within the roads leading to the Enugu Government House as of the time of filing this report.

Report has it that some female members of the Independent People of Biafra (IPOB), have been rushed to the hospital during their arraignment today at the Owerri Magistrate court, Imo state. 

It was disclosed that few moments after the women arrived the court premises, one of them collapsed and was resuscitated by her colleagues who poured water on her. 

Another woman who is said to be pregnant, was also rushed to the hospital in a police vehicle during the arraignment. 

The women were arrested on 17th Of August 2018, during a protest in Owerri, the Imo State capital, while demanding the whereabouts of the missing IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kalu and a referendum for an Independent state of Biafra by the Federal Government.

The police in Lagos state have arrested 29 year old Taiwo Akinola pictured above for trying to kill his mother, Alice Akinola so as to further his cyber fraud business ( yahoo.com) to the bloody or ritual level (yahoo plus).

A statement by the police command spokesperson, CSP Chike Oti, says Taiwo who lives with his mother at No.2 Raji Ajanaku street, Alaja Road, Ayobo, Lagos, is a staunch member of the notorious Aiye confraternity.

At about 8am yesterday Sunday August 19th, Taiwo went to his mother's provision store in front of their apartment and told her to meet him inside the house for an important discussion and at same time sent his nephew, Faruk to go buy him a white handkerchief and a stick of cigarette.



As soon as his mother entered the house, the suspect attacked her, smashing her head with a plank, pressing iron and a UPS charger to ensure she didn't survive the ferocious attack.

When Faruk returned from the errand, he didn't see his grandmother in the shop so he went into the house only to see the poor woman lying in a pool of blood. Shocked by what he saw, the small boy raised the alarm which attracted neighbours to the scene.



They called the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Ayobo Division who arrived the scene with his team and promptly arrested the suspect and secured the scene for further investigation by the police forensic experts attached to the Homicide section SCIID Panti, Yaba .

The victim was rushed to an undisclosed hospital for treatment and was found to be hanging onto life. Right now, the doctors are battling to revive Mrs Alice Akinola presently unconscious Meanwhile the CP has paid the initial hospital cost which enabled the doctors to commence treatment.

During a brief interrogation, the suspect disclosed that he was asked to kill his mother in order to have more money. When his room was searched, the following exhibits were recovered in it, viz:

1. Two calabashes with one containing human skull and the other, a mixture of dark concoction;
2. A plank perforated with nails and stained with blood;
3. A pressing iron stained with blood;
4. A white handkerchief with which he wanted to scoop the victim's blood;
5. A bottle containing oil and labelled Back To Sender;

The Commissioner of Police calls on Lagosians to rise against all forms of crime and criminality. He added that the Command defeated the Badoo cult group with the help of people who provided credible and timely information to the police . He added that the time has come to root out the street cult groups. He notes that complacency is not an option in the face of threat to peace and security posed by these nefarious associations.

The  National Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) Comrade Adams Oshiomhole met with Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, while attending the 6th Congress of the Ruling Party, the AK Party in Ankara, Turkey. The APC chairman was accompanied to the congress with the National Organising Secretary Barr. Emma Ibediro. 

Fifty-two heads of state were invited to the congress of Turkey’s ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party which was held on Saturday, August 18th. 

The AK Party normally holds its grand congresses once every three years. The last was in September 2015.

In May 2017, the AK Party held an extraordinary congress following the historic approval of a raft of constitutional changes that April.

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has alleged the arrest of an undisclosed number of female members of the group in Owerri, Imo State on Sunday morning.


The group said the women were arrested when they staged a peaceful protest to demand the release of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

IPOB, in a press release made available to correspondent in Awka by the media and publicity secretary, Emma Powerful, demanded the immediate release of the women, whom they said have been taken to Etche local government in Rivers State.


Part of the release read, “We condemn the sacrilegious arrest, illegal detention and barbaric torture of grandmothers arrested and held in military custody by Nigerian soldiers and police under the most appalling conditions.

“It is unheard of anywhere in the world that old women, some of them grandmothers, were arrested by army or police, teargassed, locked-up and tortured for exercising their constitutionally guaranteed right to peaceful assembly.”

The group said Igboland was not a conquered territory, but the activities of security agents were portraying the area as a conquered territory.


It condemned the Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha for standing aloof and letting such treatment to be meted to women from his state.

