Until the court makes a prominent politician a scapegoat as regards the contempt of court, it might not be accorded the deserved respect. The Court should not be barking alone but should bite. What happens to INEC Chairman's Contempt of court case? |
If not for the financial implications, elections should come every two years. I share in the joy of the workers and pensioners. |
Finally. The hide and seek game is over. Oshiomole is coming for his head soon. |

[b]When the Inspector was questioned by senior officers, he denied the allegation; stating that he recovered the beer bottle with liquid contents from a driver who was drinking right inside his car in traffic. He feared that the driver might get himself intoxicated thereby endangering his life and that of other road users. [/b This might be true as hard as it is to believe. He should have arrested the driver as exhibit to help his case. |

An employee who was sacked by his boss once protested that he gave his best. The boss simply replied ' Yes, you actually did your best but as you can see, your best isn't good enough for this company. Thank you' |
So the allegation was right after all. It's well. |
Politicians sha. Where will he now get money to run campaign proper? We know it's not true sha but continue. |
It s well |
Anyone who professes to be a progressive shouldn't be averse to direct primary. |
Nigerians should be scared instead except the system has been fortified against manipulation. Otherwise the rigging that will be perpetrated will be so unprecedented. |
Don't wait till he dares you. Be a patriotic Nigerian. Expose evil whenever and wherever you see one. |
Sharpshooota:The link in the OP is from Premium Times, the same news outlet which broke Adeosun's alleged NYSC certificate forgery scandal. Hence my deduction that the paper wants to pursue the case to logical end even though the government keeps shying away from it. ...and yes, I comdem evil anytime I see one, especially from a two-faced, self-righteous and sanctimonious government. |
The proper thing is to order a speedy and comprehensive investigation of the weighty allegation before absorbing the indicted Chief of Staff to avoid a repeat of Ex SGF's drama. |
Premium Times sure want to pursue Adeosun's case to a logical end. I wish them good luck, maybe in the next administration though. |
So many states should follow suit on the quarry suspension, especially Ogun and Oyo. But then, the government officials who could sell the country for a porridge wouldn't bother check their activities as long as their palms are greased. The proliferation of bore holes is simply as a result of government failure to provide portable water. Same way we have generators everywhere emitting the poisonous Carbonmonooxide non stop just because we haven't got our power generation and transmission right. |
This has nothing to do with God, Dr. Fayemi. If Fayose truly helped himself and his cronies with the state fund, then probe him and get him prosecuted. The laws and the courts aren't for decoration. God will not do for men what they can do themselves. |
4dor:Yayi only came to test the water. He has since returned to Lagos where he seems to stand a better chance. |
As it stands, he doubles as the Governor's adopted candidate as well as the consensus candidate of Yewa Elders. It is not right to refer to him as the APC's candidate yet until the Ijebu-Remo Axis of the APC backs down, otherwise he might still need to slug it out with other aspirants at the primary. He seems young and I think should be given a chance provided he's competent. |
Fayose wasn't really serious about contesting for president ab initio. He just wanted to trend. |
Good for him. He has Sina Kawonise to contend with at the primary. By the way whatever happens UPN? |
Anyone who professes to be a progressive should not ordinarilly be averse to direct primary. “Recall that Senator Ovie Omo-Agege on July 20th, 2018, supervised the conduct of Direct Primary for the Osun State APC governorship race, where he stated when declaring the result at the party’s secretariat in Osogbo and was quoted to have said; “Direct Primary adopted provided a level playing field for all aspirants. Political analysts are shocked that the same Senator is now in the forefront of scuttling direct primaries in Delta State”. If the above quote is true, wherein lies the integrity of our average politician? Sheer double-face |
What's with our institutions and 20 (twenty) copies of application and other credentials, most of which will still end in the trash can. Methinks online application could have been better and save cost. They can thereafter ask successful applicants to submit unlimited number of copies. Thumps up though to private universitites and other private establishments for creating employment opportunities. |
Can we have the allegations listed here for the sake of those outside the coverage of the said radio station? |
Anyone who professes to be a progressive should not be against direct primaries. |
CBN should also take measures to protect hapless customers of these banks from being extorted in their bid to recover the fine. As for MTN, they will still find a way to wriggle out of this with active connivance of our government officials. |
With the professor of law as his vice, he would be properly guided |
Someone remind me who referred to a president as Ogogo drunkard. What you won't take, don't ever do it to someone else. But seriously Nigerians should begin to respect that exalted seat. |
So swift. Even though it mght appear as a damage control, overzealousness shouldn't be condoned in whatever guise amongst the men in uniform. The informant should know he is already in deep poo. |
Rebuttal without tantrums and insult hurlings. This is a virtue that many needs to inculcate. We can disagree with another person's opinion without being necessarily casting aspersion on the person. |