“The intention of the government is to intimidate and humiliate our people, women and the elderly. The abduction of grandmothers, some of them in their late 70s, is the worst kind of abomination. It is an invitation to anarchy because if by the close of business on Monday August 20, 2018, IPOB will call for a civil uprising against the oppressors and their agents in Ohaneze Ndigbo and government houses across Biafraland.

“This level of desecration and sacrilege will not happen in Arewa North neither will it be condoned in Yorubaland. It is happening in Biafraland because those that parade themselves as leaders (SE governors and Ohaneze) are cowards, appointed by the caliphate to act as their agents.

“When Fulani terrorist herdsmen rape our mothers in the farms, destroy our crops and means of livelihood, you don’t see any army or police rushing to protect them. No Fulani terror herdsmen has ever been arrested by the Nigerian army or police.

“But the same long suffering mothers, with nobody to protect them, are the ones being arrested, detained and tortured for exercising a constitutionally guaranteed right,” Powerful said.

The group listed “Igbo conspirators” who have allegedly been masterminding the arrest of its members to include: Igbo governors, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, and demanded that they be held responsible if any harm befalls the women.

The recent controversy surrounding the Forgery of WAEC certificates of some government officials has been creating a lot of mixed feelings and outrage among the Nigerian populace but recent developments around one of the scandals involving the Senior special assistant to the President on recovery of Public Property, Chief Okoi Obono Obla has cast a big shadow on the validity of these reports.

Obono-Obla has been making huge progress in his investigations into the illegal acquisition of Public Property (He was responsible for discovering DSP Ike Ekweremadu's vast array of properties in nigeria and Abroad). The certificate scandal came up shortly after he started investigating some key figures in the House of Representatives.

Obla was warned and even threatened to stop digging. They resorted to blackmail and using their proxies in the media to kick-start the scandal.

I decided to investigate thing for my self. Obono-Obla's WAEC reg number is 09403247. He graduated from Mary Knoll college in Ogoja, Cross river state in 1982 and Sat for his WAEC examinations. He passed 5 subject, English, English literature, Economics, government and Bible Knowledge (4 credits and 1 distinction). He was issued a statement of result by Mary Knoll bearing the accurate WAEC result and he used the same WAEC result to gain admission into the University of Jos.

Obla, from my investigations, graduated from UNIJOS, entered law school, passed and was called to Bar. He has been practising law for 34 years. All of a sudden when he becomes an SSA to the president on Recovery of public property, a Job that involves him looking into the dirty activities and past of very crooked politicians, all of a sudden, he has a 'FAKE' Waec certificate?

As fate would have, I logged into the WAEC portal to see for my self, (SCREENSHOT BELOW), The result i saw on the portal corresponds with Obla's confessions.

It seems WAEC failed to alter the online version of the result. I quickly took a screenshot before they alter it..see it below;

The acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo says President Muhammadu Buhari has been growing the Nigerian economy in spite of difficulties in the country.


He said this at Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom, on Wednesday, August 8 during the official defection of former Senate Minority Leader, Sen. Godswill Akpabio from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).


Represented by the Secretary to the Federal Government, Mr Boss Mustapha, the acting President, who described Akpabio’s action as “uncommon defection”, said that the Federal Government under the leadership of Buhari had provided jobs to teeming youths through the N-Power programme in the last three years.



He added that “the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidates put together would not defeat Buhari in 2019 general election.”
He urged the people of Akwa Ibom to have faith in the Federal Government and assured them that things would improve soon.
He said “I came to thank Akwa Ibom people for their remarkable show of solidarity. I came to tell you that the Government of President Muhammadu Buhari loves the people of Akwa Ibom.


“I want to put on record that the entire South South has been taken over by APC-led government. I can assure you that the hearts of the President, the acting President are with you.”
The Senate Leader, Sen. Ahmed Lawan, who was in Ikot Ekpene with over 30 senators, said that the defection of Akpabio to APC had stirred the PDP to foundation, describing it as “more than the 14 senators who defected from APC to PDP last two weeks.”


He described the former Minority Leader as a nationalist who believed in the nation and the administration of President Buhari.
Lawan said “the declaration of one and only senator in the history has stirred Akwa Ibom and indeed Nigeria.
“This defection has swallowed all previous defections. From this moment, Akpabio is our member. He always consider national interest first and believes in united Nigeria.”


The National Chairman of APC, Adams Oshiomhole, commended Akpabio “for doing what Senate President, Bukola Saraki, could not do by resigning his position.
Oshiomhole said that “with a senator like Akpabio, the party was sure to capture the entire South South in 2019.”

He assured that Akpabio would enjoy all rights and privileges accruing to members, saying “let me assure you that the President and party leaders of the progressives welcome you wholeheartedly into APC.”
He urged Akwa Ibom people to join forces with the progressives to sustain the change that Nigeria badly required.




Meanwhile, the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, has appointed former Senate minority leader, Godswill Akpabio as the party's leader in Akwa Ibom state.
We gathered that Oshiomhole made the disclosure on Wednesday, August 8, at the Ikot Ekpene stadium, venue of the reception rally for Akpabio who defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to All Progressives Congress (APC).


The APC chairman also taunted the PDP, describing it as a torn umbrella in the face of the current ‘’terrible political weather’’, noting that the party misruled the country for 16 years.

On Monday, August 6, 2018, a twitter handle, APC Newspaper, which claims to be a social media mouthpiece for the ruling party, All Progressive Congress announced that President Muhammdu Buhari has raised NYSC allowance to N49,800.
This writer, however, tweeted at NYSC to confirm the credibility of the APC Newspaper’s tweet about the allowance increase and @officialnysc replied saying it is a rumour.
Shortly after responding to the tweet that asked the agency to clear the air on the rumour @officialnysc immediately deleted the tweet.

Recall that the Director General, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brig. Gen. Suleiman Kazaure recently has reportedly said the Federal Government has already started the review of the NYSC corps members’ allowance.
The DG also said that the Presidency also copied the Ministry of Finance in the letter.
Kazaure announced this on Thursday, August 2, 2018, during a tour of the NYSC orientation camp in Abuja.

Some Fulanis who are currently languishing in a prison in Jos, Plateau state, have promised to change their ways and stop killing if they ever have the opportunity of coming out from jail. They made the promise during a church outreach conducted recently in the prison. 

In a video footage posted by evangelist Christian Chukwuka, the leader of the Abounding Grace Foundation, the preacher warned them that if they have the intention of not changing from their evil ways, they will never come out from prison because the country can not cordone nuisance any more. 

When they were asked if they know what their wives and children are doing at home, the inmates said that they don't know because of their condition which they would like to change as most of them vowed to repent and promised not to go back to the the life of crime. 

The pastor prayed for them and also encouraged them to be of good behaviour while they serve their prison sentence.

A military regime is better than this government- Secondus

Uche Secondus, national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), says a military government is better than the current administration.

Speaking on Wednesday at a dinner to welcome those who left the All Progressives Congress (APC), Secondus alleged that the ruling party has foisted on the country “a kind of military democracy”.

Senate President Bukola Saraki and Aminu Tambuwal, governor of Sokoto, are the latest notable politicians to defect to the PDP.

Last week, some members of the national assembly dumped the APC for the PDP.

Secondus said those who left APC could not watch the country slide into crisis.

“They can not watch the country sliding into crisis as we have found ourselves today – bloodletting, killings unabated. Government of denial, government of frame-up, government of intimidation and harassment, a government that believe in the feast of arms,” Secondus said.

“I thought that one of the critical elements of democracy is lobbying and persuasion is the greatest weapon of a democrat or a politician.

We have seen in the past few years that the APC-led government have foisted on this nation a kind of military democracy that cannot be described.

It is better for us to have full blown military.

“The institutions that are supposed to maintain law and order, like the one we have witnessed as in the case of Ekiti and in the case of Benue charged with the maintenance of law and order are the same people who are breaking this law and order.

No rule of law, court orders are not obeyed we are getting deeper and deeper into crisis.

“These heroes of democracy who have decided to move from the ruling party, very unusual to stand with the people, not only PDP, they are standing with the majority of Nigerians.

The need to honour them, they are the heros of democracy. Their decision was in the defence of democracy.”

The chairman said there was no longer freedom in the country.

“It is a long work to freedom. There is no longer in Nigeria. If you tell them the truth they will tell you that it is hate speech,” he said.

“Tell them the honest truth they will say it is fake news.”

Honestly, I didn't give Secondus a chance pf managing the egos in the party or achieving such feat in a short period of time. To me, he has done so well.
